I’m actually really glad that it worked out that we went this time of year whilst it was a little cooler. It was spot on for us. We had the perfect balance of sunshine and a little bit of rain. It was very peaceful not having anyone else around and having the entire place to ourselves. It was perfect for our nervous little dog. It was very roomy and they have provided such a great set up. You really do just need your food, your linen and towels and just yourselves.
Excellent communication from Jane throughout the whole process. We loved our experience and we would happily go back.

We loved our 3 nights for our first glamping experience. It was tough to fit everything for a family of 5 (plus a dog) into our car when you have to take linen but we managed! Note they do have 3-4 camp chairs to use which would have saved a bit of room for us.
The fridge and freezer are of decent size for an under bench style so wouldn’t need to bother with our camping fridge next time. There is a nearby general store which is also a bottle shop and sells fire wood which was handy. To have access to 2 domes for our family of five was great. The teenagers were able to have their own space. We plan to come back in winter. We stayed during an unusually hot Easter week with 30 degree days. Unfortunately there is no shade from the hot western sun of an afternoon. The shelter over the kitchen only provides shade until lunchtime and then you are in direct sunlight. Too hot to stay and domes get way too hot with little relief from the air con due to the time restriction on using the air con. We tried to venture out of an afternoon, otherwise we walked over to the other paddock and sought some relief under a large tree. That was the only negative. If you stay during the cooler weather it would be magical. Jane, the host was very helpful and responsive when we needed help or had questions. Overall a lovely place to escape the city and connect with nature. Nearby falls and dam worth a visit.

We had a really enjoyable stay overall. The domes were peaceful, unique and a great place to switch off and spend quality time with the family. The setting is beautiful and Jane was a very kind and responsive host throughout our stay.
On our first night we did lose power, but Jane was extremely helpful and guided us thoroughly over the phone while her husband talked us through resetting the inverter. We were able to get the power back up and running pretty quickly, which we really appreciated. It showed great care and support from the hosts.
One small piece of feedback was around the fire pit area. When we arrived there was quite a bit of weed overgrowth around the space. We actually took it upon ourselves to clear it out to make the area cleaner and safer, especially after a brown snake passed through the area on our first night while we were sitting around the fire pit. Being in nature you expect wildlife, but keeping that area clear would definitely make it feel safer and more comfortable for guests.
That said, Jane handled the feedback with genuine care and professionalism and even offered a goodwill refund, which was a very thoughtful gesture and not expected at all. Her hospitality and communication were greatly appreciated.
Overall we had a lovely stay and would happily return again in the future. A great spot for families wanting a peaceful nature escape with their kids 🌿🔥

We had a great time glamping in this dome, despite the weather being pretty average.
The dome is very spacious, so we did not feel cramped or boxed in like we might have hiding out from the rain in a regular size glamping tent.
On the down side there was not even a rug inside, and the outside mat was drenched, so we had to use our own towels on the floor to dry our feet coming inside.
The rain does get in a bit, which is probably why there is there is just a bare concrete floor. The skylight is a cool feature but unfortunately you can barely see through it and the panoramic window is also made of plastic, so it does hinder the views a bit, maybe more in rainy weather.
Still there is plenty of space, (a lot more than our rooftop tent!) and you have it all to yourself, so we can't really complain.

My wife’s sister came to visit from Canada, and this place was perfect for our whole family to travel together. There were no disturbances at all, and it was a private space just for our family to relax and enjoy, which we really loved.
There are many nice areas nearby, making it a great location for light sightseeing and enjoying delicious food.
Also, the amazing sunsets and stars visible from the dome tent gave us a perfect escape from the tiring city life.
If we get the chance again, we would definitely love to visit again.

Jane has created a truly unique property with her two dome tents in Dunoon. It was so much fun just being there and seeing the incredible views from the dome and the central covered kitchen / lounge area. The sunsets are amazing! After camping for over a week prior to getting to the domes, it was so luxurious being able to have a proper shower, flushing toilet and comfy bed and huge couch to savour the evening skies. Really interesting and unique place. ❤️

The view from the domes was excellent with great sunset views. The domes were clean with good amenities. The kitchen was great with fridge and freezer and great fire pit.

Absolutely loved our stay! The domes were stunning – super spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly well equipped - as was the amazing kitchen outdoor kitchen. Private and peaceful with gorgeous views, yet still in a perfect location. Couldn’t ask for more!

We had a wonderful stay at The Meadow! The accommodation is absolutely beautiful and truly unique — waking up inside the dome with the marvelous view of the open meadow right outside was such a special experience. Watching the sunset from the dome was simply breathtaking — the whole area lights up in warm, golden tones, making it feel like you’re in your own private slice of nature.
The dome is thoughtfully set up with all the comforts you need, including a very comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. There are two domes and each dome has toilet and shower. Despite experiencing severe windy weather during our stay, we felt completely safe and secure inside, which really shows how well-constructed the dome is.
The kitchen area is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need — BBQ grill, plates, cups, cutlery — making it easy to cook and enjoy meals without missing the views.
The hosts were absolutely lovely, very responsive, and genuinely cared about our comfort. When the solar power was affected by the extreme weather, they handled it with generosity and offered compensation, which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, The Meadow is the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and thoughtful hospitality. The views, especially at sunset, are unforgettable. Highly recommended for a peaceful, scenic, and unique glamping experience!

Great spot for exploring the Byron Bay hinterland. Glamping domes with hot water, showers, and flushing toilets. Gazebo sited between the 2 domes has a kitchen sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, Weber BBQ/grill, and under bench fridge and freezer units. Views of picturesque, rolling hinterland hills are a bonus!
Highly recommend for an easy glamping trip where you don't need to bring a heap of gear - just clothes, food, linen, blankets, and towels. Beware, don't forget pillows as they are not supplied!

We had an incredible stay in the hinterland inside the dome tents! From the moment we booked, Jane was exceptionally clear and helpful with her instructions, making our arrival and stay seamless. The tents themselves were beautifully set up.
One of the highlights was the stunning sunset—sitting outside the tents, we had an unobstructed view of the sky. Stargazers are in for a treat, we caught a few shooting stars. It was truly breathtaking and one of the most peaceful moments of our trip.
Thank you, Jane, for providing such a memorable and unique experience. We can't wait to come back!

Really good view and good walk around the property. And an area to play a bit of soccer with my siblings.
Not far from a little bakery with the best pies me and my siblings have ever had.
Very calming and the owner is very nice.

I loved glamping in this place. The views were amazing. Fully equipped kitchen helped a lot keep food fresh and cook easily. The two dome tents provided huge and comfortable room for my family and friends. The best thing was there is no other people in the land.
