Previously the property was a cattle farm and piggery owned by the same family and passed down the generations. More recently about 25 years ago it was rented to a builder who had a saw mill operating here. We purchased the property about 10 years ago with plans of creating Estate Lodges Caravan & Camping. Our pet-friendly property offers unpowered sites for campers to enjoy all this area has to offer. Explore our bush walking tracks, enjoy some bird watching and see what wildlife you can spot! Your evenings can be spent around supplied fire pits gazing at the stars. We have soft drinks & firewood for sale. Please note, access to power may be possible to arrange, at an additional cost. If you require power, please let us know when you send through your booking request and we can advise further. There is access nearby to horse riding, hot air ballooning and skydiving. We are also closely located to Canungra golf course.

  • Review summary

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

This campsite makes a strong impression with its peaceful atmosphere and attentive host, David. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained amenities and the chance to enjoy nature, mentioning the creek, walking tracks, and the opportunity to see fireflies. A few reviews note that the sites can be close together and that insect presence, such as mosquitoes and ticks, can be an issue. Overall, it's a popular choice for those looking to disconnect and enjoy a serene camping experience.

Camped in a 5 m caravan at Mountain, Creek & Rainforest Camp with pets, Sept 2026.

    It was okay

The owner was really friendly and helpful. The facilities are really good. The amenities block is excellent and a credit to them. They have clearly invested into this property with powered sites etc. The main thing to be aware of and that the photos really don't do justice is that the campsites are right next to each other and not on the creek. The creek was no more than a trickle ( obviously not their fault) there's two campsites on the other side of the creek that I would recommend if you can get them as that's where the swimming hole is. There's nothing inherently wrong with this place, but it's more a small caravan park vibe than a wilderness stay is probably the best way to explain it. If you have teenagers prepare them for no reception too 🤣. All in all its well presented and relatively quiet, if they've had rain you might get a decent creek.

Beautiful location, lovely and quiet and the animals were an added bonus for us all!

Small park. Large sites. Great showers. Lots of shady areas to escape the summer sun. We have an 18ft caravan and had an easy reverse, the length of the park (approx. 100m), to access the creekfacing site. An easy drive from Brisbane, and with a strict checkout time of 10am, means you can be home in time to still mow the lawn :-)
