Steve has a beautiful property. Very quiet spot. Steves mower had died so lawns were long and kids and dogs ended up covered in tics and leeches. All part of the experience. The best camp spot was under the maple tree near the waterfall but this was also Steve's morning bathing area so we chose one further away. Potable water is from the creek. We had a few randoms, from neighbouring properties, walk through our camp site including a lady whose dog would wee in our esky. All were polite but a little off putting as a single mum with daughters.

We have a 4WD and RV5 Oztent self contained, bush camp set-up for 2 people and our 2 small dogs. The experience at Jumping Dog exceeded our expectations in every way! Amazing 5 day getaway in lush grassy surroundings, camping by a flowing creek, enjoying campfires at night and afternoon swims in the awesome waterfall. Steve and BoyBoy are the ultimate hosts. Our dogs Billy & Max were besotted with BoyBoy, and Stef and I enjoyed guzzling Steve’s gift of home made kombucha which we discovered paired perfectly with our own New Year vodka 👍.

Gorgeous campsite on the river, lovely green paddock surrounded by trees and bird life. Steve was incredibly friendly and welcoming, he showed us all around the property and facilities and was able to lend us a fire pit ($10 charge). Lots of wood to be collected for free.
As per listing, ‘loo with a view’ is open to the elements. I don’t believe outdoor shower was working but unsure.
Overall beautiful spot and I would go back, although it’s very pricey compared to other similar camps.

We had a great time! Steve was super accommodating and we would love to come back with friends. Us girls had plans to go and explore but ended up staying on site because it was such a safe and pleasant place to be. ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Jumping Dog! Steve was a wonderful host, giving us options on different sites to best suit our group. The sites were well spaced, in a very beautiful location. I highly recommend staying!!

We recently spent 3 nights at Steve’s and had such a lovely experience.
The sites are very well taken care of, the river a welcoming cool down on a hot day, and Steve is a delight and extremely interesting to have a chat with.
We highly recommend Jumping Dog, don’t hesitate to book here.

Absolutely loved the vibe of this place. Location was close to Bellingen but far enough into the mountains to be very serene. Black cockatoos were flying around frequently along with many other birds. The creek was just beautiful and free of debris. Plenty of shaded and sunny spots around. Steve was a fantastic host and all round top bloke. I would highly recommend his property and hopefully will stay again next time we are visiting the Coffs region

This is a lush and green place to set up camp, it would be good for a group booking with friends. The river is lovely and there is a little rapid seat to bathe in. It is a fair way out of town so stock up on food and supplies. Be mindful the entry is rocky so not suitable for all types of caravans.

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed at Steve’s and we can’t wait to come back again. As always Steve is an amazing host. We had the place all to ourselves and it was a quiet relaxing weekend. Lots of swims in the creek and a morning dip in the man-made waterfall to start the day. We pitch our tent near the creek surrounded by fruit trees and it’s just a short walk to the loo with a view. Steve’s is only 15 to 20 minutes from Bellingen if you run out of supplies but is totally isolated and away from the noisy crowds. We would recommend Steve’s place without hesitation.

Gorgeous place to stay in nature! Trees, creek, aura-fall (waterfall to clear your aura) haha. Definately a place to stay if your looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

We absolutely loved every minute of Steve & Boyboy’s retreat & wildlife oasis. Highlights included Swiming in the creek whilst my daughter spotted a wren nest of baby birds, yoga on deck to the symphony of birds as my backdrop, dusk by firelight with the whole land coming a buzz & THE waterfall that washed away an any last lingering worries. Steve is the ultimate host/inventor who entertained us with many a good story & a wonderful knowledge & history of his land & the area. We’ll be sure to return & I would highly recommend Jumping dog to any other avid bird/ nature lovers who like a quiet place in nature to retreat, sing, swim & just be! Thank you Steve for sharing your healing magical place!!!

WOW I don’t think words can describe how amazing this property is! But I will try here. Firstly Steve the owner goes out of his way to ensure you have made the most out of your experience camping at his property. He is so helpful providing maps for day trips to towns and nearby beaches and provides free fire wood He loves his land and it definitely shows. The creek is pure bliss, going for swims was definitely a highlight for us and our dogs. The serenity and tranquility of this property was beyond our expectations. My partner and I have been camping for a month and this was by far our favourite farmstay by far. We look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Steve

Absolutely beautiful spot to camp! The photos honestly do not do it justice!! The camp spots are spaced out so you don’t feel on top of each other. Gorgeous river to swim in and the best natural spa bath! Steve is an amazing host who makes you feel right at home. Highly highly recommend!!!

This place exceeded my expectation, the host is super friendly and welcoming, and our campsite was right next to the creek where you can swim it even has a jumping pad. The location is well-maintained. What more can I say, if you have an opportunity book this place. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks to Steve for providing a great camping experience, His property is very well maintained with easy access . Steve provided us with a great spot near the billabong and made sure the grass was mowed before we got there. Steve and boy boy greeted us upon arriving, Steve is a great character always laughing and happy to have a chat , nothing is too much trouble.
The property is located within 30 min drive to towns like Bellingen , Urunga and a host of great beaches . Definitely worth a stay .

Loved the campsite, very peaceful and relaxing. Surrounded by luscious greenery, each site was well spaced out and the creek was so refreshing to swim in with the dogs. The best part was the mini waterfall that gave the best back massage. I will definitely return. Thank you to Steve for allocating the perfect spot as requested and being a great host.

We absolutely loved Jumping Dog! A garden of Eden; so beautifully cared for and laid out, so many details lovingly attended to and thought through, it made our stay really pleasant and one we will want to repeat next time we're in the area. Steve is an interesting, generous and sweet man.

It was such a peaceful location, the perfect place to relax & completely switch off with my fur-baby. The river is lovely & the sound of the waterfall so nice to fall asleep and to wake up to.
Steve is a fantastic host & fascinating to talk to. His kombucha is really good & my mouth is still watering over his spiced beef & Oxford sauce (yummm).
I will definitely be back 😊

Steve’s property is such a lovely place to stay and wind down. The creek is so nice to swim in and it’s a really great camping spot for dog owners. There are bush tracks near by that Steve recommended, and the property is only a short drive to Bellingen. Steve is lovely and so kind. We had some great chats and he even gave us a couple bottles of his home brewed kombucha. Would definitely stay here again.
