The Meadow at Dunoon is located 40 mins from Byron Bay; 20 mins from Bangalow. Its the perfect escape for couples, a small group of friends or families who are seeking a relaxing and environmentally friendly Hinterland break. Our two eco-friendly domes sit on a 120 acre property providing a unique experience with a sense of space and privacy that helps you disengage from the everyday. Access to water and solar power on site. There are 2 domes available for up to 6 guests, with each dome including its own bathroom. Each dome has a queen bed and a king single. There is an an outdoor undercover space including a kitchenette area, BBQ, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, cutlery/crockery. Please note there is no oven or cooktop, only a BBQ. Important information: Linen not provided. In each dome there is a queen and king single bed. All linen needs to be bought with you. Pillows, towels, doona, bed linen & t towel PLEASE NOTE: This is not a "glamping" experience so insects and nature is a part of the experience. The dome tents are set on a concrete slab which is regularly sprayed however insects will still be around as the tents are set in the middle of the paddock so please be mindful of this. This property uses Solar Power (not connected to the grid) so please be aware of energy usage. All lights and general appliances are low energy and remain suitable for use over an extended sunless/cloudy period. If you drain the solar you will lose power and hot water. There are 2 portable fans inside the domes for hot days. To reduce the impact on hot days the small dome has a rooftop curtain that should remain closed along with the front window curtains to keep the domes cooler. You are welcome to explore the property. We do not recommend walking through long grass on the property without protective footwear as snakes are known to live in the area. We agiste cattle so you do need to close the cattle gates behind you. Please be aware the driveway to the domes is not sealed. It is a gravel driveway. In the rain it may be slippery. If your car is not suitable for gravel inclines park at the top of the driveway. There is a house on the acreage. During your stay no one will occupy the house. You have exclusive use of the property. Please view property for a detailed site description Our two eco-friendly domes sit on a 120 acre property providing a unique experience with a sense of space and privacy that helps you disengage from the everyday.
