We absolutely loved our time at the farm... The limited number of sites is perfect so you can spread out. The dogs loved. 🐾
Des, Rod and Wendy truly make the experience it was so lovely talking to them and finding out all about the history of the property.
The nearby swimming spots are pristine and great for a cool down.
The amenities were clean and well maintained.
We highly recommend the farm.
Ps. If you can get your hands on some of Des's organic beetroot hummus made on site it is to die for. ❤️

Absolutely beautiful location and hosts! Amenities were clean (only a short walk to the campsite), firewood was provided and everyone was so lovely! The hosts were very generous with their time- they invited us to see and learn about the garden and were always open for a chat. Wendy was gorgeous and Rod too.
They let us know the local swimming spots and trail walks so there was plenty to do and see. The resident dog was sweet and our dogs had a great time socialising off the lead. We’ll be back for sure!! Thank you for sharing your pocket of paradise 🤍

Beautiful peaceful property 45 minutes from town. Easy river access nearby and it's a great place to take the family with access to a shower and toilet.
Nice grass area on a gentle slope to set up on with a fire pit nearby.
We can't wait to go back.

We had a beautiful stay at Homegrown Farm. Extremely peaceful & serene, it was just what we were after. So many stars to see while relaxing by the fire pit.
Our dog loved running around with the resident dog from nearby & we loved location as it was our first Caravaning experience.
We will definitely be back!

The owners were incredible, quickly processed a refund for us when we had to leave early for a family emergency. The mountain views were very peaceful. Lots of chirping birds and was a delight to wake up to. The river/swimming hole was absolutely delightful, although if you’re like us and have a rooftop tent, it was a little annoying having to pack up camp each time you wanted to go as it is a public swimming hole, and about a 5 minute drive out of the campsite. But would definitely go back as it’s a great location! 🌈☀️

Overall the site was fine, would be a good spot if your travelling that way as its a bit of a drive from the main M1 freeway. Probably not worth the $65 if you have your own facilities as the place didn’t seem to offer much more.

We loved our stay. We camped with our dogs, sat around the fire every night and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. There are only 2 camping spots in the farm so it never gets crowded or noisy.
Wendy the caretaker was lovely and very welcoming!

What a beautiful place. The caretaker, Wendy was lovely and very helpful. The camping spot was nice and big.
A very big positive is the clean toilet and showers with a clean hand towel provided every day.
A swim in the dam was amazing and a stroll through the amazing organic garden is a must! All campers were very respectful and clean up after themselves.
The beautiful Simba (Sim) the dog, is just too happy to say hello every day and have a play with the other dogs.
I would highly recommend this destination. Desley is lovely and very happy to share the ins and outs of the farm.

Our family and kelpie had a great time camping at the Grove. There was plenty of space for the kids and dog to explore. There was usually an afternoon breeze which was refreshing as it was hot (35C) on a few days. Camping under the shade of the trees helped in the afternoon however the cicada above were loud at times.
It was a short drive to the river for the kids to play and cool down. The shower and toilet was clean and there was an outdoor sink.
It was a lovely country escape that was relaxing and on a beautifully serene property which was only 45 mins to the beach on hot days.

What a lovely spot! Rod was incredibly helpful and sorted us out with heaps of firewood and the organic produce was delicious, the best kale I’ve ever eaten! White Russian it’s called! It’s a must try! Thanks for having us!

Great spot to switch off and disconnect from the world. Clean facilities, lovely hot shower, and a Hipcamp we will be visit again. Hosts were very knowledgeable, but also gave us the space we needed. Thank you!

We had a good time despite the rain! There was a lot of space, so it felt quite private. Probably because of the rain there were not many activities to do in the area. The hosts were very nice and helpful, but also gave us lots of privacy.

Our group of 4 families loved camping at Desleys property. Everything from the site to the amenities was perfect. Desley was super friendly and helpful right from the moment we booked until we left the site. We had the site to ourselves and enjoyed every minute. Thanks Desley.

We loved our stay. Directions were clear on how to get there and there was no one staying at the other site, leaving the area to just us and the caretakers, a real sense of privacy when every national park was fully booked. It was also great that we weren't sharing the area with any cows, so we didn't have to dodge any cow pats! Even though it was over 40 degrees on our first day, we found a local waterhole and were able to cool off.
I highly recommend staying here; we will if we come back to the area!

Magical spot, we absolutely loved it. We enjoyed natures sounds and got the recharge we needed. So much space and Wendy made us feel home and well supported. We had everything we needed and got so amazing photos from memory.
We also enjoyed Desley tour at the organic farm and enjoyed conversations about many topics.
Don’t miss out this little piece of heaven.

Nice quiet campsite a bit off the beaten track. Host was very welcoming. Lovely views to the countryside around, and it was nice to hear the bellbirds calling to each other. Clean bathroom amenities, nice to have a warm shower. Had a great stay!

The property was absolutely beautiful! Green grass and wonderful hosts! Only a 30-40 minute drive to port macquarie town. The showers and toilets were clean. Would 100% recommend this campsite :)
