It’s exactly what the ad says - if you are after somewhere no fuss to park your van for the night then this is fine. Close to the M1 and all amenities. Nice view of the horse paddock.

We arrived to find no one home and no contact number supplied. A woman working at the property told us where she thought we should park. We never laid eyes on the host during our stay.

The property is in a good location not far from Brisbane, entry is poorly marked especially since access is on a busy road . Nice view from camping area, the property agists horses- it is busy at times and noisy. We would have appreciated more info .

It was relatively quiet with-an outlook of horses and paddoch. The host mainly left us alone to ‘be’; we enjoyed that. Met some nice folks coming in to work with their horses. Unfortunately, there was heavy rain a couple of days. We tried to minimize water damage and turned fans on the grass area for two days packing up our floor matt two days early to help the grass dry out. We were there 10 days and had enough water and power with us to cope. Pleasant. Experience.

We really enjoyed our stay, well maintained area nestled between trees looking over the fields,
Horses and chickens at the property, the eggs were amazing.
Our 2 dogs enjoyed lazing under the shady trees.
Went to the Showgrounds (only 5 minutes away) on Sunday morning for the markets, great fresh produce and lots to choose from.
Directions made it easy to find and Lauretta met us on arrival to direct us to our area.
No power or water, the nearby Showgrounds offers use of dump point and $5 water fill.
We were the only caravaners there for our 4 night stay.
Lovely spot to escape to.

Look to be totally honest it wasn’t what I was expecting - however it was perfect for what we needed
Literally in the back yard of Loretta’s home
Chooks wandering around and horses over the fence
So close to the Caboolture markets which was perfect to restock with fresh produce!

Great quiet place to stay, site was lovely and level. Considering the amount of rain recently there was no mud and the site had easy access for our van.
Loved the chickens and the horses.
Will definitely be back next time we need to stay near Brisbane

This Hipcamp was a little different than most other camps I have stayed as it was basically in a backyard however, I did enjoy it here and once you got to the site it was private and peaceful. Over looking the fields and down to the mountains was your outlook with a shady flat area under the Pecan trees to set up. The horses will come and say hi which was a highlight and you can take a walk down to the dam at the rear of the property. A good place to stop over and explore the area. Bribie Island is not far as are the beautiful glasshouse mountains. You will need the full set up here no power or toilet. Overall a peaceful stopover.

It was… ok? We were located about 200 metres from the side of her house so I felt there was not enough privacy especially with the road being in front of you lol. There’s another spot at the back that overlooks the mountains but it was already vacated. If you have no where else to go… I guess? Loved the horse and chickens. We booked for 2 nights but stayed for one.

The place is quiet, cute 😊 and with a wonderful view into the west.. the sun 🌞 of the sunset made our dinner sitting outside to a perfect evening. And the birds at the following morning said hello with a concert… thanks Lauretta for this wonderful stay 🤗 Martin

We had a great 2 night stay here. It was quiet and peaceful. Loved the chickens and guinea fowls just wondering around our van, although the 4.30 am rooster alarm the first morning was a bit to early. Lauretta was quick to respond to messages and very welcoming. We would definitely stay again when traveling through.

Loved the views of the sun set and Australian bush rolling in the distance. We made friends with the horses and had a lovely time cooking on the camp fire. Woke up by the rooster and the Guinea fowls magic 🤩

We took our caravan to this property for the weekend. Plenty of room, but not as isolated as we had hoped. Whilst it didn't deter from our experience, you want get further away then 50m from the main house. There is also another house (rental) on this property which was less than 30m from where we parked our van. Lastly, we paid extra for the power and water. Be aware, the power point is located in the shed and you will need a minimum of 2 x leads and the water is an old tank that Lauretta informed us used to contain molasses. We didn't think this was suitable for drinking, so had to purchase bottled water. Honestly it felt to us that Lauretta really didn't wish us to utilise the power or water, and I wonder why then this service was advertised.
