Find us on Instagram! @Tarrawingeefarm Tarrawingee Farm is a destination wedding venue during peak seasons and allows campers access throughout winter. It features a carefully curated 2.5-hectare garden with a large pond and fountain and offers an unforgettable experience for those seeking the ultimate outdoor experience or a gardeners getaway. Meander through the orchard or take the time to check the eggs and feed the chooks. The 40 acre property is very private and secluded from the hustle and bustle of town, fully encased by the mehi river and nestled amongst wheat fields and grassed paddocks. Tarrawingee Farm is located just 10 minutes from town, a great home base to unhitch the van and explore all that Moree has to offer. A quick trip to the local hot artesian baths will have you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Tarrawingee Farm offers multiple camp sites for tents and vans with powered sites available. Kangaroos, possums, native birds and an array of parrots frequent the property. Take the opportunity to unplug with limited phone service. Purpose built luxury toilet facilities are on-site however there are no shower facilities available. Campfires are permitted in select areas. Firewood can be foraged from fallen branches on the property. Fishing is permitted on-site, please ensure all bait, hooks and lines are accounted for and disposed of appropriately to help protect our animals. Tarrawingee farm is home to our 13 year old cattle dog "Macka" and his kelpie offsider "Ollie" both dogs are friendly and will occasionally join you to sit by the fire. With this in mind socialised pets are welcome, but must be tied up or caged at night.

Riverside is a slightly sloped grassed area on the secluded banks of the mehi river perfect for fishing. Book one site per vehicle. 4wd access only, suitable for rooftop campers and tents. Located within walking distance to the toilet block. This site is closed during periods of wet weather due to sloping access. Campers on site will be relocated to higher ground near the garden. Mosquito Repellent may be required seasonally. Please ensure you pack some just in case.

Unpowered sites - One Site Per Vehicle All guests to call or text 0436011970 prior to arrival so that we can greet you onsite. When entering the property follow the main drive, turning right at the first intersection near the powerpole. Follow this driveway around to where you will see the toilet block and catering shed for check ins. Grassland camping is well suited to both caravans and tents. Overlooking the gumtrees and wheat paddocks, frequented by kangaroos and emus. One Van per site. You are welcome to book multiple sites and camp together.

Gardens are great and very well maintained. Caravan sites are not so good being on the gravel carpark or in the close by paddock. Be great if some of the creekside land was mowed and made available. Safe and secure and Casey was a great host

Quiet, peaceful place to stay. 2 very friendly dogs visited several times, birdlife was amazing, plenty of space, lovely sunset. Casey was a friendly and helpful host. Toilets were a fair distance from the grass area, fortunately I had my own facility.

Great place to set up your tents and have a lovely weekend. The hospitality is amazing and the two dogs are very friendly. And they have one of the cleanest restrooms I have seen on a camping area. Had an unforgettable experience!

Tarrawingee Farm is such a stunning property. I'm so glad they have joined Hipcamp and allowing travelers such as myself access to such a beautiful site. Casey is very welcoming and helpful. Casey's hospitality included being offered fresh citrus from the tree and chook eggs for breakfast. A beautiful walk around the property with its' stunning gum trees and tranquil grounds, made for a great start to the day prior to heading out on my onward journey. The drive from town is only 10-15minutes and the roads are good with clear signage.

The grasslands was a lovely quiet flat spot perfect for tents. A short walk through the gardens or along the tree lined driveway to fancy flushing toilets. Casey and family were great hosts bringing over a fire pit and some wood for our campfire, and even Easter eggs from the cutest little Easter bunny. Absolutely recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot in the area. Do pack the mossie spray though.

Stayed at Tarrawingee Farm last night and was very impressed with this peaceful Hipcamp. The property is as described by Casey with a beautiful large garden where the powered site is situated with a new luxurious toilet block. There is a large grassed area by the river which is magic spot for campers who don’t require power. Tarrawingee Farm is very private and is equally the quietest place we have ever stayed at. Casey our host was very helpful, the dogs very friendly, and we highly recommend this Hipcamp.
