My friends and I stayed for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The whole place was spotless and beautifully maintained — you can really tell how much care goes into keeping it that way. The swimming hole and facilities are a short walk from the campsites, and if you head up the hill, you’ll get stunning sunset views.
Alex was incredibly welcoming, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed (even supplied us with loads of firewood!).
Can’t wait to come back!

Creekside Camp #1
Pretty good area lot's of space for about 5 couples with kids. However bring fire wood. The host will say they'll "load you up" but barely gave us enough wood. We even asked for more wood but they never gave us any. Plus the swimming hole was pretty dirty.

Really loved camping here and sincerely appreciated the friendly and welcoming hosts, their communication and property.
Quiet and personal setting with only a few other campsites spread out across the entire (large) beautiful property. Honestly felt like we were on our own in the bush with no one else around. Perfect location for day trips to the beach or nearby mid north coast communities, but felt like we were miles from civilisation and this was exactly what the doctor ordered.
We stayed in campsite #3 which was great but just be mindful that the toilet is shared with another site, but it definitely didn't bother us. Every site has fire pits and hosts were nice enough to even provide us with some fire wood which was much appreciated and nice touch.

Creekside Camp #1
We had a great weekend at Georgia and Alex's property. We camped at creekside camp number 1. Alex had recently mowed the camp site and there was a pile of firewood at the firepit. We had the entire property to ourselves and it was the perfect spot to disconnect for us and our two young daughters. Alex was responsive and super helpful especially considering they had very recently had a new baby. The swimming hole was beautiful also.

The Field (Swimming Hole) Campsite
Really lovely spot and close enough to Scott’s head beach and cafes and shops which was just beautiful. Pit toilet is a little bit of a walk away from the campsite which made it a bit tricky for the kids and adults alike in the dark. Waterhole was lovely and cool to swim in but getting in and out stirs up a lot of muddy sediment so don’t think this’ll be your “shower”. There’s also a very steep dirt road to get out of the campsite which was doable with a 2WD but wouldn’t be recommended for those not comfortable with skidding around a bit and I imagine in the wet it’d be even trickier. Hosts were super helpful and friendly, providing us with as much rainwater as we needed (we brought our own containers though). Rainwater is crystal clear and we determined safe enough to drink.

Had a great time. Nice and secluded site. Huge amount of space around 'The Field' camp-site. Alex was so helpful and kind. Great fire pit. Steep hill in and out, but we managed with 2WDs. Big beautiful green trees all around. Very short trek to the swimming hole. Would happily go again if we need a site in this area.

The Field (Swimming Hole) Campsite
Amazing location in the middle of a national park. you really feel immersed in nature while being only 15 mins away from the beach. Alex helped us navigate to our camping spot and provided us with everything we needed - including firewood. When it was time for us to leave he even offered to drive our 2WD up the hill so that we wouldn't have to stress about it. Top experience and top host!

We stayed at the Yagaari Mountainside Sanctuary (Creekside Campsite #2) for a week over New Years, 2024/2025.
The hosts, Georgia and Alex, were wonderfully friendly and helpful and were gracious enough to provide water and firewood during our stay. Alex was also on-site daily to help us out with any extra requests and he provided us with some fantastic recommendations for places to explore around the area. The place is very well-maintained with clean compost toilets and clear, flat and soft ground to set up camp. We enjoyed daily dips in the watering hole to cool off, and the sunset spot provided an amazing view.
It is essential to pack plenty of insect repellant if you are staying during the humid months, as we found the mosquitoes to be a bit of a challenge. If you are a light sleeper I would also suggest packing earbuds as the cicadas were very loud once the sun rose.

Very seamless check in process, beautiful campsite and the toilet was great! Nice touch providing the firewood and water. Wish we could have stayed longer to check out the creek but was an awesome stopover point.

Definitely recommend - magnificent, dramatic location to camp and super-generous hosts. Waterhole for swimming and grand view from the lookout at sunset. Very keen to return!

The hosts were so receptive. Showed me around the property. Very secluded in each spot. I was fortunate enough to have the place to myself but even if there was a number of groups the space between would be ample. The dam looked beautiful but I didn’t partake of a swim. Would recommend whilst you don’t need 4wd having a vehicle with some clearance would be good idea.

Very welcoming and helpful. Provided us a choice of site and free firewood! Amazing space for a large group or smaller groups. Privacy and scenery are great and with a dam for refreshing. Awesome little spot
