Pelican Caravan Park,
8 m pop-up camper · With kids · At the time of booking I was not aware that the location was actually a Caravan Park, and the name and contact details on this site were not correct, which caused a bit of confusion, as we really wanted a nice quite spot to have our holiday, but instead ended up in a busy Caravan Park call Pelican. But it was a Great location, right on the river, but beware, there are midges. Fishing was good, Great pool, but was really cold. Facilities were nice and clean. Staff amazing. The park is old and could do with a face lift. Only disappointment we had was no reflection on the park itself, or it's manager, but rather the other guest, who , in spite of being told their dogs must be on a lead at all time, Allowed them to run free, and do their business around our van, left the camp BBQ uncleaned, and were to lazy to walk a short distance to empty their rubbish when the bins at the Camp kitchen were full, thus disrespecting the regulations and the other guests. Shame on them.
