Just 1 km from Anna Bay’s shops, tavern, and restaurants, Stockton Beach (Anna Bay) is a top-tier tourist destination, offering easy 4x4 access to Stockton and Birubi Beaches. Enjoy a range of activities including camel rides, horse riding, 4x4 tours, quad biking, sandboarding, golfing (including putt-putt), surfing and surf school, dolphin cruises, and much more. Only 3 km from One Mile Beach and Boat Harbour, and all other nearby beaches are just a short 20-minute drive away. At Waves 'n Ripples, there’s plenty of room for all types of vehicles – from RVs and cars to 4x4s, AWDs, and camper trailers. We can also accommodate large group bookings with multiple vehicles (5+). The property boasts stunning views in all directions, with rolling hills and a unique ridge line separating the North (Waves) and South (Ripples) sides. The North ridge is currently accessible only by 4x4s and AWDs. There are shaded areas under trees, along with open spaces for sun lovers who prefer to set up their own shelter (awnings, tents, gazebos, etc.). We limit the number of camping sites available to maintain a sustainable, peaceful, uncrowded environment respecting the land. There's plenty of space to stroll around the property with family or friends, enjoy the local wildlife, birdwatch, and take in the breathtaking sunsets over Birubi Beach. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, and you’ll quickly fall in love with Anna Bay. Please note that a fire ban is in place from September 31, 2025, to March 31, 2026, as mandated by the NSW State Government. Gas products are permitted for use. There are no toilets, running water, or power on-site, so please be prepared to bring your own supplies and take your rubbish with you, respecting the natural environment. We loved our 2 nights at the waves section right on the top of the hill. The trees and wildlife were great. Our dog loved it also. So close to Anna bay village.

Andrew greeted us upon arrival and was very accomodating for where we wanted to camp. The property had several spaces to camp And lots of shade under trees. The area was very quiet and we saw some awesome wildlife late in the afternoon and early in the morning. The property was very tidy and well kept, and Andrew made himself available to us should we have needed assistance.

The location is excellent — close to the beach, cafes, and local shops, yet it still felt peaceful and secluded. The sites are very private and well spread out across a large property, so you never feel on top of other campers. It’s a lovely balance of convenience and tranquility, and we’d happily stay again.

Waves 'n Ripples was such an amazing spot, would highly recommend 10/10. Nice and close to town and all the amazing surroundings but at the same time nice and private. Host (Andrew) was really accomodating and friendly!

Location location location. It's perfect for what we wanted. Extremely close to all the towns amenities and beach driving access. Also to explore the other bays. Andrew was the best host of any place we've stayed. Super friendly and helpful. He keeps the place well maintained. We did have some issues with extreme amounts of relentless March flies in one area. But the next night, we moved and had no issues. Shame because the previous spot was beautiful and quiet.

Very handy spot in terms of access to beach, shops and other local spots. Quiet and plenty of trees. Sandy ground so ideal to take a mat to put down and like many outdoor spots near water, mozzie repellent. Peaceful and practical :)

A great property with beautiful old growth trees. Conveniently located, close to shops and surf spots. Lots of camping sites to choose from and plenty of shade. Lots of birdlife also. We will come again. Thanks, Andrew.

We had an amazing stay at Andrew’s Hipcamp! From the moment we arrived, Andrew was a legend—super accommodating and met us at the gate. We were the only ones on site, so we enjoyed complete privacy and had the freedom to choose a lovely spot. The weather was perfect, the grass was lush and green, and overall, it was an excellent experience. We’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend it to our friends!

We loved our stay in Ripples, Anna Bay. Andrew was genuinely helpful host. The campsite itself was perfect nestled in a beautiful location with scenic views, gorgeous to stargaze in the night and very spacious site. We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be telling all our friends about it too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Andrew's communication was excellent from start to finish, he was a very welcoming host, happy to be of assistance whenever needed. Easy access for a main street in Anna Bay Our 4WD Hilux easily managed to drive to camping areas, but 2WD would struggle up and over the hill if it has been raining. Andrew I am sure would communicate this when booking etc etc. The location is a great spot to base yourself and explore all that Port Stephens has to offer. Easy drive to Nelson Bay for whale watching (highly recommend doing), Anna Bay for Sand Boarding (highly recommend doing). IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This Hipcamp has no amenities at this time it is bring your own everything, I would not consider staying here if you are expecting a toilet/ hot shower Thank you Andrew for your space and hospitality - we will be back!

Andrew's spot was awesome! Perfect for large groups, quiet and well sheltered. It is in a great location, close to town but far enough away to avoid any noise. Andrew welcomed us at the gate and checked in most days to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. A great host! We look forward to our next trip here.
