We were the only people on the site last night. It was stunning. Plenty of space and separate sites. There was wood available to burn and fire pits scattered among the sites. We didn’t get to have a fire because of the wind and dry conditions, but it would have been lovely. Great scenery, sunset and sunrise, the stars!!!! … and we had some cows come to visit. It is well away from the highway and blissfully quiet

We could not find it. So had to drive back to Roma and book into another camp. The directions were hard to follow.

Wonderful spot! View was gorgeous with plenty of animals around. Great place to go for some peace and quiet :) definitely recommend camping here!
Tranquil and beautiful place to camp. We had it all to ourselves! The dogs loved it too. Glorious sunsets and having a camp fire is always a treat. Alanah and George were such hospitable and friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and we learnt so much about the property and area. Thank you for having us stay 😊

Great quiet spot with a fire pit and loads of wood!
We absolutely loved camping at the hill site on El Dorado. Alanah is very friendly and helpful. The directions are clear and accurate. We did miss the red gravel turnoff only because the passenger was looking left and the driver was checking the odometer for distance. The red gravel is on the right. Trust us to be the first to miss it! We had the place to ourselves and the peaceful surroundings were perfect. The sites are all cleared and mowed. Fire pits and wood are provided. El Dorado is an easy drive to Roma.
We had a wonderful stay ! The stars at night were amazing and we took some fantastic photos
The peace and quiet was awesome and our dogs were able to run around and have heaps of fun
Instructions were easy and Alanah was quick to reply

Loved it. So peaceful and beautiful, we were the only campers. Alanah and George were very welcoming and honest. Rain was coming and they advised us we would have trouble getting out with our van if we stayed the extra night, we really appreciated the heads up.

We on the hill.It was an absolutely beautiful spot. Views for days. Flat grassy spot. Very private and peaceful. Alanah, s location directions were very good. I can highly recommend this Hipcamp. Thanks Joe and Kevin.
Nice secluded area. Open field with plenty of spots to choose from. No surrounding lights making the night sky perfect for star gazing. Fire pit and wood provided.

What an awesome spot !the sunrise and sunset are something else !
We loved staying at El Dorado Farm!! We had the place to ourselves for 2 nights with just the birds and cows for company. Incredible 360 views and the night sky was spectacular.
Great instructions for finding the place provided by Alanah. Easy to access with a caravan. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect for solitude, quiet, friendly cows, beautiful spot. About 35 minutes out of Roma.
We were the only ones at the hillside for our visit to this beautiful hipcamp. Plenty of cleared areas to choose from and a drum fire pit. Plenty of fire wood to collect.
Stayed two nights and was the perfect stop between Canarvon Gorge and Chinchilla to rest and relax and enjoy the serenity.
Alanah came down to say hello.
Great spot for groups and sites are so vast you wont hear your neighbours.
Highly recommend.
If you’re chasing stillness, and beiatiful sunrises and sunsets, this was a stunner!

Nice view. Needs attention to the grass. Not well layer out.
Beautiful place to stay when exploring Roma.
Such a peaceful, relaxing farm stay with gorgeous views and heaps of space.
All sites are well spread out and having a fire under all those stars is what camping is all about.
Directions are really easy to follow using Google
Maps.
Owners are very friendly and accommodating with great communication.
Highly recommend staying here over a caravan park if your set up is self contained.

Gorgeous spot. The elevation affords sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. It’s very quiet, plenty of space to spread out. It’s worth having a wander around to see options you can’t see when you pull into the main mowed area.

Such an awesome little spot away from the town, yet close enough to go in for a look around. We were the only ones on the hill site. Excellent value. Alanah stopped by on her way home to say g’day, very welcoming. So good, we had planned on returning on our way home, but our travels took us in a different direction. It is definitely on the radar for future travels.
We loved the beautiful views and the magic of the night skies. Our hosts dropped in to say hello but for the remainder of our stay, we were on our own. The dogs loved the space to run around.
The view is magnificent and great to have a fire too!
