Our property is situated on a working apple and cherry orchard at the base of Mount Canobolas, 10 minute drive from Orange. The region has much to offer including amazing wineries and cellar doors, quaint villages with artisans shops, hot air balloon rides, waterfalls, the Arch Cave and more. Here at The Orchard visitors are welcome to pick their own fruit in season, at a cost. Please speak to your host if you are interested. There are plenty of local food and wine venues in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. Lake Canobolas is close by for swimming and there are a number of walking/ hiking trails in the beautiful Mount Canobolas National Park. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property to please keep them under control. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no fire restrictions in place. Amenities are available for campers. A shower and toilets are also available to campers.

Tracey was very hospital and keen to see you had the correct site. Site and amenities were great plus a washing machine. A great campsite with good views. Loved it and definitely would go back again

We loved our stay at the Orchard! Tracey was very welcoming and we got the pick of the sites with such a beautiful view, lots of birds, kangaroos in the morning etc. Also appreciated the great recommendations for things to do and see in Orange! Would highly recommend.

it was quiet only 1 other van close to road but not much traffic was quiet at night toilet and showers were in the fruit sorting building which were ok. we pick hip camps mainly for piece and quiet which we got and it wasn't to far from town. The De Salis winery was excellent lovely wines and very pleasant owners highly recommended.

What stood out was location, in amongst orchards and vines, vineyards next door to enjoy, and campsite set up in a wonderful green surrounded by lovely shady trees. Great having power and water available with amenities a short walk from sites. However, the amenities could be cleaner and were in need of attention. Easy drive to all the sites to see and enjoy around and in Orange.

We enjoyed the open space, the views and the quiet environment. Good having flush toilets and hot showers which were older but clean. Laundry was useful too

We loved staying here! It’s like being off grid but with the creature comforts if needed. Beautiful wineries close by, afternoon strolls around the area, we will be back!

Site 1 - The Orchard
We were fortunate enough to land a 2 night stay on this perfectly located farm. We met Gus on arrival, his local knowledge and passion for the Orange community was evident from the get go. We were encouraged to explore the Orchard, and regaled with tales of cherry picking and local trivia. We plan on taking our little ones back in December to pick cherries and explore a few more wineries. I think it may actually become a tradition for our little family!

We loved staying at the Orchard. The owners were very friendly and helpful ( actually couldn’t do enough for us) The view from our site was amazing as the fruit trees were all in bloom and we could see the vines in the distance. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Barb

Had a great time camping with Tracey on a beautiful spot. Great views over the valley and lovely blossoms on the apple trees this time of year. Tracey was lovely and the facilities perfectly adequate.

Excellent location, not too far from town and admission wineries and orchards. We also enjoyed day trips to other towns close by, proved to be a very convenient location. Electricity hook up was easy and facilities close by. Did wish the second toilet was operating on the busier days but otherwise Chris and Tracey were very helpful and welcoming.

Site 1 - The Orchard
Plenty of room. For our medium sized van. Very quiet. Great that you can have a fire. Amenities are basic but do the job. There were only 4 or 5 vans and tents when we were there so there may be some queuing if things get busy. Great location, only 10 or 15 minutes into Orange. Site 1 nestled under the huge spreading tree is the pick of the sites. TV transmitter is so close that it’s easy to tune any station——great for the Grand Final.

We really enjoyed our stay at the orchard. Great location, nice and quiet but close to everything you need. Plenty of space to set up camp and good facilities. We will definitely be back again!

Tracey gave us a warm welcome to her lovely camping area. It is well located, spacious and the amenities are great. The access to power was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this camping site!

We loved camping at The Orchard, there was more than enough room from other campers and beautiful views. Tracey was very welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. The facilities were very clean and well maintained
