Basic sites in good location, walking distance to beach/shops etc so ideal for if you want to leave your vehicle at the campsite and spend the day at the beach. Free firewood was also a nice touch. A few other campers there and within view, so not super private but there was ample space between us so no issues with noise or anything.
However, it's hard not to feel ripped off at $144/night for the pleasure of merely parking on someone's land with no facilities or even a nice view. With no other options available during the long weekend, we didn't really have much choice! Just sucks that people are allowed to charge that.
The host, Andrew, was super friendly and seemed like a nice guy, but drives up and down the property pretty much all day - so it's not very private and you can't help but feel you're being kept an eye on.
Overall, it would be decent spot for somewhere peaceful to sit round the campfire and have a good sleep if the price was lower, but probably wouldn't recommend as a campsite that you spend your day at.
