The Riverside Farm Escape is a family owned cattle farm situated on the picturesque Wang Wauk River in Minimbah, Mid North Coast NSW. Our well maintained, grassy campground and RV stop provides spectacular views of the Wang Wauk River, which flows into the magnificent Wallis Lakes. The Riverside property spans 103 acres of rich farmland and has over 500 meters of river frontage, ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing, with water access to Forster / Tuncurry. A gravel boat ramp provides easy access to Wang Wauk River ideal for small boats/tinnies. The property also boasts a beautiful dam, full of blooming lilies, a favourite for the kids to kayak and swim. Surrounding natural bushland is teeming with wildlife, including wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, and vibrant native bird species. Access: Suitable for 2WD and 4WD vehicles Site Options: Powered and non-powered sites available. Non powered sites on the River front, Lily Dam and Paddock Views. RIVERSIDE SITES
Hunter (my dog) and I recently stayed on one of the riverside sites at Riverside Farm Escape and had an amazing time. The property is peaceful, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with incredible views along the Wang Wauk River. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. The riverside sites are fantastic, waking up by the water each morning and sitting around the fire pit at night made for a great escape from everyday life. Hunter absolutely loved exploring the open grassy areas and relaxing by the campsite, and it was great to find such a genuinely pet-friendly property. We saw plenty of birds and wildlife throughout our stay which added to the experience. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into creating a relaxing and welcoming place for guests. If you’re looking for a quiet riverside camping getaway, I’d highly recommend Riverside Farm Escape. Hunter and I will definitely be back.

Overall, we had a lovely time, was great for a 1 night stop over. Unfortunately the Riverside sites were quite close to the road so there is a bit of traffic noise. Also, followed the instructions and called & messaged the owner on entry and never heard back which was strange - so we just chose a site :) Not sure if they are suppose to be allocated?

Loved our river front site for the Anzac day weekend. We used the kayaks and loved the walk around the property with the furr kids and my son. Camp fire by night was very peaceful.

Great camping experience. The site was vast and although the host said it was quite full, we still had plenty of space to ourself. The host, Richard is amazing. We booked a powered site (no.15) and unfortunately did not have a lead long enough. Richard offered one to us to use. Only had a simple toilet block with shower. A queue forms at times, but generally well maintained. Water was super cold eventhough we chose to shower in the mid day.

The camp sites were all amazingly spaced out & very well maintained throughout the entire property, if we had know it would be that much room we would have only needed one site. toilet was always clean & the girls said the same for the shower. Richard was a pleasure too deal with & we had a wonderful long weekend.

It's a beautiful land with a nice pond and river access. The sites are spread apart nicely and most are very level so easy to set up on. Convenient fire pits and little adventure tracks are a nice touch. The resident geese and ducks are a fun addition. Plenty of different birds to watch if you're in to that. The land is quite flat with wide open spaces o noise does travel at night and during the day and evening you can hear the highway from certain points but that fades away. The toilets were clean but there are only two so sometimes a short wait. Also there is no hand soap included and there is a $10 fee to include toilet facilities in your package. Overall we liked our stay here and would come back. Wish we had one more night to catch a big flat head

The spot was great if a little noisy from the Pacific Highway. The biggest down fall was that it was $67 a night with no facilities. For that price I would have expected a hot shower and electricity. The toilets were also $10 extra per night which given the cost should have been included. We did know this all in advance so it wasn't a surprise. If you are camping with a second vehicle it is a pretty good deal as it is only an extra $10, but individually it is a bit pricey.

First time campers and I must say for beginners we enjoyed this sanctuary that Richard the Host who greeted and directed us to our site. Its an easy place to find and to set up your camping gears. We stayed at sute number 18, right next to the Lily Dam. Richard has also provided kayaks to the campers. Its fantastic for families as there are facilities for children to play all day long. I recommend this 100% to families who are beginners to start off at The Riverside Farm. We will be back again and with family and friends.

We camped up on the top side of the riverside camp sites and it was absolutely amazing. Great views, massive sites for bigger rigs and such a perfect spot for kids to be outdoors as what these guys have done with the place is unreal. Will definitely be back.

My wife, myself and our border collie pup stayed at The Riverside a couple of nights over the Anzac Day long weekend and were pleasantly surprised to be in a huge area by ourselves right on the banks of the river. It’s a beautiful property which is meticulously maintained and has well defined walking tracks throughout and along the river, play areas for families with kids and dogs welcome, as well as the lily dam with kayaks free to use and what looks to be brand new toilets and showers in the top camping area. (we didn’t use as we have ensuite in our caravan). We had a very relaxing weekend watching fish jumping in the river and all the birdlife of all shapes and sizes, even a brush tail possum that casually walked past as we enjoyed our fire on the first night. All the sites are well marked out and have a supplied fire pit/brake dum which was great because we forgot our own haha. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. Only small complaint would be the noise of the highway (not loud but noticeable), but it didn’t worry us we have a white noise machine for sleeping, plus side is that it’s just off the highway and easily accessible. The host Richard met us and guided us down to our spot in his side by side and was extremely friendly.

I had a motorhome and was located spot 14 which was next to the toilets not a lot of privacy and couldn’t have the back of the van doors open. `Besides that the place is amazing plenty of space lots of different sites available. The toilets get cleaned regularly during the day. Public should be more honest on paying for the facilities which are great. For those who pay thank you. Richard is always there cleaning them during the day on and off. Otherwise they should up the price and start charging everyone. Great place for your fur babies and please do the right thing on leash. Over Easter a group of people didn’t which was wrong just do the right thing and people are happy. Great for children lots to do. The scenery is great and I have recommended to other people to stay great outlook. Thank you Roslyn and Richard

Awesome group stay for Easter long weekend here at The Riverside Farm Escape! Lots of fun had exploring hidden tracks & slides, checking out the farm animals, fishing, kayaking and relaxing by the fire. Hosts Richard & Roslyn were great….our sites were at the end of the Riverside flat so we were away from other campers and had a great space for the group. We would definitely come back!

Our group of friends & family had an awesome time at The Riverside Farm Escape! We had a couple of sites at the end of the riverside flat and were far enough from other sites and campers that no one was bothered. The adult kids & little kids alike had fun exploring the little hidden tracks around and seeing the farm animals each afternoon. Fishing & kayaking in the river was also a big hit! Richard was a great host, responding quickly to any questions. All in all a great time and we’ll definitely be back!
