Come and set up camp in an open paddock (14 acres) with 3 dams up on Mangrove Mountain of the hinterland of Gosford, a stones throw from all the Central Coast has to offer. SADDLES restaurant, Calga. Mooney Mooney Club has great food dine on the verandah at sunset. Walkabout Wildlife Park is almost diagonally opposite the Jones Road entrance. Sommersby Waterfalls. Avoca and Terrigal beaches 1/2 hour away. The block is 14 acres adjoining Brisbane Water National Park there are bush trails to Weeney Creek out the back gate. Situated a few minutes off the expressway close to East Gosford shopping, (12 minutes drive) Kariong Shops and service station 9 minutes away Somersby Falls, Woy Woy Falls and Glenworth Valley. Sydney CBD is 67kms south with Newcastle an hour to the North. Just 30 minutes from Hornsby, Minutes from Hornsby. There are no Amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Early check-in and late check-out available by arrangement. Additional vehicle access are allowed upon request.

Such a great spot! Apart from the odd horse rider in the distance it was very private Plenty of firewood around and lots of areas to explore with our cat :)

2nd time we have been here. Absolutely love it. It’s close to where we live so our grandkids are able to visit for the day. Jen the host is great says they are welcome to visit as they are all young and love coming for a few hours of camping. Horses close and it’s very peaceful and clean. Just a relaxing place for a few days.

We had a great weekend at Wywurri. Stayed in site 1, which after checking them all out we definitely think was the best. Only negative with this site over others, is that all other campers drive past when going in and out, and there is the horse property next door which always had something happening, but this didn't bother us at all, and we loved having the rocky outcrop the kids and dogs could climb, and also provide privacy from other sites. Noise from the M1 was audible, but it was just a background hum, and certainly didn't bother us at all. We'd happily return here. We comfortably fit 2 caravans on the grassed area, and used the dirt space next to the rock to have our seating and campfire.

Site 5 is nice and private. It was a bit soft driving in on the LHS but apart from that its a super site amongst the trees.

This was a lovely camp site, reasonably close to Sydney on our travels south. Easy access only a short distance from the M1 motorway. Sites were large, views of the property were great, some lovely rock formations, kids would love them for climbing. Would stop here again if our travels take us this way.

We had site 4 which was private from other campers and amongst some trees. The orchestra of nature was so good we turned off the music and just listened by the fire, slept with the doors open…..and in the morning too ♥️

We really enjoyed our stay here. The neighbouring campers were so far away you felt like you were on your own. The sites were clearly marked and easy to find. The directions given were spot on. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway away from too many people then this is the place. Will definitely be going back.

What a great place to stay! So close to places, we visited Australian Reptile Park & Glenworth Valley. The campsite was very easy to find & very clear instructions.

A good place to base yourself for the Central coast of NSW. The host was great to communicate with and was very accommodating as I had to change our dates a couple of times. Next time ,we will probably go further up to the higher sites.

Loved camping here! Site was super easy to find, clear instructions and plenty of signs to help guide you. We were only here for brief time but was a nice quiet space, heaps of room in each site.

Lovely site, private and freshly mowed. Great view of the stars. Good communication with the host Jen. So close to Sydney/home and a nice 1/2 hour drive to Ettalong beach. Highly recommended.

We stayed on site 1 in a caravan. Plenty of space nice and flat. Our two dogs loved being able to roam around. Very convenient spot close to highway. Great spot to rest and recharge.

It was an absolutely gorgeous and peaceful campsite, we completely fell in love with it. Easy to find and easy to navigate to. We stayed at site 4 which was super secluded and quiet. We came after a lot of rain and we have a 2wd. The entry point to the campsite was over grass, so mud was to be expected. The site was still 100% reachable, my partner got out and we navigated through easily enough by going off the main track by a few metres. My advice to anyone with an old 2wd after heavy rain is just to take it slow and maybe have someone outside helping guide through the muddy spot. The main paddock and campsite were completely dry - absolutely no issues

Very good instructions. Easy access. I had a large family van that got access without issue. Easy access to highway and local towns. Very quiet, only country sounds in the air. This is am off grid site so plan as such then all will be good. Thanks you.

Even after some rain, the place held up really well—no flooding at all, just a bit of mud near the entrance which was totally manageable. The camping areas were nicely mowed and clearly maintained. Each spot was well spaced out from the others, which made it feel private and quiet. Overall, a great experience and a relaxing place to stay—I would definitely come again.

Jennifer goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Before you book check for a level site and ask for it to be mowed. It’s a great location and I really appreciated Jennifer letting us stay there.
