Riveroak Farm - Beach Site
Cracking location. Kids had a great time fishing and playing in the river.
The property owners were a pleasure to deal with and organised some fire wood for us.
We will be back :)

Riveroak Farm - Beach Site
Very private. Only two sites which are approx 200m apart. Right on the Fish river on a lovely location. Horses came down to the river and were very friendly. Safe swimming and some lovely cascades. Beautiful starry skies.

Beautiful spot on the river. Beach site has the nicest river access but also to the left just down you also have some rapids. Horses visited in the afternoon for a lovely swim. Yes on a farm and have to expect not to have manicured grass area for camping, but probably the length where it needed to be cut. Also take arrogated for flies (it was hot and a farm so everywhere). Was a gorgeous location and the singing birds everyday and the cattle and sheep across the river made it feel like you were worlds away. Loved our stay

Beautiful place by the river. I was on my own and wanted it to be secluded. And i got that in spades. Will bring the family back here for sure

A really spacious, flat camping site with plenty of space for a group. No problems with 3 large camper trailers and families. The river was great for a splash and cool down. Kids really loved seeing the horses visit each afternoon. Vanessa was lovely and a great host. Will definitely be planning a return visit.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Cannot fault anything about this Hipcamp. Owners were lovely, land is stunning and the river was so good. No reception was the best part.

We have camped at many places, but out of all the Hipcamps we’ve visited, RiverOak Farm would have to be one of our favourites.
The sites are well maintained, perfectly set along the river, and with only two campsites available, it creates the ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing escape.
We loved the afternoon visits from the resident horses, and the friendly dogs welcomed us at the gate after our day trips was so nice.
Vanessa, the host, was warm and welcoming.
Thank you, Vanessa, for sharing your property with us, we will definitely be back!

Easy to follow instructions through the property down to the campsite. Access was easy even though there was some rain about. The site was clean and spacious. Access to the river is also easy. There was no one at the other site so we had the river to ourselves. Although you can see the road there's virtually no noise from it. We did hear the country train a few times from over the hill but it's not too bad. It was a good place, close to Sydney for a quick and easy weekend camp.

Awesome campsite on the banks of the beautiful Fish River. Easy to follow directions to the campsite we had booked. Plenty of wildlife and the sounds of the rapids beside our campsite was just the time away we needed. Highly recommended 👍

We stayed 2 nights.It was exactly what we all needed.It was so peaceful.You could hear the birds singing, cow's mooing across the river, and the owners horses came down past our camp each evening, they had a drink from the river, then galloped back home.It was so lovely to see .Vanessa was very helpful and friendly.We had a great weekend, and will definately be back again.

Riveroak Farm - Beach Site
First time Hipcamp experience for us was nothing short of amazing. Directions to the campsite were very clear and easily accessible. The horses are friendly, cool and didn’t disturb us. They did provide us with entertainment galloping up and down the paddock. The river, the ducks, the cows from across the river, the views are all spectacular. It rained, It was cold but even our 2 x 18 year old daughters asked when can we come back. What a beautiful piece of this great country.

This is a beautiful location, right on the Fish River. The hosts are very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were looked after. It is quiet and access to the river for swimming, kayaking or fishing is very good. Great spot for a family.

As advertised the views are lovely and the property is quiet with your only fellow campers some considerable distance away. Three days spent listening and watching the bubbling brook adjacent to the campsite, the sounds of cows in the morning and my own beagle who thoroughly enjoyed himself. Highly recommend.

Site was nice and flat and well kept. The short 15m walk to the rapids was easy to access and the horses that came down to say hi a few times a day was exciting for the kids. The night sky though!! Wow.

First time there. Nice and peaceful. Only 2 campgrounds that are a decent distance from each other. Nice and flat campgrounds, very clean and maintained. I would go there again and would recommend for others. Thank you :)

Riveroak Farm - Rapids Campsite
What a fantastic place Riveroak Farm - Rapids Campsite is. We were eagerly greeted at the gate by the 3 resident Guard Dachshunds who approved our entry. Thru the gate to the left where we were immediately surrounded by 6 very friendly horses, all of who thought the grass was much greener in the laneway outside their paddock. Many thanks to Nick who helped us through. We spent 4 days camped there while exploring the surrounding Bathurst Oberon region. The campsite is a long strip of the bottom paddock bordered on one side by the Fish River and it's gentle flowing rapids, (which our Golden Retriever absolutely loved) and behind was the large paddock which housed the horses. The campsite is situated at the bottom of the property so the noise from the road was barely noticeable. The Beach campsite is about 100m down from the Rapids so there is plenty of room. We loved camping here, very quiet and serine. I would defiantly recommend it.

Fabulous & serene location. We camped right near the fresh water Rockpool. Big clear sky the night we stayed with all the stars shining so bright.
Host Vanessa and her family were very friendly.
Gorgeous friendly dogs onsite.

One of the best camp sites I've been too. Huge space, well apart from the other camping spot. Campsites we very well kept. Great quiet area, with plenty of privacy and your own entry point to the river. River was perfect for a swim. Super friendly horses greeted us at entry. Will definitely be back!
