Just a half hour out of Canberra, Farmily Land is an animal rescue, off-grid farm where you can have a day trip, go for a picnic, camp out, go fishing, feed and pat the farm animals, go boating or just relax and unwind with your friends and relatives in a leisurely way. There are a number of sites for caravans, vans, camping trailers, campers, tents, swags and a very unique ‘Glamping' option will be coming soon. We keep the sites spacious and well distanced so you can really feel the farms special vibe. We have dozens of friendly farm animals you can feed and pat! They are very interactive and most were rescued and hand raised by us so have very unique personalities. There is a nature playground for the kids. Very limited reception. We are pet friendly for well behaved dogs! We have a strict on-leash policy at all times and if your dog is off leash you might be asked to leave. Respect all our animals at all times. We have zero tolerance for disrespect for our farm animals. This includes off leash dogs and allowing your dog to go too close to the farm animals especially the Alpacas. Please leave no trace. Take all waste away with you, during your stay and when you leave. Be considerate of other visitors. Feel free to use the fire pits provided by the farm. You can purchase excellent firewood from the staff or bring your own. The scattered branches on the farm can be picked up and used at will. However, we have zero tolerance for the act of damaging living trees.

A sofa inside and a fire pit, table and long chair outside makes your stay super comfortable. Just a short walk from the bell tent is a clean toilet and bathroom. We welcome pets to stay with you and will prepare pet-related items in advance. Please also abide by the pet policy. We provide a 4-liter bucket of drinking water for per bell tent every day. If you need more drinking water, you can contact us to purchase each bucket for $6, or you can bring your own. The bell tent is equipped with basic tableware, kitchenware, bathing products, and provides each person with a fresh free-range egg every day. I had such an incredible 3 days and 2 nights staying at this Hipcamp — it truly exceeded expectations. The campsite itself is absolutely beautiful, especially with the peaceful pond scenery that makes the whole place feel calm and relaxing. One thing we really appreciated was how the host limits the number of campers. It made a huge difference — everyone had plenty of space and privacy, which is rare and so valuable. The farm tour was a lovely bonus. Getting to feed the chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep, alpacas, and even a horse was such a fun and wholesome experience. On arrival, I were even welcomed with a free fresh egg — such a thoughtful touch! There’s also a very nicely set up playground for kids, making it a great spot for families. Internet reception is quite limited, which actually turned out to be a highlight — the perfect place for a proper technology detox and to fully switch off. At night, the sky was incredibly clear and filled with stars — perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Facilities were also great, with clean toilets and a hot shower available, which made the stay comfortable and easy. Overall, we felt very safe, relaxed, and well looked after throughout the entire stay. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with a bit of farm charm!

Hi, I found this place so calm and peaceful. The toilet was very clean and well-stocked with toilet paper, the owner was kind and friendly, and we really enjoyed our one-night stay.

We loved our little get away. Yifu and his wife were very hospitable. The farm is quiet, relaxing and the kids were occupied. They fed the farm animals and played in the front paddock that had a trampoline, cubby house and swings. The animals are friendly and the kids got to collect fresh eggs. We will definitely be back.

It was my kids first camping trip, it was a success. They loved the farm, they loved being around the animals and the feeding tour that Yifu took them on. I would definitely recommend it as a nice easy entry into camping for your young kids.

Best experience ever! Hosts r super friendly and accommodating helped us in every way. There r a few fire pits around the farm grounds, very clean toilets and shower. Nice pond view and kids playground comes handy. All the farm animals r friendly, kids love to feed the bunnies and collect eggs. Alpacas are a bit shy but decided to visit us one morning ;) I love the horse Missy who is super chill. 3 nights didn’t feel long enough, we will definitely visit again during warmer months.

Thanks! My daughter and I loved the convenient (to Canberra) location and farm feel made it a relaxing stay. Nice tranquil view of the pond, quiet and everyone was spreadout so you can feel like your by yourself. The animals were a bonus and enjoyed... Recommend for a local Canberra area stay.

Great stay during the school holidays. The kids loved using the trampoline and swings. Yifu was extremely friendly and went out of her way to take us on a little tour of the farm. Toilets and shower facilities were extremely clean. Location to CBR CBD was great.

The scenery was breathtaking, and waking up to such picturesque views every morning was a highlight of my trip. Your farm offers a perfect slice of tranquility that I’ve been looking for. This is our second time at this camping farm. The facilities are great and it's perfect for first-timers like us with kids. This time we happened to be here for Easter, and the farmer organized an egg hunt and prepared really generous gifts for the children! Such a thoughtful host. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at The Family Land campsite. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The campsite itself offers a spacious and well-maintained area, providing plenty of room to set up and relax comfortably. It’s a great spot for families or anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful outdoor experience. One of the highlights was the cleanliness of the facilities—the toilets and bathrooms were spotless and clearly well cared for, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend The Family Land to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping getaway.

Amazing experience. The owner and his family are so kind and welcoming and we had very enjoyable conversations. He is so passionate about this particular site which we loved. No troubles with vehicle access. Great shower and bathroom facilities which are tidy and kept clean and well exceeded our expectations. Would definitely visit again.

Very friendly hosts. Lovely peaceful atmosphere with the sounds of plenty of birds. Pretty dry at the end of summer. Incredibly clean toilets with a cute, rustic shower which was very much appreciated and the owners went out of their way to make sure we knew how to use it.

We stayed here as four families with six children and had a great glamping experience. The place was comfortable and fun, especially for the kids. The host was very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing camping experience, both for us and the kids who enjoyed the animals, darm tour, camp fire and fresh eggs. We even got to experience annual alpaca shearing. The landscape around the farm is really beautiful, it feels really remote but Canberra is only 15min drive. The toilets and the shower are good. Highly recommend it. We stayed 3 nights and had enough to explore in the area and on the farm.
