Loved it. Really nice spot, big open field that’s completely fenced which was great for the dogs. Owners left lots of good wood and a big fire pit, and dropped off fresh eggs in the morning for our group. Great spot for a decent sized group. The site is pretty close to their house but felt pretty private regardless. Would recommend and will come back.

Excellent overnight stop for us. We left from Sydney at about 4pm and were here by 630. Firewood was a lovely addition. Thanks, we will be back.

Another great stay at End of the Road campsite. A lovely peaceful and private spot. Cathy and Steve are very welcoming and helpful. We love it here and will be back again soon.

Always a great spot to visit for a quick getaway. Great hosts, firewood provided. Next to bush land with fire trails that lead down to river for those that like hiking. The more we go the more we enjoy it. Thanks again Steve and Cath. Kind regards Chevy.

Lovely cleared area, peaceful little spot not far from Sydney with plenty of firewood provided and we were even spoilt by Steve delivering us farm fresh eggs to eat.

Stunning skies, complete privacy and friendly hosts made this a Christmas to remember. We were a little nervous about our caravan on the long dirt road in, but all was fine and we got in and out easily.

The End of the Road is a super-nice spot. Located near Balmoral in the Southern Highlands area of NSW, surrounded by bush with a level, large camp site. Easy access and lots of space. Peaceful and relaxing. Telstra comms good if required. Lots of generously provided firewood and containerised water. The hosts even kindly provided us with fresh eggs - just right for breakfast, thank you Steve and Cathy. Plenty of trails to hike and explore. This a real gem of a spot and well worth camping at. Be self-sufficient with water, food and toilet. Nothing must be left on site. We really enjoyed the solitude and relaxation at this site, whilst being only a couple of hours from Sydney and intend to return in the not too distant future. We highly recommend for well-equipped campers.

A beautiful little hideaway. 11mins to a tasty chinese takeaway (if you forgot to bring dinner). Host gave us fresh eggs for breaky. A great stay and looking forward to the hut being completed, will be an awesome little get away. The doggos had a great time, and did the walk down to the creek.

So close, yet so far! A great camp for a quick getaway for us Sydney southsiders. Cathy + Steve's property offers quiet seclusion, an easy drive to Mittgagong, Bowral if needed, or just chill around the fire pit and enjoy the bushland. Farm fresh eggs, and firewood too. Overall, a wonderful experience from friendly, helpful hosts. Thanks - Murray

A nice private spot, the nearest house would be over 100 meters away with a few trees and shrubs between. Firewood, kindling and starters were available as well as some water

We enjoyed our stay, quiet and private spot, fresh water and firewood supplied, Cathy and Steve are great hosts and brought us fresh eggs in the morning. Located close to wineries and other attractions, we look forward to our next visit.

Our second time here and enjoyed it as much as the first. Cathy and Steve are great hosts, being there if you need them but not in any way intrusive. Very peaceful and relaxing place to spend a long weekend.

Really enjoyed our weekend here. Plenty of space and nice and peaceful, large fire pit with lots of firewood supplied. Fresh eggs delivered on our first morning. Cathy was very attentive with her responses to my messages. We hope to be back visiting again soon.

What a beautiful spot at Cathy's, the peace and quiet was a welcome break for us and our kids. Our dog had an amazing time and we spent 4 days relaxing and visiting nearby waterholes and creeks. Very accommodating hosts, fresh eggs delivered for breakfast and am enclosed paddock to ourselves. We'll definitely be back.

Cathy and Steve, really looked after us with eggs, extra firewood and friendly chat. Enjoyed the quiet, the stars and fires at night. Dog loved the field. Good walk to a beautiful creek too. Definitely be going back.

Tucked away at the end of an unsurfaced road, manageable without 4wd - but with care as it is quite rutted in a few spots. Two nice dry level grassy campsites, very spacious. Not much shade so awning needed. Nice walks into the adjacent state forest. Ample firewood - the hosts are very welcoming!

The campsite is basically a small scrubby paddock that is shared . The top paddock is the back section and the bottom paddock the front . The road in was very rutted ( it has been raining a lot to be fair ) Encroaching scrub would damage a vehicle any wider than our sprinter . The caravan staying at the same time lost all their water due to the cut branches left lying around . Very expensive campsite , a long way from anywhere . At least the other campers were a quiet couple . Sorry but there is not really anything positive to say .

The hosts could not be more helpful and welcoming.
They are new to Hipcamp and they have on offer a newly cleared fenced paddock with fire pits, fire wood, a small amount of potable water for a coffee or tea, but not to fill your tanks.
Peaceful, off the highway but a pretty convenient location for those who want to rest after going through Sydney, or before you head north through Sydney
Be prepared for a few k’s of dirt to get to the spot, but it’s an easy drive
With a few tweaks Cathy and Steve will have a really good spot.

the hosts were great really nice people met us with fresh eggs
Plenty of room for the dogs to run around freely to meet the horse
