Welcome to Agnes Park Enviro Camp. Children aged 0-5 camp for free. A property that boasts both natural bushland and cleared pasture, nestled within the serene seaside communities of Agnes Water and the Town of 1770 (also known as Seventeen Seventy).   Campers will enjoy setting up camp on the flat, grassy ground, walking through the natural bush and stumbling across the gully which rises to fantastic sea views. The property is located only 2 minutes drive to Agnes Water Main Beach, the Discovery Trail Lookout and the Paper Bark Forest Boardwalk.  A short 10 Minute drive will find you in the picturesque town of 1770, where you can enjoy the fantastic 1770 Marina. From the Marina, you can depart to Lady Musgrave Island, enjoy 1 hr to full day tour on the iconic Larcs and enjoy  spectacular sunsets. The are some must-visit small businesses in the area including Rusty Pelican Fish and Chips, Pancake Creek Tours, Katrina's Bar (for sunset drinks) and Marina Cafe (for best coffee and vanilla slice). There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Council's dump point is just 5 minutes away.

Agnes Park Enviro Camp
2nd visit to this site. It's main draw is it's proximity to Agnes water. 5 mins by car. Plenty space and large sites within 2 areas. Area 1 nice big grassy site with few well spaced large trees that can provide some shade and tend to define where campers setup. This area is next to main road into Agnes water but we never found noise at night intrusive. Some may. Site 2 is further from road and has a bit more privacy from prying eyes.. Plenty of large sites mingled between trees. Bit more shade here and is quieter. Probably our preferred area. Both sites cater for small tents to large caravans with easy access for all vehicles types. So to summarise, all sites are flat, plenty of space, well priced, 5 mins by car to Agnes water and easy access for all vehicles. We will be back.

Natural Bush Setting at Budget Cost
If you’re looking for a natural, bushy, quiet place to camp for a bit, this is a great low cost option. We stayed for three nights and rode our bikes into Agnes Water and 1770. The first Km is on the road, but great paths the rest of the way. We were greeted by our friendly host a couple of hours after we arrived and just left to have our holiday after that. There are some longer term campers there who are nice and friendly, but not in your face. It’s not the neatest place, but once you’re set up, it’s just lovely and peaceful and you have your own private area.

Basic bush camp
Easy to book and was available when nothing else was. Very basic bush camp, it would be good if camping spaces were marked out more clearly. lots of mozzies at the moment. The rules say dog on leash but we had 2 large dogs come roaming into our camp site multiple times which is frustrating for people who are following the rules and may not have a very social dog.

Do yourself a favour!
This was a return visit to this Hipcamp - great quiet spot only a 10 minute drive to the 1770 marina where you can leave on a LARC tour, Lady Musgrave day trip or have some Red Emperor and chips at the “Rusty Pelican” . Great communication by Mark prior to arrival giving details about the camp. Camped below the dam this time just for a change, nice open spots where I could use the solar on the caravan, but still surrounded by lots of greenery. Below the dam is closer to the road however I didn’t find road noise an issue at all. Thanks Mark for yet another great stay! I will be back!

8/10 camp, just minutes from Town.
A nice spot close to town, not overcrowded when we visited and spent 3 nights down by the dam. Would stay here again, less mosquitoes than i was expecting for staying 15 metres from a dam in foresty terrain. Not a single midgee bite either which was nice.
