60 acres set in the gorgeous Macleay Valley mostly natural Australian bush with a balanced eco system. For many years we operated a commercial worm farm here until my partner died and then bushfires burnt business infrastructure.. Now retired just enjoying being caretaker for this special place. We have the utmost love and respect for nature and ask all those who come here to do the same.

Natural Australian bush at its best. Relax and be nurtured by Mother Earth. This is a Bird watchers paradise.  A secluded 60 acre property to walk around, collect firewood for your campfire. (This also helps us keep ground clear) Perhaps a paddle on the water here or nearby river. Because of very little light pollution, star gazing is magic here.  There is a shelter and camp cooker provided at camp area near large water lily dam and a composting toilet nearby. There are other areas for those self contained campers with 4wd.  A few minutes drive away is the mighty Macleay River where you can fish, kayak, swim or just sit and soak up the beauty. Best beaches 45 min drive at crescent Head, a little more to South West Rocks or Hat Head. The quaint hamlet of Bellbrook is 15 mins drive. Great pub on the river, good food. This is Slim Dusty country. Kempsey 30mins

Classy cabin, brand new, very private and comfortable. Kitchen, bathroom, queen bed plus sofa bed. Sit on the verandah and enjoy the birds, the views, the serenity. Watch the sun set or sit around the campfire under the moonlight. Access to pool at main house available. Walk to dam, go for a row in boat or drive to nearby Macleay River. See our campsites ‘water lily haven’ for pics of camp/picnic areas. No wifi or tv currently so perfect for that ‘get away from it all’ break, but can access wifi at main house.

Look it’s not heaps, but you shouldn’t be looking for much amenities if you’re heading to this part of the country! Beautiful and peaceful we didn’t want to spend anytime inside. Ros and Ben are a pair of legends that are super lovely and fun but also give you space and anything you need (I was in need of a bigger axe for wood and Ben kindly helped me out!). Would highly recommend and will be going again soon.

5 Star Hip Camp !
Water Lily Haven
Amazing 5 Star Hip Camp ! Stayed at this beautiful location in our 19’6 caravan. The area is super flat with lots of space. You Can park right by the Lily dam or by the shelter. The shelter adds an extra room which is great. The composting toilet is everything you need. The owners Ros and Ben are super helpful but then happy to leave you to your space and privacy. The Hip Camp area is completely private from the owners house , which I loved. You can’t see the house at all. It gives a lovely feeling of peace and quiet. Surrounded by trees and birds yet the area is perfect for solar panels, nice and clear. A fire pit is set up with fire wood ! We loved exploring South West Rocks only a 45min drive . Great beach ! We will be back !

Thank you so much Ros and Ben for hosting me as a camper on your magnificant property. I will be back! Water Lily Haven was the perfect place to stay on my travels. You both made everything so smooth and easy for my stay. I'm just disapointed I couldn't stay longer. Next time for sure! The grounds of your property are expansive and gorgeous. It was very special (for a city girl) to experience the amazing sky fall of stars at night. The perfect place in the country amonst the trees and native birds.
