Amazing Holiday Park! We recently stayed here and have 2 more booked holidays coming up. Most recently we booked for next year and I had the best customer service experience. A very big thank you to Natasha who went above and beyond with helping me over the phone with our booking. This upcoming trip is very special and important to our family and she was amazingly helpful, making sure it was booked and suited our family and reasons for travelling. We loved the park and the facilities before but your customer service has had an even better impact on us and our future stay. Thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We camped so cannot comment on rooms. The staff was very friendly and the site we had was spacious and close to the waterslides which is where you want to be when you have kiddos.

Great place to take kids for camping. We have been here a few times as the kids love the twin slides in the water park. The pools and other activities cater for all ages. They have movie nights and other arts and craft activities in their barn. Right on the beach so you don't have to drive anywhere to get to the beach. The only thing that disappointed us was our tent site which was on a really dirty and uneven ground. No matting or grass like on the other sites. So we had dust in everything. They later explained it was a dog friendly part of the resort and they have plans to upgrade it. They also need more supervision at the waterslide to control the bigger kids misbehaving.

We enjoyed a week here with our caravan. It gets very busy on the weekends however there is plenty of space to relax in.
Our ensuite was a great choice, towels and shampoos supplied.
A short stroll and you are right on the sand and beautiful beach. We didn't try the pool as it wasn't heated, we had a few cooler days. The wifi is also very slow and difficult to pick up.
Staff in the office are really friendly and helpful. The cafe is also really convenient with good coffee.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

I just wanted to take a moment to praise the service at this holiday park, especially a lovely young teen named Phoebe who really stood out during our stay.
As a mom, you notice when staff are patient, polite, and genuinely helpful and Phoebe was all of that and more. She greeted us with a smile every time we saw her and was so kind and respectful, even when the park was busy. She helped us with our questions confidently and never made us feel like we were a bother, which I really appreciated. Will be coming back 👍

Stayed over the Oct 3-6 long weekend in a pet friendly ensuite site. Biggest caravan park we've been to and packed to the brim. Site was spacious and ensuite was nice - though quite compact and not private enough (shared entry way with the site next door). Great swimming pools and slides. Two jumping pillows (much needed given the size of the park). Downside is the playground needs to be re-done and the quintessential NRMA park 'lawn' is close to non-existent and needs to be much bigger to accommodate the number of kids. Another downside is there is no onsite bistro or cafe like other NRMA parks - there is a shop which does coffee and cake and the park brings in different food vans at night to help feed the masses. Definitley has the feel that the park has prioritised increasing the number of people it can accommodate over providing facilities. Beach is fantastic, though it is dog friendly and we had to abandon our sand castle efforts after multiple peoples dogs peed on the castles (while we were sitting there building them).

We stayed for five nights in one of the cabins, specifically the playground cabin. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, and the kids’ facilities are a bonus, including the water slide, pool, and jumping pillow. The water slide would have been even better if it flowed directly into the pool, rather than being a separate, standalone feature. The pools were always cold, not ideal for young kids or babies.
Unfortunately, the pool did not appear to be cleaned or maintained daily, as there was visible dirt floating in the water. There also seemed to be inconsistent enforcement of pool rules. At times, some guests were permitted to use donut floaties, while others were told they were not allowed. If floaties are restricted for safety or space reasons, the rules should be applied consistently, with clear signage displayed throughout the pool area.
We also found the office staff to be quite abrupt and not particularly customer-focused. It felt as though customer service was not a priority, possibly due to the high volume of visitors the park receives.
The park has significantly more camping sites than cabins, resulting in a lot of daily vehicle traffic. This was not ideal given the number of children riding bikes and scooters throughout the park.
Security staff were present but did not appear to be particularly proactive, as they were often seen sitting around rather than actively addressing issues when needed.

As someone who grew up in South West Rocks for most of my life, I’ve never had another place make me feel so at home.
This resort is absolutely gorgeous,the beach is breathtaking, the people are friendly and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere just feels comforting.
The only thing to note is the housekeeping: if you’re still in your room, they won’t clean or change your towels, so you do have to pick them up yourself. Apparently that’s just how their system works. Other than that, everything was amazing.
There’s a great local pub perfect for family dinners, and they even do buffets (we sadly missed it this time). There’s plenty for the kids the bouncing pillow was a huge hit and they practically lived on it. You can also rent bikes to ride together, and the park has plenty of space for caravans.
We stayed in a playground house, which was perfect for keeping an eye on the kids while cooking or relaxing.
They’ve got electric BBQs that work well, plus the ones that come with the accommodation, though we couldn’t quite figure those out, the public one still did the job!
Overall, an easy 10/10. We’d definitely go again… and again.

We loved our stay at NRMA umina beach so many fun activities for the children, clean amentities around the park, great coffee. The water slides were a big hit! And the two pools were great. I wish all the cabins had their own gas bbqs like all the ones we've been to. Otherwise we will definitely be back. Highly reccomend.

We have our first time camping experience with my son at the Nrma Ocean Beach holiday resort. I can't help rate them 5 stars as we had a wonderful experience on waterslides (free), paddleboard (from ourselves)on the creek, on go-cart (hv to pay) and playing pickle ball (free) at the tennis court!
Our camp site was near the beach , amenities and camping kitchen. The amenities are clean and well maintained. The camp kitchen was well equipped with hot plate, fridge, airfryer, oven, electric kettle and stove top. We were lucky it's not too busy when we were there.
