Goldenrod Preserve Camping offers private tent camping on 90 scenic acres in the heart of the Finger Lakes, minutes away from Montour Falls, Watkins Glen, and Ithaca. The property features open meadows, mature forests, quiet pond views, small streams, and seasonal waterfalls—giving campers a peaceful, nature-first escape. Spend your days exploring nearby gorges, hiking trails, state parks, Seneca Lake, and the wine trail, then come back for a simple, rustic evening under the stars. This stay is best for guests who value scenery, space, and a more natural camping experience over polished campground infrastructure.

Creek View

Creek View is a rustic tent site near the preserve’s creek area, offering a quieter, more secluded feel with a bit more privacy than the more open-view sites. The campsite is approximately 25’ x 25’ and includes a leveled 10’ x 20’ tent pad for an easier, more comfortable setup. The site includes a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs, a fire pit for use during permitted conditions, a portable toilet, and a hand-wash station. Cell service is generally available at the campsite for most major carriers, and Wi-Fi hotspot access is available at the camp store. Optional add-ons, rentals, and camp store items are available through Hipcamp and at the camp store. Creek View photos coming soon as we continue improving the site while the snow melts.
