We enjoyed our time there, but I think it is a camp ground people would be unlikely to go back to without further enhancements being made. These could include thoughtful enhancements to the showers and toilet area (it’s not hard to work out what these should be if you use them a few times). It was very hot when we were there, so a decent swimming hole would also make it much more attractive (not sure if you could remove some rocks to make it deeper?)
. Our first night there was pretty crowded: something you don’t expect on a large farm property. It seems there are not very many good sites available, so tents were pretty close and some people got located on fairly poor sites—including one couple placed on a steep hillside.

We arrived later at night, but David was super accommodating and always happy to help! The place has a really chill vibe, perfect if you want a quick escape from the city. It was ideal for us since we don’t live too far away. Toilets and showers were clean, and even though our site was near the road, it wasn’t busy during our stay, so it didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommend this spot! we’ll definitely be back! 😊

Enjoyed camping at David’s land. Place was serene and quiet, nice views, nice creek, and very lovely hosts. The sites are quite close to each other but we didn’t mind as we were looking for a quick get away. Everyone was very respectful of each other and followed the camp rules. If you need a camp with toilet, pets allowed, powered/unpowered sites, showers w hot water this is a good spot. If you prefer to have a huge space just for yourself and be away from other people then move along this is not for you. We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts are very accomodating, kind, and welcoming. Thanks David and family, see yous next time. 🏕️

I would have to honestly say this has been one of our best Hipcamp adventures… why ?
Dave met us on arrival an took the pressure of us of where to set up
He had an amazing spot backing onto the creek which accommodated our 5.2m camper trailer an the ford ranger
He went out of his way to help back us in between numerous Vehicles to set up in the perfect spot
I cannot thank Dave enough on his hospitality helpfulness an communication throughout our whole stay
The toilet block was next level …. So clean, hot water and enough pressure to blow you out of the shower
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone an everyone that wants a hassle free camping experience
I will definitely be going back

We loved our stay! The location was perfect – nice and isolated, yet only a quick trip into Canungra for supplies, and not too far from all the action at Thunderbird Park and beautiful Mt Tamborine. The facilities at the farm were excellent, with a clean toilet block and honestly the best camp shower I’ve ever experienced. On top of all that, it’s dog-friendly. Ripper!

I had the best birthday weekend away ever.
We went from Friday to Monday and it was so calming, the best shady spot ever and we got to camp right next to the creek.
The bathroom/toilet block was so close to everything, was super clean and looked amazing.
Dave and Julie were excellent hosts and welcomed us onto their amazing property. Would highly recommend their camp grounds.

Dave was a super friendly and accomodating host, facilities great and camp sites big enough for us and the dogs. Biggest downfall was being right beside a road, which appears like a quiet country road but was super busy.

We loved it. Dave was awesome. His land is gorgeous. Toilet and shower was very clean. Our first trip out but definitely not our last. Thanks for having us. Oh yep we get to see fire flies, that was pretty cool.

Loved tent camping here. We set up camp on the otherside of the river and could access the clean bathrooms by crossing the river during the day and a very short drive by night. It worked quite well for us because we had 3 dogs and it was their first time camping. Dave was a champ and was so easy going. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice n quiet. Yes, there are road works at the front but it wasnt noisy. Bathrooms nice n clean. Cute farm animals. A nice walk up the back of the property. Minimal phone reception, if any. Beautiful clear sky views and David was pleasant to deal with!

Beautiful little spot. The owner is friendly and accommodating.
Loved swimming in the creek - even though it was bloody cold. Small number of sites and surrounded by nature.
Would definitely recommend a stay.
Please note there is no reception on the property or within 1k of the property.

We had a great stay. The bathroom works very well and has hot water! The place is pleasant and very quiet.
Most of the sites are close to each other, so if you're looking for something more private, I recommend booking in advance.

My absolute “go to” camp spot, Dave is a great host, mindful of how and where he allocates your spot, showers were nice and hot, great for the current weather. My third trip and many more to come, a wonderful mini-reset location.

We had a great time here, it was very peaceful and the camp caregiver was very friendly and helpful. Amenities are very clean, firepit was provided. overall a great experience.

It’s a quiet property that isn’t over crowded. It’s very natural campground. Perfect for a quick camping holiday. We stayed in winter for 4days and it was perfect, peaceful, lots of animals both native and farm. The creek is big enough for a swim, clean showers and toilets. People stuck to the rules of dogs on leash! Town isn’t too far away either to get supplies.
There are cattle ticks though. I Ended up with 3 but that wouldn’t deter me from coming back. Just make sure your dogs are on preventative. Dog had none😅

Great place to get away and not far from Brisbane. Easy check-in process, beautiful area with some animals for kids to pat. A good camping base to explore the surrounding area.

Had a fantastic stay here! The campsite was beautifully quiet — perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. The toilet and shower facilities were spotless, which made the experience even more comfortable. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and communication was excellent from start to finish. Everything was well-organized and exactly as described. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful and well-managed camping getaway!

Beautifully remote, lovely camp ground in amongst the trees. I was the only one staying there this night. The sound of the animals and forest at night and dawn was amazing. And so many stars. Showers were nice and hot.
Just a heads up though - there was no signal on Optus so come prepared to be fully offline.
