Embrace the rustic essence of camping without the frills Situated on 29 acres of untouched bushland with excellent mobile coverage, only a 10minute drive from Tea Gardens beaches, our newly established outback retreat is a perfect farm-stay for campers to escape the crowds and reconnect with nature. We welcome self-sufficient campers who have their own toilet/shower facilities. All campers must provide portable toilets used by all their guests and leave no trace. As we are new to Hip camp we still do not offer water or electricity. We will be upgrading with time as nothing happens in a hurry here which you will feel :) Pets are more than welcome, however they must be well behaved and controlled. We do have a very friendly farm dog named Annie who everyone falls in love with (refer reviews fro reference and pics) Campfires are depending on fire restrictions. Access to the property is easy via a grated dirt road 500m off the highway which is very handy for a quick stop or stay as long as you want. Please NOTE! Adress in Google maps is accurate. For some strange reason Apple maps is not as accurate (sorry folks, I have reported it to Apple so watch this space) Please follow instructions in pics to access either Maestros or Pops paddock.

Situated to the left as you enter the property. Named after our old faithful pet, is a nice flat paddock for you to park your RV or van with plenty of birds and wildlife to look at. Our family friendly dog called Annie runs around here, she is always after pat’s or hugs, and keen for someone to through a ball or toy.

Very conveniently located and easily accessible for all. Jeda was very accommodating and a great host, supported by family and a lovely pooch named Annie. Would recommend.

It was an amazing place to stay hosts were so kind especially Annie who would come for pats each morning as we woke up or on our way back from going out. would definitely come back !

Nice and peaceful, close to Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest. Hosts are great and their dog is so friendly and doesn’t bother you if don’t want him around. Reasonable price and just off the highway so it’s handy to drop in for a night or 2.

Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to set up as a storm hit a few days prior. The area looked like a great spot to set up and stay (if it was dry) for an off grid weekend trip. The host was happy to refund. Will try my luck next time.

We booked here for 1 night as we wanted to go Tea Gardens. At $45 a night it was certainly over priced for a peace of un level ground right beside the driveway. A beautiful dog greeted us who lived at the property, she was lovely but she plonked herself under our car wheels. Hubby was just about to drive forward to level the van. Lucky I had the 2 way and could tell him to stop so we could move her on. Whilst we appreciate hip camps I do think the price should reflect the space provided.

Loved the area, so much green and nature all around. Hosts super nice, came for a little chat. Seems very private and wasn’t busy even on the long weekend. Would recommend - only thing is it’s quite close to the highway and you can hear the traffic.

Great location, just off the freeway and 15 minutes from the beach. Campsite is a well-grassed, flat paddock with some nice trees for shade. No facilities. Perfect for a one-night stopover or longer if you want to enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, etc. in the area.

We absolutely adored Annie the dog, she came over for many pats and cuddles and was very well mannered in all aspects. Was a little tricky getting there as the directions from Hipcamp maps wasn’t accurate, but jade was easy to contact and were able to understand where we were supposed to go. Nice little spot only 20 minutes from hawks nest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maestros Paddock. The property was easy to find and located a short distance from the M1 motorway. The paddock is large with plenty of space, shade and sweeping views of the surrounding bushlands. The sunsets and sunrises were magical, and we were lucky enough to have clear night skies to enjoy the stars while we sat around the fire. There’s fantastic mobile coverage which is always a bonus. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. It’s a short drive back to Tea Gardens on the Myall River. There’s a great pub there and a Coles.
