Pelican Caravan Park features broad river frontage on the Nambucca River. We boast many features including a private boat ramp, jetty and pontoon, pool with wading pool, riverfront camp kitchen and free wifi. We offer a range of cabins and sites which can cater for group bookings, family reunions, birthdays and fishing trips etc. In total there are cabins including Superior 1 + 2 Bedroom cabins, Deluxe 1 + 2 Bedroom cabins and standard cabins. We also have powered sites, some with absolute river frontage and some approximately 40 meters from the river which can cater for caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, campervans and tents. Since the highway bypass (we were on the old Pacific Highway) the highway noise has been removed. Whilst it has always been a beautiful location, we can now add tranquil to the list. If you have stayed in the past and found it too noisy, or been put off by the proximity to the highway, then come and experience the difference. You won’t be disappointed. An ideal base to explore the Nambucca Valley, Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Dorrigo and discovering the delights of the area. Bring your boat and go fishing all day for flathead and bream or fish from the river’s edge. Pelican Caravan Park is pet friendly all year round.

Our Two Bedroom riverfront cabin's main bedroom has a double bed with linen supplied overlooking the river, second bedroom has a triple bunk (linen is supplied but bunks are not made), sofa bed, reverse cycle air-conditioning, large deck with water views, bathroom with a shower and toilet, kitchenette with microwave, full size fridge, 32" flat screen television and dining setting. A pet may be allowed, but you must call the office to discuss with staff, if you are wishing to book in with a pet.

Our newest pair of cabins are the Oystercatcher. Our Superior Deluxe One Bedroom Riverfront Cabins are situated 2.5 metres off the ground with stunning views of the Nambucca River. It is an open plan cabin that has a king size bed with linen supplied, split system air-conditioning and a 24" flat screen TV. The cabin also has a kitchenette with microwave and twin cooktop, full size fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and pod coffee maker. The spacious bathroom contains a shower, toilet, washing machine, stand alone dryer and washtub. The dining area contains a 3 piece dining setting, 3 seater leather recliner couch and 40" flat screen TV. Step out through the double glass sliding doors onto the deck to see panoramic views of the river and a 3 piece outdoor dining setting for entertaining. There is also a covered parking space beneath the cabin and shared stairs leading to the front door which has keyless entry.

The main bedroom has a queen bed with linen supplied, split system air-conditioning and a 24" flat screen TV. The second bedroom has two king single double bunks and split system air-conditioning. The cabin also has a kitchenette with microwave and twin cooktop, full size fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and pod coffee maker. The bathroom contains a shower, washing machine and stand alone dryer. The toilet is in a separate room. The dining area contains a 7 piece dining setting, two leather couches, 40" flat screen TV. Step out through the double glass sliding doors onto a large deck to panoramic views of the river and a 7 piece outdoor dining setting for entertaining. There is also a covered parking space beneath the cabin and shared stairs leading to the front door.

At the time of booking I was not aware that the location was actually a Caravan Park, and the name and contact details on this site were not correct, which caused a bit of confusion, as we really wanted a nice quite spot to have our holiday, but instead ended up in a busy Caravan Park call Pelican. But it was a Great location, right on the river, but beware, there are midges. Fishing was good, Great pool, but was really cold. Facilities were nice and clean. Staff amazing. The park is old and could do with a face lift. Only disappointment we had was no reflection on the park itself, or it's manager, but rather the other guest, who , in spite of being told their dogs must be on a lead at all time, Allowed them to run free, and do their business around our van, left the camp BBQ uncleaned, and were to lazy to walk a short distance to empty their rubbish when the bins at the Camp kitchen were full, thus disrespecting the regulations and the other guests. Shame on them.

2BR River Cabin
The cabin we stayed in absolutely perfect. Had everything we needed and more, and was beautifully appointed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved sitting on the balcony soaking in the view.
