Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Come and spend a night under some of the darkest skies on the Mid North Coast, where the Milky Way stretches brightly overhead and the sounds of the bush replace the noise of everyday life. Set beneath a canopy of towering gum trees on our 90 acre property in the quiet village of Lansdowne, Lansdowne Under is a secluded place to camp, breathe and reconnect with nature. The camping area is flat and spacious, making it an easy place to settle in and make yourself at home. At night, the landscape transforms. Look up through the trees and you will find an incredible night sky filled with stars. It is a simple and beautiful reminder of how good it feels to get away from it all. This is an off grid camping experience. There are no facilities on site, so campers need to be fully self contained and prepared to take care of themselves during their stay. In return, you get the freedom and quiet of having your own space amongst the bush. The property is alive with wildlife and native flora. Keep an eye out for wallabies, bandicoots and an abundance of birdlife as you explore the natural surroundings. We ask that you respect the wildlife, leave no trace and enjoy the property as you found it. Dogs are welcome, but they must be kept under control at all times and are not permitted to roam freely across the property. Lansdowne itself is a small, friendly Mid North Coast village with the essentials close by. The local shop and post office are nearby, and the Lansdowne Bowling Club is a great option if you are looking for a meal or a relaxed evening out. Whether you are travelling through the region, looking for somewhere quiet to spend a few nights, or simply need to step away from the busy world for a while, Lansdowne Under offers a chance to slow down, look up at the stars and reconnect with the landscape. You are also welcome to pull up along the driveway, with multiple access points to make getting in and out easy. A simple, secluded place to slow down, enjoy the trees, listen to the birds and have your own space.
