Surrounded by the Tuross River, Bumbo Creek, Bumbo Lake, and State Forest, this is the ideal place for the outdoor adventurer or those who enjoy the tranquillity of relaxing by the water. Riverview Farm is a working dairy farm on Bumbo Road, Bodalla, NSW. A 20-minute drive will take you to Moruya in the north and Narooma in the south, both worthy day trips. There are no amenities here, campers must be self-contained and leave no trace. Your four-legged friends are welcome too! Directions to the farm are as follows. Turn onto Bumbo Road, Bodalla. After crossing the second cattle grid on Bumbo Road, keep left (following the river around). At the T-intersection turn left over Mick's Bridge and you are now on Riverview Farm.

Drive into this beautiful camping area on the Tuross River. It is a large open paddock with plenty of room for the group to spread out. With easy access to a sandy beach it is a great area to swim, canoe and paddle board from and is a fantastic spot for fishing. It is a lovely area and one of the favourite camping spots on the farm. Sites are self-contained so please ensure your setup is self-sufficient, with your own camp toilet and you leave not trace when you go. The terrain is level but grassy so 4wds are recommended. Well behaved dogs are welcome too but please pick up after them and keep them under control.

This camp site is situated on the grassy banks of the Tuross River. It is a shady paddock with plenty of room for the group to spread out. You are welcome to set up where you like in the paddock but overlooking the river would be our recommendation. Access to the River is difficult at this site. There is now access to Bumbo Creek and the Tuross River at the Bridge as you enter the farm. There is a large grassy area where you can park, picnic, fish and launch kayaks and paddle boards if you want to get in the water easily. Sites are self-contained so please ensure your setup is self-sufficient, with your own camp toilet, and you leave no trace when you go. The terrain is level but grassy so 4wd is recommended.

This is a lovely site on the banks of the Tuross River. The banks are grassy but steep so no access to the river from here. But if you want to enjoy relaxing while overlooking the river then this is your spot. There is now access to Bumbo Creek and the Tuross River at the Bridge as you enter the farm. There is a large grassy area where you can park, picnic, fish and launch kayaks and paddle boards if you want to get in the water easily. There is another group visible 100 metres up the river. Sites are self-contained so please ensure your set up is self-sufficient, with your own camp toilet, and you leave no trace when you go! The terrain is level, but grassy, so 4wds are recommended. Well behaved dogs are welcome too, but please pick up after them and keep them under control.

Another great camp at Churches Point with hubby and dog.If it was not for the damn flies at this time of year it would have been a 100% camping visit.Fishing in the Tuross River is great. A must is a visit to Bodalla Dairy.I held back and only bought 5 cheeses 🧀 😀.Great tasting cheese with Native ingredients. My favourite....all of them

This was a lovely campsite with great access to the river. We enjoyed kayaking on the river as well as the fire pit at night. This is an easily accessible site with an open grass paddock for the children to ride their bikes. It was also easy distance to the ocean and to Bodella. We loved our time there.

Had a large group that camped at Church Point and basically had the whole site to ourselves with no one around or near us for a good 1km or so. Really good views and a beautiful spot to go camping. The hosts were super accommodating and helped us enjoy a fantastic weekend

The spot Sharon and Darren put us on was beautiful. It was quiet except for birds chirping and the occasional cow mooing. Highly recommend for families and quiet couples getaways too.

I have stayed here many times and each time it is perfect. extremely large area, great access to the little beachy river and great fishing. So peaceful and always kept clean. A gem of a place.

Thank you for sharing a patch of your lovely property. Ha ha have a dog roller, few cow pats but managed with the gate at Church Point. Great beach on low tide for fishing, no luck this weekend with the catch bit windy. Paddock to yourself amazing privacy, fire and stars no lights to be seen at night. Just perfect for a quick escape and switch off. Watched the cows walk up for milking, beautiful and green. Not far from Dalmeny or Moruya to sort the toilet.

A beautiful dairy farm property in a beautiful hinterland area. Minutes away from the cute village of Bodalla, which is handy for food and a pub. Darren met me, showed me my site and visited for a chat the next day, a really nice bloke. The site was spacious and near access to the oak lined Tuross river. My only concern and no fault of the site really, was that the river was difficult to access with my large canoe; a kayak would be fine. However I enjoyed my stay and would return with a different approach to fishing. Thanks Darren and Sharon

Tuross River Camp at Riverview
It's peaceful... no one travelling past your camp, no one walking through your camp. Its your own paddock to relax in, secure knowing no prying eyes looking over your equipment, allowing you to safely explore surrounding areas safe in the knowledge your gear will still be there when you return. Sharon was cheerful and friendly and guided us to our site and took the time to explain where the best places to access the river. The site is reasonably flat and an easy set up , we had a resident possum in the old dead tree that would come out at dusk and look us over before climbing through the trees foraging for the night. Will visit again and try another site.

Tent camping at the site was wonderful. Very flat site, private and heaps of space. Perfect site to fish from but we didn’t have much luck. Can’t wait to come back!

Large private camp area on the edge of Bumbo Creek. Easy access to the creek but it can be tricky on low tide as the base is quite muddy, but access near the bridge is available too. The sites were flat and easy to setup with a fire pit for a camp fire at iigyt to wnjoybyhe clear stary nights.

Bumbo Creek Camp at Riverview
We had an amazing two night here at Bumbo Creek. The camp area was massive with plenty of room to spread out and was presented neatly. The property provides a wonderful place to base yourself in order to explore everything the local area had to offer. We enjoyed spending a day out at Tuross Head and enjoyed lunch at the local pub, plenty to see and do in Tuross Head, and the surf was pumping. We also got out to Bodalla and indulged in the cheese melt at the dairy shed, picked up some locally made chocolate and ice cream as well. All in all, a beautiful area and a fantastic place to stay.

Great spot by the river. Plenty of fish in the river even though I had no luck catching them. I solo camped and felt completely safe here. Has a small firepit. Fairly close to lots of beaches, Bodalla Dairy and Narooma MTB trails. Was a great spot for a combo of MTB, kayak fishing and general sightseeing adventures. I would recommend and will be back.

Church Point camp site is a great place to chill and relax. Near level large site with good access to Tuross River for swimming and fishing. Close to Bodalla for supplies.
