Our 4 secluded campsites offer the perfect retreat for nature lovers, with walking tracks, bush climbing adventures, and exceptional stargazing on clear nights. We’re a pet-friendly getaway—dogs are welcome on-leash and under control. Share the space with our friendly farm animals, including horses, a donkey, an alpaca, and free-ranging peacocks, chooks, ducks, and guinea fowl. Our property is fully off-grid, so campers must be self-contained and follow a leave-no-trace policy. To enhance your stay, we’ve recently added a flush toilet, outdoor sink, and cold shower, centrally located near the homestead due to the natural landscape. It’s a short walk from most sites and fully lit at night for easy access. Each site has its own firepit. Firewood is plentiful, fresh drinking water is available, and we can provide table and chair setups on request. Located just 30 minutes from Mittagong and 20 minutes from Berrima, you're close to great restaurants and cafes, lots of boutique shopping, weekly markets, award-winning cellar doors, and world-class distilleries and farm experiences. This site is in a large paddock that backs onto the bush and the bush tracks. Perfect for larger vehicles and caravans. There is great bird life and Australian native wildlife. If you are looking for a night under the stars our property is perfect. Star gazing is magnificant. We have recently installed a flush toilet, cold shower and outdoor sink on the property, this is located in a central spot not on a particular site and is available for all to enjoy. It is well solar lit at night. It is 150m from the site. Dogs are welcome on leash and under control. They are welcome to run freely in the bush. We have a wide variety and number of animals both domestic and free ranging including dogs, cats, horses, donkey, alpaca, peacocks, chooks, ducks and guinea fowl. There is no power and water facilities on the site, campers will need to be self contained. We can set up table and chairs, there is a plentiful supply of wood for a camp fire and fresh water is available for drinking. The property is 30 mins from Mittagong or 20 mins from Berrima where you will find excellent restaurants and village shopping. We have a variety of hampers and local wines available if you're in the mood to spoil yourselves. These require 24 hours notice.

The Sunset site is high on the ridge with endless views out to the west - perfect for sunsets. The sunrise will sneak through the trees each morning. It is a cleared mulched bush site with a firepit, table and chairs. There is no lighting at the site. Guests have access to our communal toilet and cold shower - approx 220m walk from the site and fully lit at night. Wood can be arranged and delivered to the site. - access this through extras. We have an abundance of native animals, birds and flora. If you are looking for a night under the stars our property is perfect for star gazing. Dogs are welcome off leash and under control. They are welcome to run freely in the bush. If near the house / orchard, animals must be on leash due to the free ranging peacocks. We have a wide variety and number of domestic animals and free ranging birds including peacocks, chooks, ducks and guinea fowl. There is no power on the property.

This site is situated at the top of the gorge with sweeping views over the gorge - the perfect location for sunsets. The sunrise is tempered by the gums to the east, the sunset is dramatic to the west. There are 3 different lookout spots to walk to - there is no access to the river. This is a large cleared bush area where 4WD and off road vehicles have access. The site is good for up to 3 tents / 3 vehicles. Children under the age of 10 are not recommended on this site due to no fencing on the gorge edge. Dogs are welcome and can roam freely. There is no power and water facilities on the site, campers will need to be self contained. There is table and chairs at the site and a plentiful supply of wood from the surrounding bush for a camp fire If you would like cut wood delivered to the site, please book through the extras. Drive in is beautiful through the open paddocks then once in property driving through sets the tone of a quite stay and peaceful, sunset is a smaller private spot loved the table and chairs Leanne has set up to enjoy breaky and dinner especially as it was a bit of stormy weather. The peacocks sound great and loved their calling noises during my stay. The walks on the property are nice simple walks but enjoyable but must do the George walk absolutely stunning. Whilst I am a complete self contained camper the toilet and shower was really nice and great set up

The Gorge Campsite
The gorge is incredible! The camp spot Is huge and Leanne has done such an amazing job with the log benches and set up - it’s honestly perfect! The gorge is beyond words. The pictures don’t do it justice. I had planned on proposing but couldn’t have dreamt the gorge lookout would be so perfect over sunset! It’s insane that the lookout is moments away from your camp spot (a short walk). Without a doubt the best $130 I’ve ever spent. Cant wait to come back!

Camp site was gorgeous. The only think keep in mind that you on the big rock. So will be hard to safe you tent to the ground. Nice animals on farm, donkey and lama, dogs and chickens. Host is very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Leanne’s property. We stayed at Sunset which had a lovely view facing west and the camping spot was neat. The camping ground has a slight incline but it can be managed easily. Great campfire pit and a table and 4 chairs provided. Plenty of wood around to make fire. Recommend the walk down near the gorge campsite, the views of the canyon are breathtaking. Leanne was very friendly too!!

Great camping in "The paddock." Being fully fenced was great for the dogs to have some freedom and plenty of soace for the kids. The kids also loved being able to get up close with the animals. Toilet/shower facilities are really good. Host responded super quick to any messages and was very helpful.

The environment at this camp was undoubtedly very peaceful to experience. The well-maintained grounds allowed for a sense of tranquility to be felt. There was ample space between areas, which ensured privacy and a sense of seclusion. This aspect truly contributed to a more relaxed stay for everyone. Overall, it was a great environment for a peaceful retreat.

I loved the camping and the paddock! The place is amazing soo big, and it was almost all to ourselves. We found some good spots to put the tents in a flat surface and there is firewood everywhere. Leanne is amazing, she took our kids to look for some eggs that the ducks just laid and we got to eat them. The facilities are great also, always clean and well look after. Thank you again for the hospitality, we had a great time

We loved camping at Leanne’s property. The Paddock was clean and flat and great spot for the campfire. Heaps of room for 4 campers and a communal area. The toilet and shower was clean and close enough for the sites. Great walks and views over the gorge. We loved having Nelly the donkey and Claude the alpaca to visit each day, listening to the peacocks and chooks, seeing the dogs each day. Relax, unwind and enjoy!

Great spot for a pretty sunset over the trees and a quiet, private camp. The property is easy to find, there are great walking trails, awesome views of the gorge and short walk to amenities. My only tip for this campsite is reconsider if windy, even in the slightest. Although winds were supposed to die down in the evening, we got smashed with wind gusts every so often that prohibited our fire (campsite is super dry and wind-tunneling) and bent our tent. No stargazing either :(

We spent our babymoon at The Paddock for 2 nights and had enjoyed very much! Leanne and her dog greeted us at the driveway and she also recommended places to explore. Drinking water available, great bushwalking to see the beautiful Gorge. Dogs can be off leash in bushwalking. Overall the campsite was just perfect for us as is an open field, flat surface and close walking distance to toilet and water. Lots of firewood to collect! Thank you again Leanne for everything and we very look forward to come back again!

The Paddock
We had a great stay at Joadja. We had booked The Paddock but due to a mix up were put on Wali Gnana Camp 1. It was a nice private spot with plenty of room for us with a trailer. The site is on a bit of a slope, and just a heads up to anyone that amenities are quite a walk especially at night. We arrived after dark and were greeted by Leanne which was much appreciated. The gorge walk is nice, with impressive views. The other bush track could do with some signage as we got a bit lost. Plenty of firewood to collect, and a nice but firepit set up with stones. We visited Joadja Distillery which was super cute and a great tour and tasting with the owner.

The Gorge Campsite
One of the best Hipcamps we’ve stayed at! We booked The Gorge site and it was spectacular. The Gorge lookout isn’t directly at the campsite, but just a short walk down — we were lucky enough to have the picnic table spot for our sunset snacks and wine, which made it absolutely magical. The site itself was spacious, with tables and chairs provided, a firepit, and plenty of firewood nearby. It felt private and safe, yet we also saw a few other campers wandering to the Gorge, which was nice for a sense of community. We didn’t manage to find the toilets (we probably didn’t look hard enough, as we didn’t want to wander into private areas or other campers’ sites), but they are there somewhere. Overall, a really great experience. Our car even broke down on the way and we almost didn’t make it — thankfully we did, because the afternoon and the weather turned out to be absolutely perfect.

This camp spot was absolutely amazing! My partner & I had the best time away. Our favourite part was the table overlooking the look out. ☺️ Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and wished we’d booked longer! There was also a table and logs already set up around the campsite and to our surprise we had a few fire logs already there that we were able to use for the fire 🪵 The campsite is well maintained and super affordable. Thank you for letting us stay 💛

Such a beautiful site! Could not believe the views though the gorge, facing both east and west so you get sunrise and sunset. Truly special property. The site itself was spacious, flat and perfect to set up camp.

Stunning location , the camping areas are very spacious and you have many spots to choose from , even thou there was torrential rain leading up to us staying , we found a dry spot in the paddock campground, enjoyed a campfire with plenty of clean firewood on offer . The gorge is an epic view . Clean toilet and shower . Very private , quiet location . We stayed with our 11ft caravan , very easy to get in and out.
