Jila bush cabin
Not a happy camper
Construction on side right near cabin which woke us up at 7 in the morning, compost on other side which made it hard to breathe. Was a we were not given any notification of this before getting there or after booking. It was a lot smaller than the photos made it seem, firepit was away from cabin and not in a spot where you could sit and enjoy it. People walking past so it wasn't exactly private, cabin was cold. Bed was comfortable but I don't think I'd ever return or recommend this place to anyone.

Jila Camp Grounds
Lots of space. Beautiful land sloping up gradually from the river, but plenty of flat spots. Lovely tall gum trees, and stars at night. A few sheep came down onto the property from the neighbouring property, which the kids loved to see. Toilets were the cleanest toilets that I've seen at a campsite, and a few of them spaced out, so not too far to walk at night!

Jila Camp Grounds
Under the shade of the gumtrees
The wide open spaces with filtered sunlight under the gumtrees were exactly what we needed for our first family camping experience. There was plenty of space to pitch our tents with our group of 4 families, leaving plenty of space for cooking and playing and not getting in the way of the neighbouring campers. Jila set a high benchmark for us and we are looking forward to coming back again.

Jila Camp Grounds
We had a great night here 😊 There was enough space between camp sites and the amenities were in good order.

Jila Camp Grounds
Most relaxed camping ground ever. Close to civilisation but still feels remote
Jila Camp Grounds
Great weekend with friends!
Had a really good weekend here with friends! The view was amazing :) We thought based on the pictures there was more area to relax by the river but it had quite a high bank and was difficult to get to it. We also didn't find any fish for fishing but that could be due to the flooding. Love the flush toilets! looks like they're meant to have power but the light wouldn't turn on. The campground is very open and so you can set up far from other campers which was cool! One thing I would suggest is a map of the grounds and have zones separated by coloured arrows or something, for if your group arrives at different times. The dirt path is also very rocky and hard to drive on if you have a regular car, I'm hoping there was no damage done because the huge rocks were scaping the underside as I drove over it
