Great, secluded spot to camp. Plenty of room to stretch out without feeling cramped. Loved the huge fire pit in the centre of the camp.

Lots of trees very private spot. Horses are just lovely and very friendly. If you are all equiped this is a great spot. I wouldn't be taking a sedan type car. Rough dirt tracks with divots along the way.

The area around the camp was absolutely beautiful and we woke to beautiful blue skies and wildlife around us. The horses came to see us in the afternoon and the dam looked amazing. However the rule about loud music didn’t extend to the host in what appeared to be a birthday party. Music went on until 2am after hubby called out for it to stop. Courtesy email or message that this was to be a late night event may have changed our booking. It’s a shame as it was a great camp site for the night.

Whinpullen Camp
Once we found the campsite we so very much impressed. The space was cleared and plenty of room for a large 9 person tent, well away from the fire-pit and magnificent views of the mountains in the morning. Was greeted by 3 friendly horses on the first morning. This would be a perfect setting during the hot summer days with plenty of shade from the trees. High enough to get the afternoon breeze. Walked around to check out the other campsites at the property, can’t wait to come back and try the other one by the dam, however this site is probably the most private.

Calm View was a lovely quiet site overlooking a dam frequented by ducks and horses. It was beautiful watching the horses come down for their daily drink. Access was easy and communication with the owner was great. Site was well maintained and comfortable for two camper trailers.

Beautiful little spot! There was firewood already stacked for when we arrived. The property is also great for a little walk/explore, our dog love climbing through the scrub and riding on the canoe!

What a spot! Was the final night of our 3 week outback trip and couldn’t have picked a better spot for the night before our return home. Beautiful dam, quiet, private, lovely views, even had a little visit from the owner’s 3 horses who were very respectful and had me looking forward to getting home to see my 3 the following day (I’d been dreading coming home to reality)! Thanks Susie we’ll definitely be back in future! :)

The campsite we were directed to was a backyard setting with glass bottles littering the fire spot, and disused machinery and garbage around the area. The second campsite we were shown to was double booked on the second night. The first night was lovely.

Beautiful forrest setting and so peaceful. Plenty of wood to collect from the forrest and friendly animals. The camp sites can do with some signage but I had a fantastic time. Thank you Susie.

Whinpullen Camp
We had a lovely stay at Whinpullen camp. The site is easy to find and nice and flat. It’s surrounded by rocky outcrops which make for magical sunset backdrops. We will be back!

Had a nice stay with our dogs. The cows in the next paddock came over to welcome us. Otherwise we had plenty of privacy.
Would like to come back when the weather is not so wet.

Nice View site was exactly what I needed this weekend. Quiet and secluded, there wasn't a soul in sight. There were a couple of level spots around the site which meant tent sleeping was comfortable. Ample deadfall around the site meant that the campfire was stoked all night.

The site is not what it seems from the photos - it is much better. Very private, can fit 3-4 tents, has a great fireplace and a lot of firewood around. We were visited by the brushtail possum in the night and horses in the morning. Had some problems leaving the site with 2wd, but should be OK in dry weather.
