Solitary Islands Farm is a wonderful place for nature enthusiasts and campers to experience the beauty of the Mid-North Coast region. Matthew’s campsites were perfect for the long weekend. Had a massive area just to ourselves in the middle of a forest and super close to the beach. Will be coming again for sure!

We loved everything about camping at Matthew’s. Location is everything, very close to beach & mullaway store, bike trails and bells National park for mountain biking. Communication was great, property was well signed and drinking water provided was very much appreciated.

Solitary Islands Farm was the perfect spot for us, we had a group of 8 and there was so much space for our tents and setup, short walk to multiple beaches, and a beautiful quiet property even with multiple other campers . Thanks Matthew!

Great dog beach walking distance from campsite. Having water available from a tap was an added bonus. Not far from the highway so it worked well for a stop over night for us.

Matt was very easy to communicate with and quick with replies when booking. Nice quiet area with plenty of space. Short walk to the beach. Great breeze and lots of shade. We booked an extra 2 nights.

Solitary Islands Farm
The location of Solitary Islands Farm is truly ideal to act as a basecamp for exploring the Mid-North and Coffs Coast areas. We camped in Zone 3 which was gorgeous and tucked away up hill amongst some gum trees. Each zone has up to 2 sets of campers with not a huge amount of space between setups leading to only one noisy night when fellow campers didn't arrive quietly after dark - given this was during peak season it's absolutely not a complaint. Furthermore, Matt is awesome and very helpful and responds quickly and professionally to any concerns. All in all, for a self sufficient crew, this location is hard to beat for its versatility, easy walking distance to local beaches and relaxing vibe. I would absolutely recommend this campsite for anyone wanting a relaxing and quiet getaway amongst the gums or to use as a basecamp for a Mid-North coast adventure.

We had a great two night stay on Matt’s beautiful property. The location is absolutely amazing, being so close to the beach. Campsite are set out really well with clear signs and mowed areas.

Overall the experience was good. Host Matthew was great, communicative and accurate with information. The camp at Solitary Farm is in the middle of bushland and was as expected. We were in Zone 2 It would perhaps be improved by a little judicious levelling of some spaces, so that capervans and tents could have sites a little bit more level. Overall though, it was a good night and experience.

We loved camping there. First 5 nights we had the place to ourselves and even when other people arrived we still had a fare bit of privacy and room. Matthew was great with communication and provided plenty of water. Close to many beaches and easy drive to Coffs. Our favourite beach for swimming was Arrawarra Beach. Nice safe beach and good for kids. Arrawarra Rest Area has a dump point if you need to empty a toilet. Not 2 far away. Thanks Matthew for a lovely week camping

My family (2 adults + 3 kids) stayed here with our Jayco Journey outback. The access was easy, the site was slashed and almost level. Matthew the host was very prompt in replying to any questions. He met us with a tub of drinking water and was so friendly. The site is quiet and amongst beautiful trees, a dam and lots of kangaroos. We went for a walk to the nearby creek and we spent the days at a little secret beach - Cabins beach, which was recommended by Matthew. We will definitely be back 😁
