Eungella-creek-nature-stay is a private property located approximately 5km from the Eungella-township and 85km west of Mackay. Eungella; meaning land of the clouds in Wirri language is home to many rare and delicate animals and plants. The area is amongst the most diverse landscapes in the nation. Eungella is visited by nature lovers and health enthusiasts from all around the world. We welcome friends of nature to share our backyard. Our camp-sites all offer a spacious, secluded and natural stay experience. Pure mountain spring water flows down glory creek and is blissfully refreshing in the hotter months. For the health and ice-bath enthusiasts it is intensely-invigorating in the winter months. You have come to the right place if you are seeking a private, secluded nature stay with access to pristine water. Our home's permaculture style gardens have been carefully constructed to circulate the systems elements to achieve efficient energy flows by design, were products from one element feeds the next. We are holistic food lovers and are designing our home to provide us with divine garden to plate experiences. Glory creek winds through the property with many amazing camp sites along its banks. We have several spots available depending on what you are after. All sites require 4WD vehicles for access. *Your site options may vary on the day depending on the availability, group size, creek level and weather conditions. ******4WD VEHICLES ONLY****** Respect the peace and tranquillity appreciated by our guests and do your part to maintain that. No generators or loud music especially after dark. Examples of some of the sites include: Glory Pocket 4WD A tranquil rain-forest pocket surrounded by creek with plenty of grassed area to setup and relax. Access to Glory Pocket is via a creek crossing with 4x4 access only. Fires permitted in designated areas only. The camping area is surrounded by a U shaped creek with shallow wading areas and a chest deep swimming hole. Captains Corner 4WD A large area suitable for bigger groups, has a rocky creek access with little multiple wading pools. There is plenty of room to run around and kick a footy. Access to camping area is via a creek crossing then through the pines. A 4WD vehicle is required to cross the creek. Creek Hoppers Nook 4WD Private campsite tucked in at the end of the line where two gorgeous creeks meet. Shallow rock pools perfect for a creek hop and cooling off. Perfect spot for a quiet private camp stay. Amongst the pines 4WD A large grassy stretch of creek amongst the pine trees. If the time is right, you may be lucky enough to be amongst a flurry of fire-flies. There is access to the creek and plenty of shade amongst the pines. This is a large site and is suitable for larger groups. Fires are permitted in the open but not under the pine tree canopy. Rock Pool Bends Choose a spot to setup along the large creek frontage with multiple wading rock pools. This site has a fire-pit and creek water tap for ease of washing. A drop toilet is shared with the hosts. There are other 2WD spots available **We also will have available frozen organic woodfired sourdough that we bake in Eton, bags of fire wood and seasonal fruit and vegetables. If interested in any of these let us know when you check in. PETS: We are pet lovers and know a family getaway is not the same without the fur babies. This location is not only our home, it’s also the home of our dogs, chickens and countless native animals. If your dog likes to injure or kill any animals, then DO NOT bring them. Leave any 'intact' male dogs at home as we have one and we also have an 'intact' female dog. ONLY BRING SOCIAL AND FRIENDLY DOGS. Ensure your dogs are contained within your campsite and cleaned up after. Please notify us if you are unsure if your dog is ok to bring. Dogs must remain on a leash if venturing from the campsite. *All dog rules must be followed or you will be asked to leave.

    Such a beautiful little gem right beside our own creek , the nights were cool there were fireflies everywhere. Highly recommend if u want to get away to destress , thanks Adam and Ali u r living the dream , thank your for sharing your land .

    Loved my camp, very pretty setting by creek, ideal for a dip. Lots of private camp spots, just a short drive to Broken river national park and platypus. Need to be fairly self sufficient, entry road a little rough so definitely 4wd or if a pretend 4wd ( like my RAV4) that your not to precious about! Great hosts, even bought me a sourdough bread from their bakery. Looking forward to my next visit!

    It's was a beautiful piece of rainforest very secluded. A nice little river running beside the camp site which is very nice and relaxing to hear. Adam and Ali were very nice people we were greet with fresh eggs, homemade ginger beer which tasted great and wild raspberries. overall was great a great camping trip thank you very much Adam and Ali.

    This is a truly breathtaking campsite situated up the mountain in Eungella. All the campsites are secluded and quite tranquil — you’d never know other people were around. We were absolutely wowed by the natural beauty surrounding us.

    This is a magical place. We spent a day beside a newborn lamb and a river with rock pools. Too cold to swim. But when we got into a bit of strife when leaving, Adam arranged for his fabulous neighbours, Mary and Doug, to help pull us out of a ditch. They were amazing. We just loved the time we spent here.

    We love camping at Hillbilly Farm. Its so peaceful, and the grounds are well-kept. The creek is lovely for a swim during the warmer months. Adam and Ali are very welcoming, and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay

    It was great to get back to nature and away from technology. Gorgeous creek to take a cool dip, plenty of land to have privacy at each camp site and loved sitting around the fire every night and relaxing. Will be back for sure

    We LOVED Hillbilly - Allie and Adam are wonderful. Had the place to ourselves - felt very lucky! Teenagers say - beautiful, lovely swim spot, nice toilet (!), gorgeous, peaceful. Thank you! Parents say - no “reception” - woo hoo!

    What an awesome little spot! Hosts were amazing, happiest of people! Camp site was a Beautiful grassed area right on the creek, what more could you ask for! We will be returning and can’t wait to see the growth of this permaculture farm that is being developed by hard work and pure love❤️

    This would have to be the best camping experience we have ever been on, the Hosts are lovely, friendly people, who leave u to be and relax and take in the paradise that they too fell in love with. We seen firefly’s and other walks of nature, had our own private piece of creek, plenty of shade among the pine trees, this is a very private place to come where the 5 campsites are spend out enough to feel as if u were the only people there. I highly recommend this place for family’s and couple’s to get away from it all without the phone service to make it all that more enjoyable. This is camping for us and we will be back to stay at firefly flats again soon.

    My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. Our campsite was in a secluded spot right next to a beautiful creek as well as sheeps and chickens. The hosts were very lovely people and strived to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful stay. Ps remember to bring something to keep the ticks away :)

    We loved our stay at Hill Billy farm co. We utilised the 2wd site on the way into the property by the farm animals, as we have a low mazda and the other sites are a drive over the creek, which look/feel amazing. We swam and explored the area and loved the open fires and freedom out in these parts. The hosts are doing a great job at sharing this slice of paradise and farming in a way that is mindful of the earth!

    Had a lovely time! Lovely relaxing, peaceful spot and we saw a few fireflies! Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We loved their friendly doggos. Heads up, we did come home with a few little grass ticks though!

    We really needed a switch off weekend and this place definitely supplied it. So peaceful. Kids had an absolute blast looking at the animals plus playing in the creek. The toilet was really clean and we’ll maintained. Adam and Ali were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed using their fresh produce to create our best damper ever. We’ll definitely be back and bring some friends to help spread the word.

    Amazing camp sights next to the clear creek, very private, plenty of space for family’s or groups! Adam and Ali are absolutely lovely and extremely welcoming !! The farm tour was very informative and it was so great to see a newly set up farm !! Will definitely be coming back to enjoy their patch of paradise again!!

    By far one of our favourite spots to stay. The drive in is epic! Nestled high up in the mountains of Eungella Adam and Ali have got an amazing self sufficient existence going on, a full time permaculture farm yielding a huge range of veggies and eggs (which can be purchased in seasonal boxes) the camping is fantastic, we had a beautiful little corner by the fresh flowing creek, slept to the frogs croaking at night and woke to a refreshing swim in the creek in the morning, it was truely a fantastic all round experience and we would’ve happily stayed for many more nights if we had the time.

    We loved our stay from the friendly welcome, super large campsite, access to the creek and to top it off the farm tour and produce to bring home. Such a unique and boutique experience. To top it off we were also lucky to experience a light show by the fireflys in the pine forest.
