Easy access, tidal creek, large flat campsites, private fire pits, clean composting toilets and close to everything the south coast has to offer. Being only 1.3km off the Princes Highway this is a perfect spot to stop over on your way through the beautiful South Coast NSW. Whether it's just for the night passing through or longer term to explore the many attractions the area offers or just to have a few relaxing days to unwind, this spot will suit your needs and hopefully more. The homestead is easily accessed from the main road with a tidal creek on the border of the property. Mogo Creek Homestead is located close to all the major tourist attractions - Mogo town (1.3km), Mogo Wildlife Park (0.9km), Foxdog gin Distillery (1.3km), two trailheads of the brand new Mogo mountain bike trails (1.3km each way) and many more. Ride your mountain bike to the trails or enjoy some of the south coast’s pristine beaches at Tomakin and Broulee just 7 min drive from the property. Short drive to Bateman's Bay for shopping and entertainment (10km), Tomakin boat ramp and social club (6km) and Broulee beaches and Brewhouse (11km). Mogo Creek flows into Tomaga River offering estuary fishing accessible with kayak or canoe or enjoy a lazy day by the creek. All sites have access to the creek through a gate. The creek is fenced off from the sites making it safer for young children. Plenty of room in open flat paddock where you can set up camp next to the tidal creek. Sites all have flat areas suitable for tents and easy caravan leveling. Fire pit and hot plate to put on fire at each site. Firewood not provided but can be purchased at the camp site. Two composting toilets located onsite. No pets as we have free-range chickens. No access to potable water, you must bring your own. Please note - You may experience sounds of wildlife through the night - monkeys, lions or roosters. No fireworks. About our family! We are an Australian/Canadian family with 2 young children and a passion for permaculture and gardening. 👩‍🌾 We have free range eggs and seasonal vegetables for purchase when available.

Site 1 is the zoo boundary side of the paddock, left side when viewing creek. Large grassy areas with many flat spots to set up camp. Composting toilet on site. Each site has a fire pit with bbq hot plate for camp cooking. Firewood can be purchased from property. All sites have access to creek/river through a gate. Please note - No pets allowed, no fireworks please. There is no dump point located at the property, can advise of nearest dump point on request.

A lovely quiet spot just outside Mogo. Beautifully maintained and grassy site. Really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway

We loved staying at Darcy’s, we specifically stayed at site 1. The land was so clean and you can tell it’s being taken care of by amazing people. There’s baby trees everywhere and what caught my eye was the big willow tree, It was beautiful! We also saw the Emu and Buffalo’s next to our site. The toilet was really clean, cleaner than most campsites we’ve been to and does not smell at all. It was raining when we went so we couldn’t check the creek, we definitely will next time. Darcy was very welcoming and kind. It was our first camping with our 10 month old after a year of break. The stay brought us back why we started camping and travelling in the first place.

Our 2nd stay here, as usual it was fantastic. Peaceful, private, close to town, close to the trails. The hosts were very friendly and helpful which was great. The property sits right between two trails heads so you can ride from camp, head up one way and back the other. Being so close to the zoo you can also hear some of the animals there from camp which is very cool.

Came down to experience the Mogo MTB trails over the weekend. This place was just amazing to stay. Very local to Mogo and surrounding MTB trails, property was amazing, with fire-pits and river running down the back of the property to cool off in. The hosts are very welcoming and provided really good recommendations. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place to stay in Mogo. This Hipcamp is one of the best that we’ve stayed at yet. We loved having the creek next to our campsite and the kayaks available to use. The whole property was very neat and tidy and well looked after The hosts are magnificent with excellent communication. As others have said it’s so nice to be next to Mogo zoo with a special treat of the water buffaloes and ostriches in the paddock next door. This is a perfect campsite of you’re MTB riding in Mogo as it’s close to everything. We will certainly be back again.

Darcy, Stacey and their family were fantastic hosts and absolutely lovely. The campsite was perfect for a family-friendly getaway — plenty of open space, close to the zoo, and just a short drive into Mogo town. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

This was such a great spot! Incredible experience being right next to the zoo. We had water buffalos near our site and could hear animals in the morning. The creek was a great spot to kayak along with lots of wildlife in and out of the water. The host had great communication and met us on arrival with lots of information about the area.

Absolutely loved staying here! Great camping spot with plenty of open space and nice flat areas to set up a tent or park a van. The site is really well maintained, and the bathrooms were clean and well looked after, which made the stay so much more comfortable. Perfect for a relaxed, easy camping trip!

We stayed at this property for two nights. The property is located about 1km from the Mogo MTB Trail head. We could easily ride along the roadside onto town and to the trail head. The property itself was fantastic. It boarders the fence line of Mogo Zoo so we could see the buffalo roaming and hear the monkeys at night. The campsite came with a fire pit which we used to cook our dinner. The toilet facilities were very clean and the property well maintained. Can highly recommend.

We loved staying here. Spacious and immaculate place to camp with great hosts who have put in a lot of work to give you a great place to stay. Re mtb Mogo town trailhead 1km one direction and Alice in Wanderaland about 1km in the other direction so perfect for looping from camp. It was alo quite a treat to have the zoo nextdoor with buffalo and ostriches that come up to the fenceline.

Our experience at Darcy’s Hipcamp was absolutely awesome. We were a bunch of female MTB riders and our proximity to everything was perfect. Darcy and his wife are the perfect hosts with super clean facilities. We are right next door to the zoo and hearing the animals at night was a bonus. The creek would have been a welcome in warmer weather. The other sites were occupied but we all had plenty of space. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return. 10/10

We loved camping here with another family, so close to the zoo, the kids could hear the animals at times! Darcy and Stacey were great hosts, very responsive and had lots of great info to share about the local area. The site was spacious, lawn was mowed and clear and it also has a fire pit to use, the kids loved the swing set there and watching the river. Thanks for having us!

Great campsite - lots of space and it’s nice and flat. Darcy and Stacey are great hosts and can provide bags of firewood on site too if requested. It’s literally a 5min ride to one of thr main Mogo trail heads. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Sensational spot! We love the close proximity to Mogo trails and the surrounding beach areas. Lovely grassy camping site, clean and tidy toilets, sweet birds, pretty views and the fun sounds from Mogo Zoo next door. This is our second time camping here and we love it. Fantastic hosts who are super friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us again!

It was easy to find the campsite and Stacey was very welcoming. Lots of flat grassy space for kids to play ball games, and plenty of room for tents and our van. MTB trails were minutes up or down the road and it was so nice to come back after a day out and enjoy a night by the fire.
