My partner and I stayed here with our dog for two nights, absolutely beautiful grassy spot right by the billabong! We had the place to ourselves and Shane was absolutely amazing. So helpful and kind, really went above and beyond. Ammenities were really good. Really good swimming and paddle boarding in the creek. It felt very private and we had the best time. Wish we stayed longer! Thank you Shane!!!

If you’re passing through or looking to unwind for a few nights in nature, this caravan park on the banks of Billabong Creek is an absolute gem. The lush grassed sites make setting up a breeze, with all the comforts from home clearly cared for showers and toilets and a nice pool to cool off in those hotter days. The shed kitchen is fantastic. Dogs are welcomed, which is always a bonus.
With a boat ramp right at your doorstep, perfect for dropping in the tinny or casting a line straight off the bank. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, and just enjoy the peaceful creekside vibe.
Kelly and Shane are wonderful hosts, warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure guests feel at home. The whole park has a relaxed, chilled atmosphere that makes it very easy to settle in.
Highly recommend this spot. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow, what a great spot! Shane was very welcoming when we arrived, leading us to our lush grassy site near the Billabong creek. Quiet and relaxing couple of days, just what we were looking for before harvest begins. 👌

Friendly welcome to the park by Owner Shane - just of the highway but no noise
Unfortunately we didn't land the big fish - he is still swimming with my hook in his mouth - ( I know it's not cod season so he woulda gone back if it was one )

What a gem!! Shane and Kelly’s hospitality was out of this world 🙂
With this being our first time taking the camper trailer out for an outing, we couldn’t have asked for a better camp site 🤗
Shane helped out with a few niggles we had with the rig and Kelly kept our wood stock filled.
The ablution facilities were immaculately clean and we loved that the shower and toilet were all like an en suite.
Really big, grassy stands - well kept.
We will definitely be back!!

What a place, lush green grass, power, dog friendly, hot showers ($1/4min)
Fire pits, plenty of room.
Less than 20min drive to Demi…great little shop in town which sells alcohol as well.
Beautiful campgrounds situated right on the creek. Plenty of fish jumping around
Shane is a cracking good host and made everyone feel so welcomed.
Will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Wanganella Creek Camp Park. It's a serene, calm and relaxing spot with exceptional toilet and shower facilities. Shane is an excellent host. he ensured we had a great stay - lush green powered site close to the creek, lights, campfire, BBQ and full kitchen. Most of us were 1st time campers and thoroughly enjoyed it. Shane maintains the place well and there are 3 lovely dogs. Highly recommended !!!!

A great stay! Such spacious campsites and a relaxing vibe by the river. Hosts were amazing! There were dogs at the neighbours that barked a lot but no fault to the site or hosts. Would go again!

We had a really awesome stay at Shane's place. It was peaceful, open, and relaxing. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. Shane went above and beyond to look after us, he came over and helped me setup my fishing rod, cut cheese to use as baits and even the next day gave us a box of worm baits. On Easter Sunday, Shane's family organised an Easter egg hunt for all the kids at the camp with plenty of toys and goodies for them. Facilities are very clean, plenty of rubbish bins that's emptied daily and even firewood is provided for the awesome camp fires. You can walk straight to the billabong on site to do your fishing or relaxing by the billabong. Thanks Shane for a great stay, have already recommended to some friends.

Beautiful location, right on the Billabong. Sites were huge, lush green grass on our drive through site.
Easter Egg hunt for the kids organised by Shane and his wife was a lot of fun for the kids.
Nothing was any trouble , firewood, fire pits, fresh water, amenities were clean, whole park was tidy.
We will definitely come back!

We had a family camping at this site. This was one of the best camping experiences for us. The hosts were very welcoming , kind and nice. The whole atmosphere is peaceful with tranquilty and you enjoy true essence of camping. The facilities are very good like clean bathroom and shower, very organised and clean kitchen with appliances and bar b q grills.There is world's largest creek Billabong few steps down the main site where you can enjoy fishing. We had amazing time. Its worth travelling to that far from melbourne . Highly recommended.

The facilities were exceptional. The camping area was beautiful as was the boat ramp great. The only downside was the adjoining properties dog barking most the night . Put us off retuning unfortunately

Beautifully maintained park, clean facilities and awesome camp kitchen, firepits with cut dried timber provided and a great creek side perfect for throwing a line or just chilling out with a beverage. We couldn’t believe we had the whole place to ourselves with not another person in sight.

Terrible Web sites for booking. $41 Per night to expensive for the middle of know where, possibly due to the $6 booking fee and get. No potable water to hook up to. This is not on the coast to be charging these amounts.

Nice quiet, green and very friendly
We loved our stay at Wanganella Hip Camp. Our hosts are so lovely and very helpful. The property was beautifully looked after, very neat with lovely green grass to camp on. The camp kitchen was very clean and the shower/toilet extremely clean which was ours alone to use. All in all we thoroughly recommend this Hip camp property for a wonderful quiet stay.
