Beautiful river location perfect for fishing, paddling, bird watching. Easy 7 min drive to South West Rocks. Very well maintained and Mark is a warm and helpful host. Can get windy in the afternoon so think about tent/caravan position when setting up . We stayed for 5 days and were still not ready to leave.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. This was our first off grid stay and it all went well, except for a few windy days. We did a bit of fishing on the first day with only a few bites. Explored around South West Rocks and the RSL. Overall we would recommend.

Not for us sites are first in first served even though we booked a site. (All photos are the same for each site so not helpful). When we got there only a tree view or a tree view next to some sort of building material or back where the wheat used to be. It is also between two houses and doesn’t look like the pictures we had no view. Suggest the owners make it a four site camp as they have views. We did not stay drove in and drove straight out. That was our experience.

Mark was very helpful, even giving us a wind warning for our awning while we were camped there.

We had a wonderful 2 day stay here ,hubby caught a flathead. Very relaxing close to all attractions and shops . Only problem was we wanted to stay longer but was booked.

We had a fabulous weekend away staying on Mark's property right on the river. The views & sunsets were absolutely gorgeous & the hubby managed to catch a couple fish right on the banks. Mark was a great host & so friendly would definitely recommend & return for another trip.

Overall it was a nice enough location, difficult to access river, some snakes about.
Too many other guests for our liking.
We did have the owner clearing grass and scrub and burning off around our campsite, we felt that could have been done before or after our stay. Nice host, very knowledgeable on local area.

Mark's land was a beautiful spot to camp, we loved it. We felt like we had it all to ourselves (just one other group there at the same time as us) and the weather was perfect. Completely river front, the views were lovely. A short drive to the beautiful South West Rocks with it's great beaches, Trial Bay Gaol and the Smoky Cape Lighthouse. South West Rocks also has shops and restaurants so everything you could need is very close. Mark is a very friendly and welcoming host.

Was beautiful camping here. Mark was very accommodating and willing to help with anything. We caught fish right from our front door. Very peaceful. Would recommend anyone wanting a quiet place. Close enough to south west rocks and arakoon to leave the van for the day so we could explore

It was very peaceful and right on the river bank. There was a pair of brolgas on our arrival and we caught whiting from our camp. We were close enough to town n the beautiful beaches. Mark was very approachable and friendly. We felt very safe. The track in is a little bumpy in places but our caravan handled it nicely.

We stayed 3 nights and wished we had enough water to have stayed longer. Fantastic quiet spot right the river surrounded by a corn fields. There were some crab pots for us to borrow and we enjoyed fishing right at the front of our van. Thankfully there is an amazing fish coop just a I’m down the road as we didn’t have much success! Mark is a very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend.

This was a fabulous place to call home for 2 nights..7 minute drive to South West Rocks. Mark was a fabulous host contacting us so he could meet us in arrival. We had the place to our selves river front and secluded behind the corn fields from the road.

The site was very private and right beside the river. There were mud crab pots and a picnic table provided. There was a lovely breeze and plenty of space for our dog to roam

Great place to stay right on the water and so close to South West Rocks for day trips to the beaches and national parks.
Very tidy grassed sites that are spaced out generously along the rivers edge.
Fishing is really good caught some nice bream and flathead and lost a big fish that I will definitely be going back to try and catch again.
Mark is a great host who makes sure that your stay is great.
