I stayed 1 night at the beginning of a WA road trip - I loved it - big paddock and great breeze after a hot day - really well maintained with excellent clean bathroom facilities and very reasonable price , just near Scotts Head - I will stay again

Noise from the Pacific Highway traffic can be heard at night, not loud, but audible in a tent. Bring your own drinking water, or means of water treatment, as Unpurified tank / rainwater is not so tasty. Some flat areas are terraced regular cut grass, with site border shrubs that are are still young, Only one shower/bathroom/toilet . As an infrequent rare camper, otherwise little comparison experience. Weather was pleasent, bit of rain at night. Local friendly dog, and young pup visitor scampered around.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Travellers Rest. It is so quiet and peaceful and the scenery is wonderful. We were able to have our dog (Westie) off the leash most of the time.
Katie and Craig were very friendly and helpful when needed.
The ensuite bathroom was great to have as a back up, it’s very clean and spacious.
We would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Travellers rest was such a good find.
It was the perfect spot to stay on my way up the coast. Close to the freeway but not close enough to hear any traffic.
The host wasn even nice enough to come meet me out the front as I didn’t arrive till after
Dark.
Highly recommend staying here

This was a great spot! We needed a quick last minute overnighter while travelling and this camp was close off the highway for us.
Big grassy area and scenic views.
There were easy directions with signs and the bathroom was clean and spacious, we felt spoilt with the amenities for camping.
Friendly dogs said hello 😀

This place was great! Facilities are top notch - the bathroom is super spacious with hot water. Can't fault the location, it's super easy to get too and the stars were spectacular.

Nice big open field on top of the hill with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Clean roomy bathroom with shower and toilet.
When you arrive you get welcomed by the cute dog.
It was a peaceful place, just the sound of the birds and the farm animals.

The place is spacious and nice for sleeping, the bathroom is large and very clean, and it has hot water. If you need anything, they'll help you. The morning is the best because you see everything green, full of life, and you feel disconnected from the city.

What a beautiful spot. Katie must be one of the nicest people, she was so accommodating and genuinely loved that our children were enjoying the pool and running wild in the paddock!
The paddock is on a hill, but that adds to the stunning view. Watching the moon rise over the hill was magical.
The facilities are next level. An amazing brand new bathroom with toilet, shower and large sink/bench top. There is a camp dishes sink for all your washing needs and of course the pool! The little things like a scrubbing brush and washing detergent at the sink make this site that extra bit amazing.
And the beautiful farm dog Molly was another huge highlight!
We can’t recommend this stop enough and hope to return with friends.

We had a lovely nights stay at Katie’s place. We were greeted on arrival by Katie (and Molly) who both made sure we were settled and orientated.
The site was comfortable and clean, with magnificent views of the countryside and the night sky. A great stop option between Brisbane and Sydney!

Overall good experience, clear instructions to find the address, felt far away from anything else! New toilet and shower block was lovely and modern (although was occasionally queuing as only 1 unit).
It wasn’t a huge plot of land therefore were quite close to other campers, although it was still quiet given it was high season. The neighbours unfortunately were noisy with TV blaring past 10pm (not the site owners fault) but did turn down when we asked. In a paddock close to cows which unfortunately meant we didn’t have the best night sleep in our tent as the cows were mooing in the small hours of the morning, as well as a barking dog (which may have been one of the other guests’). It was a bit of a struggle putting the tent up in the wind, not sure if this is because of the site being in the valley or just unlucky with the weather on the day.
Didn’t meet the owners so unable to comment on this.
Overall a convenient place to stop off for one night on a journey up or down the NSW coast.

Travellers rest was great! Plenty of room in the paddock for campers. Lovely bathroom and a little sink available. There were frogs in the sink! There was an extra toilet if the shower was being used. A lovely family camping in a van used the pill to cool off. Really peaceful and Katie was lovely. Recommend.
