Elouera Vale is a working farm located just outside Mittagong NSW. Our property covers over 140 acres. 80 acres are cleared and pasture improved, with the remainder being forest that is home to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and lots of bird life. The closest shops are approximately a 15 minute drive to either the Mittagong Town Centre or Bowral where you will find a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. The region’s rich soil and high altitude are ideal for cool-climate wine growing. Visit cellar doors in the hills and valleys around Mittagong. Head to the spectacular Nattai Gorge via the Box Vale Mine walking track, an easy 4.4km circular walk that follows an old railway line through a tunnel to breath-taking views. Enjoy a picnic in the magnificent Lake Alexandra Reserve or hike up extinct volcanic peak Mount Gibraltar. The White Gum Forest Retreat offers campsites nestled in a white gum forest, not far from a beautiful trickling creek. There is access to toilets and a small dam near the campsites for water supply for showers if required. There is 5G mobile telephone reception at the farm so you can reconnect with the world if need be. No pets please. The property is beautiful with plenty of spots to choose from when camping. The combination of Aussie bushland and minimal light pollution makes it ideal for stargazing and spotting satellites! You are guarranteed to see a variety of animals and wildlift during your stay. The amenities were well looked after and Mat was super inviting and provided all necessary information for our stay. We highly recommend visiting!

We loved camping here! A beautiful, quiet spot to sit and listen to nature. We saw camels, wombats, and kangaroos. Wayne was a lovely, cheerful host, as friendly as they come. We will definitely be back :)

Amazing place to set up for a tent camp! The property is beautiful and abundant in wildlife. We saw kangaroos, kookaburras, of course camels, and heard plenty of different bird songs. Plenty of flat open space to set up and spread out a bit while not being too close to your neighbour campers. Toilet facilities were definitely a highlight amenities, super clean and comfortable to use, definitely a pleasant bonus! Wayne was also a great friendly host and made us feel very welcome. Not too far from Sydney or from the closest town and an easy quick getaway from busy city life. Will definitely be back! Thanks Wayne!

Loved camping at white gum forest. It had all we needed, the toilets were portoloo’s but clean and smelt lovely.! Our boys had a blast seeing all the animals and of course when it rained loved having puddles to jump in. Wayne was a fab host who met my husbands energy and had great banter with him.!

We really enjoyed Wayne's property. It was secure so we felt relaxed with the kids running around. They enjoyed the animals that wandered past on the other side of the fence. The number of trees surrounding the area is beautiful. The portaloos were very, very clean. Wayne was a lovely host and took the time to take the kids for a little ride around the area. He made us feel really welcome. We'd love to come back and stay again.

Wayne greeted my group as we came in due to work etc it was no problem with Wayne he waited for a few late comments due to traffic, the camp area was gergouse and waking up to there white gums shining in the sun was great as we had fantastic sunny weather. The porta loo was wow wow so clean with mirrors, scented diffusers, absolutely spotless. The overall experience was more than I expected and Wayne has done a great job in setting this up and the maintaining of the loo's and the whole camping area is top notch and that is shown by the high level of care for letting people camp on the property. We will be back for another time very soon already organising it my group were very pleased and appreciated the high level of care and time put into this by Wayne. loved it would definitely recommend Wayne and the camping to anyone.

We had a great time at Elouera Vale on the White Gum site. Lots of space for different campers, felt like you had your own pace and beautiful views of the white gums. Portaloos available and very clean/well maintained. We had the donkeys pay us a visit which the kids loved!

Wayne was one of the best hosts we’ve met - super friendly, took the kids for a buggy ride, and even gave us firewood. The property’s huge (30 acres) with plenty of space to set up, and the portaloos were the cleanest I’ve ever seen! The setting is peaceful and relaxing; it was a bit windy during our stay, but we still had an amazing time. Highly recommend booking here, Wayne really takes care of his guests. We’ll definitely be back! :)

We had a wonderful stay here! The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at ease right away. The campsites are well-spaced, so we could really enjoy the privacy and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The restroom was honestly the cleanest we’ve ever seen at a campsite—spotless and well maintained. As mentioned in the listing, drinking water, dishwashing, and waste disposal require a bit of planning, but the charm of this place more than makes up for it. Overall, it was a peaceful and memorable experience, and we’d love to come back.

The camping areas were beautiful in amongst the old gum trees and next to the State Forest. It was peaceful and the toilets were very clean. Highly recommending Wayne gave us a very warm and enthusiastic welcome, would come back just for another chat!

We loved our stay. The camping area was well set out with plenty space between campers, and beautiful large gum trees. Wayne greeted us on arrival and took us to the camping area. We recommend this hipcamp to others and we will certainly be back.
