Pheasant Ground

Had a great long weekend at the Missingham Creek site. Site is very tranquil and private, with no noise from the other occupied sites reaching our group of 7 on the Aus day weekend. Plenty of room for 5 or 6 tents and the campfire was great.

I liked how secluded and private the camp site. It’s nice to pitch a tent on grassy ground. It’s surrounded by trees, so we got plenty of shades and avoided the sun during high heat of 37C. The toilet is not near, maybe 250 metres away. I don’t mind the walk at day light. It’s a flush toilet, has sink to wash hands. Bring your own soap and toilet paper. It has sensor lights and switch light inside. Very low traffic sound, not bothered at all. We hear mostly birds chirping, which is great. Grocery is 8 minutes drive. Carrinton falls is about 5 mins Drive. Illawara Fly Tree top is about 10mins. The delicious Robertson Pie 3 mins drive. Must try lemon tart and chunky beef pie. Anyway, overall we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommends this camp site if you want to explore around the area. Oh also the host is prompt in responding to my inquiries. Thank you.

Beautiful land, so spacious yet still private enough it felt as though you were in the wild. Beautifully kept, very accessible, very scenic, and toilets only a short walk away. Will definitely be back!! Thank you!

Great spot! My friends and I really enjoyed staying here. Make sure to visit the Carrington Falls area, it's very close to the campground and it's beautiful. There's a flush toilet in the campground. Cliff -the host- is very responsive, which we really appreciated.

Peaceful and central location. We were a bit limited with national park exploration given we had the dogs - so something to keep in mind even though the camp is dog friendly. Easy to day trip to various points on the coast. Note that it is right off the tourist drive but it’s not particularly noisy and we were fortunate to have the area to ourselves. It appeared that there were other camps further into the property which were more secluded. We didn’t realise this so would probably look for one of those if booking next time. Otherwise a great stay!

We had the Site 1 with a 15-feet caravan for 4 nights. The location of the property is great, a few kms from Robertson, beautifully located in the Southern Highlands with the stunning nature, and close to the waterfalls and National Parks. The site 1 is big with plenty of space,well maintained, relatively flat and equipped with a fire pit. The owner has been reactive in days before to respond to my requests, although we did not see the owner during our visit. The disappointment is related to the proximity of the road. The site 1 is literally alongside the road and therefore with the noise, we lost a part of the charm we expect from a camping experience. I usually look at in details the sites before booking and I did not notice that and it was not clearly mentioned. Other issue was that there was no toilet paper in the toilets after day 1. So mixed feelings, essentially driven by the proximity of the road (for site 1)

Such a wonderful location tucked in amongst the trees. A little noisy during the day as its near the roadway but would still recommend this wonderful place. Owner Cliff was also a pleasure to deal with.

Awesome site!! Everything was as described on the description for the site. The campsite was completely private and secluded. Toilets were clean. The recommendation for Deet was put to good use but did not diminish the beauty of the site. Would definitely try to book again if we are camping in the area!! Thanks Cliff!

Great spot! Super easy to find. We were only two, but the spots were so big and would be amazing for a bigger group too. Fire pits were awesome. Super close to lots of beautiful areas with swimming spots and walks. Short walk to flushing toilet.

Peaceful and well kept, toilet was more of a drive away rather than a short walk from this campsite but that kept us away from the road and the noise at night. Toilet was really clean!

We had a lovely short stay at Cliff's property. The little Glenn was set back from the road and hidden behind trees. We could hear the traffic from the main road but it wasn't much and very quiet through the night. Perfect sized space for our car, tent and a campfire. The toilet is a bit of a walk but nice to have a flushing loo when needed. Perfect base for us to spend the weekend hiking in the nearby national park.

My group of 10 had an absolutely fantastic time at the Missingham Creek site. It felt private but roomy and had nice flat ground with grassy spots so it was easy to pitch our tents. Cliff was kind and responsive when we messaged him for some more help finding the toilets and with info about the fire before arriving. Could do with some signage to find the toilets and on the outside.
