Beautiful mostly level land in Crabbes Creek. Only 1km to The Northern Rivers Rail Trail, 8 minutes to the closest beach, 5 minutes to Byron Shire, 14 minutes to Byron Blues Festival, 23 minutes to Tweed Regional Art Gallery, 14 minutes to Brunswick Heads. Great places for fishing, walking, riding and swimming nearby. Great restaurants and cafes nearby in Burringbar, Mooball, Ocean Shores, Mullumbimby, Pottsville, Billinudgel, Ewingsdale, Byron and beyond. Live music at local venues most weekends. Very friendly staff at the Crabbes Creek General Store/post office/petrol station/bottle shop. Farm fresh free range eggs and fire wood for sale when available

Great stay @ Rail Trail Retreat. Excellent location, close to NRRT and you don’t have to ride on any main roads. Power and water available. We felt comfortable and had privacy.

Jane was so accommodating with our last minute booking and responded to us instantly. Very friendly hosts with a beautiful scenic spot that was a delight to wake up to every morning. We will happily rebook and come stay here again!

Great place to stay. Huge open space to park the van and heaps of room to manoeuvre it. Expanse of lawn for the kids to play on. Location is very convenient to access lots of the coastal hotspots. Friendly hosts and friendly dog. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rail Trail Retreat, we stayed for 5 nights so that we could explore the Tweed Coast, perfect location for this! Lovely grassy level sites, plenty of room for large setups and easy access to water. Would highly recommend doing the Rail Trail (we hired e bikes at Mooball) beautiful easy ride to Murwillumbah and back.

Pear Tree Farm is an awesome spot in a quiet little village with lots of birds about. Has the added bonus of being close to M1, has power & water hookup. The hosts were great, I stuffed our booking date and it was no problem to change, with fast and clear communication. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back.

Great location at the eastern end of the northern rivers rail trail as well as close to ew Brighton (doggy) beach, Byron Bay, and Gold Coast. Bonus of property include power, water. Wi-fi and unleashed dog friendly large flat grassed property with plenty if space between three caravan/rv campers. Loved the friendly Crabbes Creek General Store (and bottle shop) and community centre (and very clean public toilet). Highly recommend this hip camp site!

Great spot. Awesome to arrive at night to an easy quiet set up with power and wifi. Level ground and well maintained. Absolutely perfect and lovely hosts. Recommend to anyone travelling through :) Thanks again !!

We enjoyed our stay on Jane's property. Wi-fi was included which was great for the kids and there is water available which was very handy. The site is well kept, private and very convenient for exploring around the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Byron Bay region. The site was quiet and we felt safe. Crabbes Creek was a cool little town with a cool General Store. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent place, Jane was able to accommodate a last minute reservation for one night on our way driving north. Electric and water provided. Lovely place, quiet, small village with shop, nice area. Cute dog too :) Thank you

Great flat grassy spot with 15a power and water, very well kept site, Jane was a excellent host, excellent base camp for exploring the area, the Northern Rivers Rail Trail is only just down the road.

Had a wonderful time. The location was great, the grounds immaculate and the hosts were extremely accomodating, allowing our children and grandchildren to descend upon us for an over night stay. Would come back in a heartbeat

My parents stayed for 5 nights in their caravan. They loved how much space there was and how close it was to the rail trail as well. Beautiful, green and quiet. Perfect for a few days out of town. Jane was great to communicate with.

I had a motorhome ample space surrounded by shade from trees. Had power and water. Great for a dog to lazy about. Great space and not on top of each other. Great for just relaxing and chilling out.

Great place to stay the night. I put in the request to stay the night at 4:00pm, the host replied with the matter of minutes! Great for someone who is travelling around with a swag like me. I felt safe in this campsite 👍🏻

This is a lovely, low-key campsite in a beautiful area with flat ground and easy access to water. There are no powered sites, toilets, or showers, so it’s best suited to fully self-contained campers—but if that’s you, it’s a great place to stay. The host was very friendly and accommodating, and kindly allowed us to plug in while power wasn’t being used by others, which we really appreciated (there are powered sites across the field). There’s also Wi-Fi available, which was a nice bonus in such a relaxed setting. The surroundings are peaceful, and the host’s dogs were absolutely gorgeous and added to the welcoming vibe. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay if you’re set up to be off-grid and value a friendly host and a nice location.

Lovely property, easy check-in. The owners let you have a fire and go back your own business. It’s a short walk to the general store and a little swimming hole. Recommend for a quick stopover any time.
