Private Hike-In Sanctuary 45-Acre Forest Escape – Hike-In & Leave No Trace The Space: Tucked away in the timber on the highest part of our 45-acre Yandina Creek farm, these three exclusive sites offer a deep immersion in the Australian bush. These aren't open, exposed paddocks; these are private clearings nestled through the trees, offering filtered light, cool shade, and total privacy. This is a sanctuary for those who want to hike in, switch off, and leave nothing but footprints behind. You very likely won't even hear our Airbnb guests on the valley floor below, and you won't see other campers unless they hike past. The Experience: The Hike: Park your vehicle safely at the main farmhouse. From there, it’s a scenic 600m hike up the old fire trail into the forest. Forest Immersion: Enjoy the peace of being surrounded by native timber. Perfect for birdwatching or just escaping the coastal humidity. Strictly No Fires: To protect our forest and local wildlife, no campfires are permitted at any time. Portable solid fuel stoves for cooking are considered on application. Total Seclusion: Only 3 sites across the entire 30 acre ridge. Self-Contained Only: We are committed to the "Leave No Trace" ethos. Toilets: You must bring your own toilet. Waste: All rubbish must be packed out. Peace: No generators or loud music. Just the forest. 20 minutes from Coolum Beach, Sunshine Coast Airport Eumundi, Yandina and Noosa Heads.

The Vibe: Tranquil & Atmospheric The Setting: This site is all about the soundscape. Perched just above the falls, after rain you’ll have the constant, soothing white noise of running water as your backdrop. It’s tucked into a lush, shaded pocket of the forest that stays cool even on the hottest Sunshine Coast afternoons. Best for: Campers who love the sound of water and those looking for a fresh deep-forest feel. The Hike: The least technical walk off the main fire trail to reach this hidden gem.

Across the Creek

The Vibe: Remote & Immersed The Setting: To reach this site, you’ll climb the waterfalls, cross the creek and choose a spot to leave the rest of the world behind. It is the most challenging of the three, offering an isolated feel surrounded by forest. Sacred and magic. Best for: The true hiker. The Hike: Requires a creek crossing—be prepared for a bit more adventure depending on recent rainfall!

Top of the Ridge

The Vibe: Airy & Private The Setting: The highest point on the property. This site offers the most "open" feel, with light filtering through the canopy and a sense of being on top of the world. While still nestled in the timber, you get the best of the coastal breezes here. It’s the ultimate spot for star-gazing through the branches at night. Best for: Campers who want to feel the breeze and enjoy the widest sense of space on the 30-acre ridge. The Hike: The most technical 600m trek up the old fire trail.

Above the waterfalls.
Beautiful property in a great location. Lovely hosts that were friendly and more than accomodating. Would definitely come again.
