Very lovely and quaint. Had no trouble finding the location due to easy instructions. Had a grassy paddock and areas were sectioned with woodfire pits. Lots of animals around. Very relaxing and quiet.

Open paddock with brick fire pits, and beautiful horses in neighbouring paddock. Was very windy when we stayed, but nice, simple camp site with ample space

Unfortunately our stay at misty falls was tainted by the lack of communication and signage of the exact location of the campsite. We managed to find with location by a passer by. I did get a message from the host about 5 mins before we found it as I had asked about fire wood do we need to bring it with us. The host said there are bags there for $25 which was full of empty bags. Fortunately we bought our own up as we had not heard from the host before we left the town of Jamberoo.. The host also said there was potable spring water which we couldn’t find. There was a stream outside the gate but we couldn’t be sure it was drinkable as it was coming out of a paddock full of. Cows. So in other words bring your firewood and water and I think charging people over $50 to stay in a paddock is a bit steep considering the lack of facilities.

Very nice location amongst the farms but too expensive for what it is unfortunately. There is no bathroom, shower, bbq or anything included. $60 per site for only a place to have a campfire in a field.

Such a beautiful spot, you can watch the horses and a magical mist sets in early morning. Perfect for a rooftop tent as the ground was extremely flat. Amazing spot

Host was unresponsive. I messaged asking where to park and had no reply. I spent 2 nights.

Misty Farm was a lovely stay. So quiet and peaceful up on the plateau.
The Camp was lush, each site provided a fire pit and some wood to purchase. Would recommend again.

Great campsite, just pulled in and chose a fire pit and had a lovely time. Shame there isn't even just a basic compostable public toilet otherwise we would come back and stay for multiple nights !

Perfect spot if you're in need of an overnight stay because everywhere is full or you're just passing through, the paddock is flat and does have camp fire pits set up.
Advertisement stated close to water?
Maybe meant close to beaches? Which was about 40 mins or maybe the waterfall look outs down at Fitzroy Falls or carrington Falls.
The track is very corrigated (bumpy) so best to stop at the Pie shop to Pee before heading in.
There are cows and sheep in the paddocks as you come in and horses next to the camp site, so if you're favourite appetisers are flies than this is the perfect place!
If you're travelling with children i would advise you to not add them to the booking as there is a $15 additional charge per child on top of the $50 a night, for a paddock with no power water, and charges fire wood $35 a bag.
Unfortunately just in that reason itself we won't be staying there again.
However the area is extremely beautiful and the Pie shop do amazing pies!

The perfect stop over on our way south. Quiet, location and a beautiful drive through forests to get there and easy to get to. Did a drive into Wollongong for a bit of sight seeing. Would have been great if weather was better so we could visit the Jambaroo Action Park near by. Wide area for camping, and was easy to level out the caravan. Would stay again.

It is a great spot, but I think it needs a little bit of work tbh. Really enjoyed the stay and definitely recommend it, I just think it has allot of potential.

We had a great time, just followed the pin drop on the directions and picked a campfire , stayed at the western end against the big pine tree hedge that provided a prefect wind brake
Very quiet, kids loved the friendly horses that were in the paddock
There was two other campers in view but didn’t worry us

The camp sites were quite minimal and the grass was a bit overgrown when we stayed there.
The site was a good place to stay while passing through however I wouldnt come here as a destination.

Wasn't easy to find, even with the coordinates. Needs better signage on the gate, and a road name would be helpful. Was just a horse paddock (complete with poo) and it needed a mow. Was quiet and we had the place to ourselves. Well situated to have a look at some things we were aiming at.

We had a great experience overall, however the driveway up was a bit rough with a few potholes and the paddock area needs a trim. However Bruce was a great host with his communication and even widened the driveway into the paddock for us as we were over 50ft long.

Great location, the sites are nicely spread out!
We enjoyed our stay!
Only two cons, the driveway to get in needs filling in as there are ditches on each side that you could find yourself in a pickle if you took it at the wrong angle (we have a large vehicle and a camper trailer, would be fine for standard vehicle)
Also, the grass hasn’t been slashed more pushed down. It was way too cold for snakes but it gets extremely wet with the dew. We have a crawling baby so was no idea in the morning when he was ready to move around. So may not be a problem for folk without children!
Regardless we loved our stay!

The area is really beautiful and we enjoyed our time. A few things though that weren't great. We had other groups quite close, they weren't really an issue but my experience in hipcamp had been a lot further from other campers. The field had extremely long grass and the campspots had been kind of trampled so the grass was flat but none of the grass removed. It meant a very thick layer of grass under you and it made me nervous about snakes and funnel webs. Also meant the ground was very uneven but your couldn't tell where the holes would be because of all the grass. You couldn't go outside the area prepared for you because there was a wall of grass on every side. The driveway I was directed too was definitely not suitable to take even my small van in, I ended up in a ditch which Bruce directed me out of, I noticed after that all the other vans were diverted to a different entrance so probably won't be an issue in future. The price was great and Bruce was friendly.

If you want bush camping without the fuss then Misty Farm is for you. Sites are fairly levelled and are spread apart and very spacious. During our stay, Bruce greeted us and showed us the way to the camping area. The grass was overgrown during our stay but Bruce did as best as he can to make a clearing. Although we didn't use it, there was a fire pit for every site. There is also firewood available for purchase. Water is also available.
We only used Misty Farm as base camp while we explore Robertson and surrounds. Plenty of places to visit while here. The Big Potato, Illawarra Fly, Jamberoo Action Park and plenty of falls to visit.
Whilst Misty Farm still needs plenty of work, there is room for improvement. This camp site has good potential to become better.
