Camp on the Murrumbidgee River with 300m of total river frontage, giving you plenty of room to spread out among the River Red Gums. Flat campsites provide easy access, with a gentle slope down to the water. Maximum 10 campers. The 15-acre camping area is part of a mixed-farming property (1,500 acres) and has easy access for campervans. The site is 8–10 minutes from Gundagai. A canoer’s paradise! Put your canoe in a few kilometres upstream and finish at the campsite, or simply enjoy the solitude around the fire. A scenic drive following the Murrumbidgee and Tumut Rivers can be taken as an alternative route to Tumut or Gundagai. The site can be used as a base camp for fishing, wineries, bushwalking, and ski fields. There is free firewood for campfires. Friendly, well-controlled pets are welcome, as long as they don’t disturb other campers. Please be mindful that cattle and sheep may be grazing nearby. Children must be supervised at all times, as the river can be fast-moving and become deep quickly. There may also be snakes in the area from time to time. Murrumbidgee water should be boiled, or please bring your own. There are no toilets at the site, and all rubbish should be taken with you. The property owner lives nearby and is available if assistance is needed.Camp on Murrumbidgee River, total river frontage is 300m, so room to spread out amongst the River Red Gums.
