This was a great location for us near the river and close to a dog friendly beach. The site itself was nice and flat and no one else around.

Its a great location but it's close to the road and is a raised grave pit. I would drop the price a little and be a bit more honest with your description

Overall a very basic stay. Wouldn’t stay any longer than a couple of nights . Ad says to ring owner when arrived however no one answered or replied for 6 hours.

We spent a couple of nights here. We thought it was a little expensive for what you got. You have to cross a road to get to river and road is very busy during the day.

Nice spot close to river for boating and fishing. Catch the cable ferry for a change into Ballina.

We loved this camp as base to explore this region of the coast lots to see and do in a 30min radius. Bonus being right on the river for that afternoon fish 🎣

The site was freshly mown and provided ample room for our group of five. Was very handy and Paul gave clear directions prior to and upon arrival. Was nice to look out over the river and do some fishing with the kids as well. Thanks!

Site 2 - Riverdell Farm Shed
Stayed at site 2 in front of the shed. Great location in Ballina right near the river. The shed and sugar cane shielded us from the wind and it was nice and quiet. Great rates and friendly host. Only challenge was the slant possibly due to a lot of recent rain and the black ants so pack your big spray.

Honestly don’t know how this place had so many 5 star reviews. We camped down the back in the apparent “peaceful” section. Was nothing peaceful about it! There was a creek of stagnant water and infestation of mozzies all day! They decided to mow the lawn at 5:30pm on first night spraying our swags and cars in grass. And couldn’t even get out of the driveway due to cars constantly blocking the entrance. 0/10 do not recommend this place at all.

Nice little secluded spot that was tucked away amongst the cane fields.. when we were there it was very windy. The sugar cane and the shed provided a little protection from the wind. was about a 200m walk down to the river. . We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

We loved camping on Paul’s land right opposite the river and so near to the beach and beautiful Ballina. Paul was a very accommodating host. Would definitely recommend!

Riverdell Farm is located a short drive out of Ballina, in a quiet area nestled along the Richmond river. A great base camp to explore surrounding areas like Byron Bay and Lennox Heads. We were the only campers/caravaners but there is so much space for all to spread out and enjoy. Unfortunately NSW turned on some pretty crazy cyclonic winds and rain, but we were safe and thankfully didn’t blow away haha. Was a little tricky to find our camp spot, but Paul was quick to call and help us out. All in all a lovely spot for a couple of days..

The site was to close to the road, patches of grass then dirt , it was like staying in someone's front yard . Over priced for the site. Could have stayed on the side of the road and saved some money.. needs a lot of TLC before it's open for camping.

Site 4 Riverdell Farm
We enjoyed camping at Riverdell Farm. We camped in an open paddock with no shade and it gets extremely windy of an afternoon and evening. Close to the Richmond River which was handy for an afternoon fish. There were plenty of bream and lots of catfish. The road was also very close so not much privacy and traffic noise was prevalent all through the night. No fire pit so we were thankful that we had our own, although the wind made it hard to have one. We did day trips to Evans Head and Pottsville which are both lovely spots!

We loved this spot. The host are fantastic and were very helpful and accommodating. We fished every day and caught a variety of fish. The kids loved it, the camping area was lovely and green and freshly mowed. 10/10. Thanks Paul and team.

Great location! Great sceneries and plenty of spots to set up camp! Even held up ok in torrential downpour before we got there! Favourite thing was how close the water is for a cheeky fish!
