Island Acres is a Plant Nursery and Macadamia Farm, situated on the far north coast of NSW. The camping area's have uninterrupted western views of multiple mountain ranges with amazing sunsets. The property is only a short 5min drive to Maclean township and other great coastal towns Yamba and Brooms Head. The 100 acre property adjoins a 3000ha Woodford Island National Park if you enjoy a nature walk or If you enjoy playing Golf. It's located on the drive in to Island Acres. Maclean Golf Club is 18 hole course and is regarded as the 'hidden gem' and is one of the best regional courses in the Northern Rivers on the same road. The island is very accessible - two bridges and a free ferry. Only 10 Klm from the Pacific Hwy

The camping area sits alongside a quiet farm dam with open views over the water. The ground is flat, making it easy to set up tents, swags or park a small camper, RV or Bus. Access is straightforward from the front of the property. The dam edge is lined with natural grass and a few shade trees nearby offer a cool spot to sit during the day. It’s a peaceful spot that overlooks the paddocks. Nothing fancy—just a clean, level place to relax, cook on an open fire (when conditions allow), watch the bird life and enjoy a simple rural setting by the water.

Good spot nice views not very good when the host can't keep his dogs out of your camp to the point the dogs are getting on your table trying to go through your stuff an host just randomly keeps popping up through your camp not for me

Amazing view, very peaceful location with really welcoming host who was great to deal with.. another great quality was the ease with our dog who was free to enjoy also. Definitely be back again.

A beautiful, peaceful spot with awesome views and lovely sunsets. Justin was very friendly, informative and helpful, supplying firewood and fire pits and our choice of sites as we were the only campers there. Would definitely recommend.

Camping at Island Acres was fantastic. Justin was extremely helpful and always made sure everything was OK, and that we did not need anything. From Headland 1, we has an awesome view west to the mountains overlooking the island and the cane fields. We were lucky to see some cane burning one night while we were there. Island Acres is highly recommended, and a great spot to stay while exploring the area. Easy access to and from the property. Molly and Bindi, Justin's dogs were also very friendly and dropped by occasionally for a pat.

We stayed in campsite Nursery Grass1 for 2 nights in mid June. A beautiful and peaceful spot overlooking the nursery and the Clarence valley beyond. We had a bit of cloud on the horizon both evenings making for a great sunsets. Justin was very welcoming and helpful and even showed us around his nursery after we asked him about it.

Lovely lush property with grassy sites & beautiful sunset views (plus a fire pit with wood to enjoy). Very kind & generous owners, their hospitality making this one of the best HipCamp experiences in 7 months of full time travel.

We had the most amazing time at Island Acres. The views of the sunset from our camp-site on top of the mountain were perfect with the camp fire burning. Justin provided us with all the wood we needed as well as water for the van. He was so hospitable and accommodating to all of us that we would definitely stop back in to say hi on our next time heading north. A huge thankyou from all of my family for letting us share your beautiful property over the Easter weekend. Photos that will be cherished. Thankyou and kind regards Andrew

Loved our 4 night stay, Justin is an awesome host and the block of land is beautiful. Amazing sunset views in the afternoon and nice and close to Maclean and Yamba. Great for a larger group and loads of space for the doggos to stretch the legs. Will definitely stay again.

One of the most beautiful hipcamps with the most welcoming and accomodating host! I cant recommend this camp more, truly. Beautiful views over the Clarence Valley from the site are not exaggerated, depending on the night will depend on the type of sky show - but there is always a show! The stars too... wow. Its quiet and peaceful, high ground that backs onto a nature reserve. Lots of wildlife to enjoy here. For the price its crazy good to stay here! Justin is a top host, he made the place feel like home immediately and I cannot wait to come here again. Its incredible.

Island Acres is in an awesome location with views to the west overlooking the nursery. With only the one site , it was nice and quiet and a great place to sit and relax. Justin was great to deal with and really helpful. Bindi and Molly the onsite farm dogs are super friendly and kept us company. They loved a pat and a play. We will definantly stay again if in the Maclean area.

Absolutely loved Island Acres Farms! What a beautiful place to stay, incredible views and the loveliest host. Couldn’t have asked for a better time away! Justin is so kind and brought us fire wood and an axe for us at night, he also very happily showed us to the dam so we could swim. Great place! And some very cute furry friends too!
