Location from Sydney We are approximately 228.9km via Great Western Highway/A32 from Sydney CBD. It is part of the village known as Newbridge which is 3km from the property. It is an easy 30km drive to Bathurst and 50km to Orange with only 15km away from Blayney. La Pinata is also a short drive to Milthorpe and Carcoar - all lovely award winning quaint towns worth visiting where you can take in the history and enjoy great food and wine. A great country escape destination! Even the Newbridge Train Station remains treasured by residents and fondly remembered as the stopover for Queen Elizabeth II during her 1954 royal visit! Newbridge is fortunate to have a local pub, known as the Gladestone Hotel. A a restaurant serving modern cuisine and live music most Sunday afternoons (need to check with Pub for confirmation of entertainment 02 6368 1004). This is approximately 2.7kms from La Pinata! The Property La Pinata is circa 161 Ha (400 acres) in size. Altitude of approx 900m. Over half of the land is clear, the land is mostly undulating with some steeper areas. There are 7 paddocks. Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks. The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese. The Barn Style Cabin La Pinata, for a unique glamping experience, offers a barn style cabin dwelling with all the comforts of a home but with a rustic cabin experience. A majority of the barn style cabin and its amenities have been built from recycled material, this includes the furniture which is mostly recycled or pre-loved. We are also using off the grid electricity and water supply. It has 7 sleeping rooms with 1 ensuite and 2 Bathrooms. One of the 7 sleeping rooms has a cot. It has a well-equipped open Kitchen with 5 pit stove, oven, blender, and toaster. The open living area has 3 spaces to enjoy: • 8–10-seater dining area • 3-piece lounge area (TV, with Netflix and Foxtel) • A study/reading Nook area • Another area just off the kitchen is a lovely space where you can read or relax. We have also provided a dart board and other board games for those competitive nights of fun! The barn has laundry facilities and wifi. Other Services that can be provided-coordinated Picasso Paint and Wine Experience Ask the host regarding our Picasso Paint and Wine Experience at La Pinata for groups of 8 to 12 guests. It is a lovely way to enjoy the afternoon sunset with your group, enjoying your wine and painting! 4 weeks' notice required to coordinate. Vale Creek Wines At La Pinata we can organise a wine tasting experience. The winery is called Vale Creek, located approximately 23.5kms from Newbridge (Gladestone Hotel). Vale Creek’s Cellar Door provides tastings in a relaxed setting overlooking the winery. Their wines are from clones sourced from superior vineyards in Italy – www.valecreek.com.au. The owners are delightful and welcoming. They are opened most weekends. The winery has many events occurring through the month and if it coincides with your trip, we will be more than happen to share the event with you and if you wish we can organise the wine tasting booking for you as well. Ask the Host about this item so it can be organised. Driving inside our property. Our internal roads are constantly maintained whilst 2WD drive vehicles have come and gone from our place without an issue, it is recommended to use a 4WD vehicle. The barn has laundry facilities and wifi. The kitchen features everything you need to cook yourself a meal and there's plenty of space in the dining area. There are three outdoor spaces surrounding the barn where you can sit, have a meal or enjoy the view from different angles of the property - on a clear night the stars are amazing!  In fact the 400 acres has many wonderful spots to explore and see!  If you're up for on an adventure why not book to meet and feed our friendly farm animals or explore on your mountain bikes?  It is BYO bed and table linen, pillows, towels and drinking water as well as your own catering (food).  We are located in the NSW Central West, tucked away on the other side of the Blue Mountains from Sydney.  Our village is called Newbridge.  A great destination for a relaxing weekend country escape with your friends and family! La Pinata Farm Stay Barn
Rosa is a very lovely person. Her communication was wonderful before our arrival and we were welcomed with lots of yummy treats. The barn is in a lovely position - the view and animals are great and it was very peaceful. Once we had the fire going the house was warm, and we really appreciated John helping us one evening to use the pizza oven.

We spend NYE at Rosa's property and it was absolutely awesome! Beautiful views, lotsof space around the property.. and the house itself is very spacious and comfortable. Rosa is a terrific host. Highly recommend!

Rosa is very kind and thoughtful! She gave Christmas presents to our kids! She also gave us Italian coffee every day. It was good! Staying at La Piñata is wonderful! It’s perfect getaway when you’re looking for a peaceful place away from the busy life at city. The barn is massive and it was absolutely perfect when we had our party! Thanks Rosa!

We had a fantastic family weekend/getaway at La Pinata. Rosa and John are such lovely hosts who make you feel very welcome and can't do enough to ensure that your stay is enjoyable and fun. From the pizza oven to the open fire and great places to walk over the property, we felt at home and comfortable. This is a great place for a big family, a few small families, or a bunch of friends, to re-energise and enjoy the country hills and fresh air.

La Pinata Farm Stay Barn
La Pinata was a massive property way off the grid and the most relaxing place to take a break from City life. Rosa and John pampered us completely including fresh Italian coffee every morning! The Pizza oven was a massive hit with the three teens that we had with us and we didn't turn the TV on once! 100% recommended.

Breathtaking experience

La Pinata is the most amazing place. The home is spectacular! Fully equipped with everything you could need, everything has been very well thought out. The property is breathtaking, the views, the serenity is just fabulous. Rosa is the most thoughtful, caring and helpful lady I have met, she was always available for any questions we had pre booking until arriving at the property. We had the privilege to meet her and it felt like had known her for years. The on site caretaker Ana is also fabulous, she was always available with anything we needed, she took our children to feed the animals, another amazing person. Overall our stay at La Pinata was fantastic. We would visit again in a heartbeat 💓

It was beyond what we expected! My group and I absolutely loved the beautiful cabin. The sunset in the horizon is beautiful. A fireplace kept us warm during the cold and how can you go wrong with a clear sky at night for stargazing? Highly recommend staying at Rosas for the perfect retreat

This would have to be the most lovely holiday I have had in a very very long time. The barn was absolutely beautiful and Rosa, the host was wonderful. If you are looking for somewhere to bring together several groups of friends... this is it. It can accommodate 14 people with ease and the facilities are rustically wonderful. The property was amazing and we will definitely be going back again. Rosa also kept us up to date with what was happening in the area and at her recommendation, a wonderful afternoon was spent tasting wines at Vale Creek winery which was just down the road.

A break we all need right now

We spent the holiday at La Pinata farm with close friends since all of us can't be with our family overseas this Christmas. We are so lucky to have Rosa and her family open their home to us! During the whole stay they made us feel welcome and made sure we are comfortable and even decorated the whole place to bring the feel of Christmas for our kid. This warm welcome even came with welcome baskets, a sweet santa gift for our little one, and freshly laid eggs from their farm. The place is so serene. We enjoyed the early morning walk seeing kangaroos, llmas and horses. They also have peacocks, geese and our first time to see white deers! The house has a rustic feel and each corner is simply amazing with furniture from repurposed pieces of wood. La Pinata stay is a needed break we all need from all the chaos happening right now. No wonder they are awarded one of the best hipcamp stay this year.

We had a fantastic stay at La Pinata and will definitely be back! The Barn is perfectly set up for large groups and Rosa was a fantastic host. There were no issues with electricity or water for showers which is always a plus :)

Wow!!! What can I say. We were a group of five adults. La Pinata and Rosa are brilliant. Rosa is the hostess with the mostess. Thought of everything for our comfort and extras for my husbands birthday. It was a really cold weekend but with the huge fireplace inside we were as warm as toast. We loved every bit of La Pinata and feel we have made a lifetime friend in Rosa. Quirky, eclectic recycled charming the barn was great.

We spent an amazing weekend at the La Pinata and cannot wait to come back. The hostess accommodated all of our requests and made sure that we were able to enjoy the property! About the property, the place is stunning and the house has a a lot of character. We went for a hike and explored the farm (there is quite a lot to see), they also have some cute animals as llamas, white deers and geese. I highly recommend this property!!

Enchanting farm stay experience

La Pinata Farm Stay Barn
La Pinata Glamping Barn is located on a large acreage farm and we were charmed as soon as we arrived at its doorsteps. The farm has a fairytale entry and our stay was just magical. We stayed at farms before but we never came across a farm that has white deers and peacocks! Absolutely enchanting! The barn looks even better than the pictures. It's rustic, homey and built by the owners predominantly from recycled material. The lounge room has a cozy fireplace which was incredibly soothing with its crackling sound when we had the fire going at nighttime. There were plenty of bedrooms to go around, the rooms we stayed in all had a gas heater to keep us warm. Once you warm up the room, with it off kept us cozy all night long. The host is just out of this world, we received a warm welcome, they left us delicious farm eggs and the biggest welcome basket we've ever seen. At the same time gave us plenty of privacy but help when we needed it. The children had so much fun we couldn't get them to leave. Without a doubt, this is our best farm stay experience!

Relaxing stay, fantastic place

Hidden gem. We had an absolutely incredible stay at La Pinata Glamping Barn. The views are stunning, surroundings are tranquil, the house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and Rosa and Battista were wonderful and welcoming hosts. We spent mornings relaxing at the deck overlooking rolling hills and enjoyed evenings by the cosy fireplace. There's a pizza oven which we used with a little help to start it and some friendly tips on how to make the best homemade pizza. The land around the house is huge and it was perfect for a solid afternoon hike around the property. Beautiful nature, animals and piece and quiet. I don't remember when was the last time I experienced this kind of silence. Our stay was very relaxing, incredibly comfortable and we will definitely be back at La Pinata! Highly recommended.

La Pinata Farm Stay Barn
Just amazing, we stayed here with our 8 kids for two nights and they all loved it. The hosts were amazing and Rosa went above and beyond making sure before we even arrived that we were had everything we needed. Anna the caretaker was very friendly and helpful over the course of our stay and we felt very well looked after. The property is stunning and there are some relaxing walks with great views. The house is beautiful, cosy and super charming! A few luxury features we enjoyed were the hot showers, fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and gas cooking. Our kids loved feeding the animals on the farm and spending time exploring and at the end of our stay they didn’t want to leave, asking “when are we coming back?” We’d love to visit again and again.
