I didn’t have a good experience. Definitely it doesn’t worth for the money. Also, the behavior of the owner is terrible, unprofessional and so annoying every minutes.
The entrance street is not easy to get out as I have seen alot of cars got stacked.

We loved camping over the Australia Day weekend. Steve is a lovely host, always friendly and helpful. Local distillery tasting ftom Crafty at Craft Works Distillery on one afternoon was wonderful. Dalli's Campground is a great spot with clean amenities and well maintained.

My family and I enjoyed our camping here at Dalli’s campground. Steve and his crew are very hands on and always there to assist whenever we need something. They maintained the property very well. A family friendly campsite everybody enjoyed the sprinkler to beat the heat. Thanks for giving us a wonderful experience specially for the kids.

Steve has done a beautiful job of creating a fantastic camp ground. The facilities exceeded our expectations - especially the fully equipped woodfire pizza oven! Steve was always available for answering questions and is probably the most friendly host we have ever encountered. Hot showers and flushing toilets were very welcome too. Steve clearly goes above and beyond, even inviting a business to come into camp and provide everyone with whisky tasting one afternoon. Little touches like putting on sprinklers for the kids to run under on a hot day are the kinds of things people remember and take a visit from ordinary to fantastic.

We love tent camping at DALLI’S campground. Facilities were amazing, clean (hot showers and flushable toilets). Views were amazing at the top of the hill (5min walk). Steve was so helpful and kind and he works so hard to meet everyone’s needs and expectations. We will 100% be back

Great location.
If your a bird lover , you will love this place. Amenities were close by and clean , no matter what time you went there. Steve (host) was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend dalli’s campground , will definitely be coming back

We spent New Year’s Eve at this campground and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were very well welcomed and felt truly at home. The place is extremely clean, well organized, and offers an incredible sense of peace and tranquility. We chose a great place to spend the end of the year, as everything was calm, pleasant, and very satisfying. The trails are simply beautiful, with breathtaking views that made every moment even more special. It was definitely worth spending our days there. We are very grateful for all the care and for such a positive experience. We will certainly take great memories with us!

We absolutely loved our stay at Steve’s Land, Dalli’s Campground. We visited with friends and family, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature together. The campground is spacious, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful Capertee Valley scenery. Kids had plenty of open space to play, and evenings around the campfire were a highlight for all of us. The facilities are clean and well maintained Toilet and showers, which is all you need for a comfortable camping experience. It’s a great spot for group camping, unwinding from busy city life, and reconnecting with nature. We would definitely visit again.

Little confusing to check in. No answer on UHF for 2 hours, even though we have an estimate time of arrival between 3-4pm.
Had to ask other campers what to do. Guessed where to go.

Great spot, nice level ground for tents, clean showers and bathrooms, delicious pizzas from the woodfire pizza oven, and all that in a gorgeous spot surrounded by birds and nature' best. Only 3hrs drive from Sydney, the Capertee Valley is NSW's best kept secret! Steve is a fantastic host. Always making sure you have everything you need to have a great time. Thanks, Steve, we'll be back!

Great place. Steve was very accommodating, even grabbing some milk for us on one of his trips to town. We stayed 5 nights, part of which was a caravan owners event. Steve organised huge camp fires on 2 nights. Amenities are clean. A great place to stay.

Great site. Clean flush toilets, hot showers. Was provided ample space, though could be bigger. Allocated camp sites were a bit close together but that would be expected since we went on a long weekend. Steve was stern but very accommodating. Helped me pumped my mattress as my inverter broke. Overall, good experience and would highly recommend.
p.s. no signal but wifi gets turned on every now and then.

VERY RUDE owner and no sense of customer service! Felt micromanaged all the time… right from checking in (very poor instructions) till the time of checkout. Saw many others treated the same way, so not surprised! Felt like the owner/s running some wild-wild west kind of crazy show. Location wise okay but the three camp sites we were given were absolutely pathetic - very uneven and dirty. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED AT ANY COST!

We booked well in advance for seven families, but our experience at Dalli’s Campground was very disappointing. The site we were given was right next to the main road, with cars constantly passing by and creating dust all over our campsite. The ground was uneven, full of weeds and rocks, which made it very uncomfortable for sleeping.
It also appeared that the owner, Steve, was giving the better spots to selected groups, which didn’t feel fair. If the campground was already full, new bookings should not have been accepted — it was clearly overcrowded.
Overall, the location and management were not up to expectations. We won’t be returning and don’t recommend this campground to others.

Not a bad spot. Steve went out of his way to understand what we wanted and find the best spots for us.
We arrived on a busy public holiday weekend so there were many more people than we expected. We made it work though.
I wish we had brought pizza ingredients. The set up was amazing.

Mixed Experience on a Public Holida

We recently stayed here over the public holiday weekend and have some mixed feelings about our trip.
First, the positives: The facilities were excellent. The bathrooms and amenities were modern and kept very clean, which is a huge plus for any campground.
However, the experience was significantly marred by the extreme overcrowding. While I understand the desire to maximize bookings and make the most of a busy public holiday, the number of campers packed into the sites made for a very uncomfortable stay. Our neighbors were uncomfortably close, making any sense of privacy impossible.
This overcrowding directly led to extremely long wait times for the excellent bathrooms, which was frustrating and really detracted from the holiday experience.
My recommendation is to AVOID booking this campground on a long weekend or public holiday. The facility itself is great, but they clearly put profit over the quality of the camping experience during peak times.
Finally, just a note for those seeking a nature escape: Don't come here for the views. The sites offer very little in the way of natural scenery.
Overall: Great facilities, poor site management on peak weekends.
