All the ingredients for family memories are right here. Port Macquarie accommodation or a campsite just metres from the sand. A resort-style pool for that pruney-finger kind of fun. A place where the kids can roam free with new pals. A friendly, welcoming atmosphere where the good times flow as easily as the tide slipping out past the breakwall. With facilities and activities for rollicking family fun, you may never want to leave our Port Macqaurie holiday park. But then you remember the waves, the bush and the koalas, and the world outside looks bright indeed. NRMA Port Macquarie Breakwall Holiday Park is located in the heart of Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of NSW, a four-and-a-half-hour drive from Sydney. Bordering the beach and the break wall at the mouth of the Hastings River, holiday parks don’t come much more ideally situated than this. The shops, cafes and restaurants of Port Macquarie are within walking distance.

Great location and very lovely front desk team! It was a very scenic and lovely walk to a restaurant. The site itself is very well managed, especially we liked how clearly labeled everything is so it was easy to find our location. Great amenities too :)

In all honesty I shouldn't have expected too much given it was a long weekend. However, given we couldn't get a site direct and managed a 2 night stay through a Hipcamp booking the additional $40 extra booking fee charge (on top of the $59 per night) says otherwise. The site was a third occupied by large trees, luckily our footprint was small enough to cope. Whilst not Hipcamps fault the camp kitchen was so far away from the unpowered sites it rendered the effort and utility mute. On a normal weekend at normal prices I would be happy to stay there again.

We loved this campsite, the view of the breakwater and all the colourful painted rocks were great and it was so close to the town, we were able to provision and grab a bite to eat easily, we especially loved the Little Ahack nearby for breakfast!

We stayed for a night on a unpowered site on our way down the coast. Great base to explore Port Macquarie by foot, bicycle or car. The holiday park is massive so depending on your site location it can be a bit of a trek to the amenities. Camp kitchen was great and indoors. Nice flat sites but was very muddy when we visited in winter.

We really enjoyed our stay at NRMA Port Macquarie Breakwall Holiday Park. Was surrounded by a lovely area, the centre is a short walk away as well as the beach and we enjoyed walking along the breakwall looking at the colourful rocks. Also great spot for wildlife and saw lots of dolphins. The showers are lovely and the site is very well maintained. Also a show out to the Little Shack which is a small bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere not far from the site as well as Philly Up, a food truck on site that serves amazing hot dogs and burgers. Overall a great spot no matter your camping style.
