Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were other campers, however so spread out that we felt we had it to ourselves. Well maintained grassed areas. On the doorstep to Sussex Inlet and Swan Lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at So Much Grass. Lynn the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Only a short drive to local shops and beaches.

BE VERY CAREFUL! The site states it has no amenities (basically a field), and states only allows check in after 2pm but before 5pm 'not to inconvenience neighbours' (although it's right next to a busy main road with constant traffic) - a 3 hour window! We had no signal camping in the bush so couldn't send our arrival time (22:00 - just to quickly put a pop up tent up for the night). We arrived and there was a locked gate preventing us from getting in. We received a message from the owner to stay in a rest area up the road instead. We were 4 people in a very full car and had to sleep in the car in the rain. No happy camper spirit, very inflexible.

We had an amazing 5-night camping stay at Too Much Grass in Sussex Inlet and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The property was spotless, well set up, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing camping experience. The location is perfect – peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet still close enough to shops, the inlet, and great spots to explore.
The host was absolutely awesome — friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, which made the stay even better. You can really tell a lot of care goes into the property.
It was the ideal place to unwind, whether enjoying quiet mornings or relaxing evenings after a day out. We left feeling refreshed and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed Sussex Inlet camping escape.

The place is great if you looking for a base camp to explore Sussex inlet and surrounding areas. No amenities. Our set up was about 18m long a 22 foot family van towed by a big Ute. The 2 gates are a bit tight but still able to get the lager set ups in. It’s free camping so no allocated spots. We would definitely come back again it’s a good spot. The host was great we had some issue and wasn’t able to get there on the first day and they fixed it all up and refunded the night. Definitely let the host know a time if your in the bigger vans because you need gates to be open before you get there.

Loved the space and the quiet area that they have here. Feels like you are in the bush. Great spot for a night stop on our way down the coast. Easy communication & lovely hosts. Will absolutely return on our next trip up the coast.

Marks place was extremely nice. The camping areas were very spacious and there was plenty of privacy from other campers. The goats in the field over were fun to go and say hi to aswell!

We had a lovely time at So Much Grass. It was our very first stop on our lap of Aus. It’s lovely and quiet, lots of space to choose your preferred setup. Close by to Sussex Inlet town but then when you’re there feels like there’s nothing around at all. Would recommend. Thanks for having us!

We loved camping at Mark's property. There was a huge amount of space to choose from and the grass was kept well maintained, so the kids could run around and play. The goats next door kept our kids entertained. We stayed for four nights and there were only a couple of other campers on the property during our stay. However, they were quite a distance away so the place felt very private. Would definitely recommend this camp.

So Much Grass is a nice & quiet spot, very basic- no amenities but a beautiful peaceful feel. The hosts Lynn & Mark very really good at communicating, answering any questions I had & welcoming us on arrival. While we were there, mother nature decided to dump a good 50mm on the area, so that made getting out a tad tricky, but it was a very isolated weather event. Otherwise our stay was amazing.

Quiet, secluded but you feel safe, room galore, shade if you want it. Close to Sussex Inlet and about 25 mins from Huskisson.
Basically a couple of nice paddocks with grass cut for campsites in several areas. $60 for 2 people a bit on pricey side, but it was Easter.
Mark's mum Lynn looked after us very well.

It is exactly as described. In a paddock surrounded by bushes and trees. Private and quiet with the opportunity to have dogs off lead and to go for walks.
Close enough to Sussex Inlet village to go for a short drive and grab supplies or play in the water somewhere.

Mark and Lynne gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. We loved the privacy of the spot, no one in sight and beautiful views of the nature around. Land was relatively flat and easy to navigate. Perfectly situated for loads of great sightseeing around the area. Will definitely be back on our next trip down South.

This is a wonderful campsite for self sufficient set ups. The location is ideal to explore the area and the price is also great compared to other places around the at cost an arm and a leg.
The site is expansive and there are beautiful smaller trees that provide lovely shade and privacy. We had a couple of additional campers but didn’t even see them or have them in proximity because of the lovely setting they have.
The hosts Lynn and son Mark with his daughter were really lovely and welcoming. The little girl came to say hi too and met and played with our daughters. She is a lovely and a kind girl. Our girls wished we could have stayed longer!
We will be looking forward to coming back one day!!!

A fantastic place to stay! There are so many private spots on the property to choose from, each nestled among the trees and surrounded by nature. It’s the perfect place to unwind, wake up to the bird calls, and stargaze at night. Not too far from Sussex Inlet town and places to explore. .The property feels serene and secluded, well-maintained and easy to navigate.
The host was absolutely lovely—friendly, welcoming, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in nature!

This place was amazing. Just 6 minutes from Sussex inlet main town! Plenty of shade and plenty of room! We are visiting friends camped like sardines in the caravan park and look forward to coming back to camp. It’s so private with zero road noise. Dogs absolutely love it. We want our friends to come here! The paddock is green and mowed. Hosts are fabulous.
