Our stay with Robert was honestly amazing! The space itself was big, spotless, and really well set up. The shower?l and toilet really good.
And the firepit area was such a vibe.
The pool was chef’s kiss — perfect for cooling off and floating around.
And the absolute stars of the place? His three adorable dogs who decided we were part of their squad and played with us the whole time. We were obsessed.
Robert himself was incredibly kind, sweet, and super attentive — the kind of host who makes everything feel easy and welcoming.

We had an awesome time camping here! Robert was very welcoming, knowledgeable and super friendly. We took our motorhome out for its first rodeo and found the site peaceful with great amenities and easy access. The pool and friendly dogs were a bonus which our kids loved. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at On the Hedge! The bathroom and shower facilities were great and clean, the property was spacious and peaceful and Robert the host was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations of the area! Highly suggest this location for your stay.

What a beautiful place to stay. i couldn't reccomend it enough !
Me and my partner stayed here 2 nights while we explored sydney and we would come back again.
Robert was a gem of a host and was more then happy to give us recommendations of places to eat and to visit. With 3 lovely resident dogs: Zoe, Max and Rusty, and the option to have a campfire, our stay was welcoming and cosy.
The facilities were clean and functioning and the grass where we pitched our tent was flat and bindi free.
If you're looking for a comfortable stay, this is 100% the place

We had a great stay. Robert is a very friendly and welcoming host with lots of information about the area and he gave us fishing line to catch yabbies! The property is beautiful, tidy and quiet. Having a toilet and shower available is amazing. The animals, especially the 3 dogs Rusty, Zoe and Max, were so nice to have around. We miss them already! 100% recommend this Hipcamp.

Great site- greeted with a sign with our name on it, a nice fire pit and lovely peaceful vibe only 15 mins-ish from Campbelltown- couldn’t believe how quiet it was!
Robert is a very friendly host, with three super lovely dogs who would love nothing more than to hang around your camp quietly all day accepting pats.
Shower and toilet is in good condition, Robert has lit up the path so you can easily find your way at night. We didn’t use our fire pit but were offered firewood, and Robert took a lot of care to make sure we had a great stay.
Genuinely will seek this spot out anytime we want to travel to Sydney- we felt very comfortable leaving our set up and attending an event in Sydney CBD, only about 55 minutes away - for a great price, a really peaceful vibe and great location this is probably the best place you could camp if you want to be close to Sydney

Beautiful place and Rob was a great host. Gave us an extension cable for the van and was always easily found if we had any issues. The area was great and the kids had a ball.

So well equipt, so helpful and just overall an incredible campsite! Almost don't want to rate it well incase we can't get booked in again! 3 resident dogs are such a treat an unbelievably well behaved, like a little slice of home. Will be booking again!

The place was amazing, plenty of space even though it was fully booked, as Robert doesn’t let the place get overcrowded.
Having the possibility to book an infrared sauna or massage onsite is a plus! And Steve, the hairy cow, is the cutest.

Robert’s place was the perfect first time camping spot for us with two kids (5&9). Robert’s hospitality is the standout, he’s so helpful and accomodating.
The amenities were great too, toilets, showers and wash facilities for those of us that have not become nomadic.
The access to the bush for short walks with the kids was ideal as they can explore while you relax.
Overall, an easy spot to try camping that’s very close to Sydney CBD and is busy enough for you to feel there’s a buzz but not crowded such that there’s no privacy.

I loved camping at Wedderburn, Rob was so nice and welcoming. His little puppies horses and cow are so cute we were in a secluded part of the property and it was wonderful. All of us had a great time and will definitely be back thank you for having us

Beautiful property - we had the campsite near the dam and it was very private. Rob was a great host and his 3 gorgeous dogs kept us company and were very friendly. Toilet facilities were clean and Rob even organised firewood for the night. Would highly recommend!

Had 3 nights here with my family. Lots of space! A great little hub to explore the local areas and day trips… the kids loved feeding the bull, horse and pony. They also loved all the cuddles from rusty and max the friendliest little dogs. Rob the host was exceptional, very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!!

We had the perfect first Sydney camping as a family at Wedderburn hideaway. Robert was an awesome host, very welcoming and friendly. He even helped us with our tent when we encontered an issue during our set up. Went out of his way to help and show us kindess.
The place itself was amazing, not only you have the wonderful nature around you, there’s also the farm animals that just really add to the great experience and ambiance of the place. Not to mention the lovely dogs running around and just being friendly.
I cant recommend the place enough wanting to have a relaxing weekend just outside the city

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend here. The site is well-maintained, peaceful, and comfortable—perfect for escaping the city and unwinding.
Evenings by the campfire, chatting and having a BBQ, were definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
We’ll definitely be back—this place is absolutely wonderful!

We stayed at Rob’s place for a night and had an amazing experience! We had so much fun—the facilities were top-notch. There were three friendly pet dogs roaming around the property, always happy for a few pats, and they kept us company while we chatted by the fire pit. They really added a warm and fun vibe to our stay.
The campsite was fantastic, with plenty of space to pitch our tents. The fire pits around the area were perfect for roasting marshmallows and having a BBQ in the evening.
We’ll definitely be back—and probably stay even longer next time!

Rob’s land is the perfect spot for an escape close to Sydney. We camped by his dam looking out into the bush. Toilet are clean and tidy. Rob is a great host very welcoming and there to help in any way he can

My friend and I decided at short notice to go here for a short camping stay, the host “ Robert “ was incredible, he made us feel welcome and even came down to the spot we were at and had a chat, he has three incredibly well behaved dogs that just hung out with us all night and we got to see his log haired highland cow.
This location is easy to get to and I highly recommend it

We had a wonderful stay! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The campsite was well spaced out from our neighbors, allowing us to really enjoy private family time. We were also lucky enough to spot a wild koala right at the campground, which was such a special experience. It became a truly memorable family trip for us. We would love to come back again!
