We loved our stay here! Lovely hosts, a peaceful countryside setting, and being surrounded by the farm animals made it such a special experience. Close enough to town for convenience, but still felt remote and relaxing. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it for a quiet farm getaway.

Overall the site was ok. The ground was flat and there was play equipment and a trampoline for the kids. It was quiet and the addition of a shower was great!
Unfortunately, the toilet was extremely messy when we arrived, with may empty toilet rolls piled up. The shower was also quite dirty.
The owner wasn’t there and someone else was looking after the property. There was a dog tied up less than 2 metres from our tent for the entire 3 days we were there. While the dog was very friendly, there was an abundance of dog poo lying around where the dog was tied up and I felt very sorry for it in the 30 degree weather we had.
There was also a goat tied up with a big heavy, chunky chain which had worn into its skin and had to have been hot in the weather.
The lady looking after the property was unfriendly, scowling, swearing at the tied up dog and not even responding when the kids and I said hello.
I left quite sad for the animals and the farm was definately not the picturesque “pony farm” we were expecting.

Katie was an excellent host. We camped near the hen house with the horses nearby. Shower and toilet were great and we were able to power the trailer for some aircon on the hot days we had while there. The kids loved feeding the horses and getting the fresh eggs in the morning.

Overall had good experience, camping close to the nature. Kids liked horses, dogs and puppies around. But it was difficult to get water and electricity for our motorhome.

We stayed one night here while travelling through Sydney on our way to Queensland and the location was perfect for an overnight stop. The main powered site is quite close to the host’s house, but we were offered the option to camp near the stables instead, which suited us much better as we prefer to be a bit more spread out. That area still had power and felt more private.
Our spot was flat, a good size, and easily accommodated two caravans. It’s a working horse property, so there is a bit of equipment and “horse stuff” around, and the entrance is a little off-putting at first as it looks more like a yard full of vehicles than a campsite. That said, once set up it was quiet and worked really well for a one-night stay.
The kids absolutely loved visiting the horses and meeting the very friendly stable cat, which was a big highlight. The host was welcoming and friendly, and overall it was a convenient, quiet stopover that did exactly what we needed it to do.

Loved every moment.
The hosts were so kind and helpful, we were having some issues with our caravan and they are so helpful and really went out of their way to help.
Their property is perfect with a trampoline for our kids and plenty of room to run around.
The kids loved the puppies, ponies and Ruby for a little push around while I cooked dinner

We booked to stay camping at Peppertree Pony Camp for 2 nights but due to loving the peacefulness, the kindness of the hosts and the overall beauty of the farm we decided to stay an extra night. Honestly couldn’t recommend Peppertree enough, the hospitality was 10/10!

The kids loved being able to pay the horses and visit the puppies.
The toys and trampoline were also a hit - so much so they wanted to stay at the property rather than visit Taronga zoo!
Takes approx 1 hour to get into Sydney CBD and just over an hour to Bondi..

We had a good time and kids loved the horses and puppies. It was quiet and peaceful. We were a bit disappointed that there was no water/dam to swim in as photos indicate but we found somewhere not too far away (driving) to swim. Host communicated well and was accommodating, even though they were away while we were there. Overall a good place to stay.

We had such a great stay. Made a last minute booking on a super hot day, and Katie had a lovely shady spot for us and our cat. All the horses on the property were so friendly, and not remotely put off by said cat! It was kind of adorable watching them suss each other out. No other campers, and far enough away from the house so was very private. Would highly recommend.

We were disappointed by our experience. It didn’t seem like there was suitable ground for camping in our assigned spot. So we went where everyone else was, and it felt like we were camping in someone’s garden. The hosts husband was blaring music on the terrace until 1am. The toilets and shower were filthy. There were new born puppies just left hanging around the outside. As lovely as they were, we were not warned of this and could have easier run over one. It didn’t feel like they had the right shelter, they were in a dirty bed and the welfare of them made us feel uncomfortable. For $133 you’d expect a lot more.

We had a lovely time camping at Katie’s property.
Katie and her family were very accommodating and our kids loved playing together on the equipment and helping feed the horses in the morning. It was a bonus having a shower and toilet at the property too.
For anyone looking for a safe place to stay with a great family atmosphere, this place is what you are looking for. Thank you Katie and her children for a great weekend.

We enjoyed our family camping trip at Pepper Tree! Our girls loved roaming the property and patting all the horses and our son was busy on his BMX. Nice and relaxing camping by the horses. Katie the host was very nice as were her family who our kids enjoyed playing and riding with. Thanks Katie!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hosts were so lovely and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. We had the best few days here, so peaceful and spacious! The location was amazing, so close to Sydney and the blue mountains. Absolutely beautiful outlook, the property was so pretty! The grass campsite was great, no dirt was brought into the van. The kids had access to a playground, trampoline and cubby house. The hosts children were super friendly and took our girls around the property, they bathed a horse and went on the buggy around feeding the animals. I would 100% recommend this camp to anyone. It was absolutely beautiful, look no further, book in here!

I had a wonderful experience at this campsite last week! The location was absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were clean and well-organized, making the stay very comfortable. I especially loved how family- and pet-friendly the atmosphere was, and how easy it was to relax and enjoy the scenery. It’s clear that the team truly cares about providing a great experience for visitors. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and can’t wait to come back again soon!

What a awsome time on there farm. Katie and husband treated us like family. Made sure we wer happy and comfortable. There kids wer phenomenal aswell taking my daughter for experience around the farm. She so loves the farm now. Thank you so much Katie and family we definitely will come back soon🤙🤙🤙

We loved staying at Pepper Tree pony camp. Plenty of spaces for large groups. Katie’s dogs onsite are friendly. Toilet and shower are clean. Close to local shops. A great experience!

What a lovely place to stay, especially with all the horses and chickens. The hosts are amazing! We based ourself here for trips into the Blue Mountains and Train Ride into the city. Highly recommend.

Back to basics site. Added bonus of a shower which we had not expected.
The people we met were super friendly and totally chilled without late arrival and our late night after seeing fireworks on NYE in Sydney.
Don’t forget insect repellent 🤣

Overall we enjoyed camping here - the horses and the dogs were huge highlights for us. And a couple of visits from the friendly cat too :-) There wasn’t any signage on the road so we felt a bit awkward feeling like we were pulling into someone’s backyard, however Katie and her husband are really lovely, and it was a really quiet, private stay.
For anyone looking to go to Sydney, driving 25mins to park and ride the metro from Tallawong station was super easy and beats the traffic. Plus with max daily spend on the opal cards means it’s really easy to get around Sydney with all the public transport options (recommend the ferry from Barangaroo to Circular Quay so you get to go under the bridge).
This is an option for people to consider when they don’t want to stay the minimum number of nights required by other locations closer to Sydney during peak season.

Super friendly host, well behaved dogs. Lots of space, very nice amenities. Power and water available. Toilet and shower are clean. Trampoline for the kids and lots of land for your pet to play in!
