Our campsites beside Crystal Creek offer you the opportunity to get away from it all and back to nature in a beautiful tranquil setting. This 54 acre property offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and convenient access to a range of destinations including Murwillumbah, Tyalgum and Chillingham. Breakfast and lunch is available at the nearby Crystal Creek Cafe and nursery. Camp along beautiful Crystal Creek - the level sites are on established grass. Each site has either a firepit or a fireplace, relax around the crackling campfire in the evenings as you gaze at the night skies. Sites are on the eastern side of the creek and are shaded from the hot afternoon sun. Cool off in the rock pool and enjoy the views of The Cougals and Springbrook Mountain. Crystal Creek is a spring fed creek and in periods of drought, reduced water flow may mean that swimming is not possible. The sites suit tents/swags, camper trailers and camper vans. Some sites suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Please send request. Minimum two night booking in peak times. There is access to drinking water, a toilet and a hot camping shower. Adults only No pets please.

What a lovely place! My wife and I only stayed one night, but we were able to enjoy a very peaceful place with crystal clear water. Leanne was very kind, she is very responsive and willing to help; the facilities were spotless. Access is very easy, and the mountain views are incredible. We'll definitely have to come back for a longer stay.

Easy to find, clear directions and Leanne is lovely. The site is beautiful and lush with great views of the surrounding hills. The creek is clear and great for a dip and the fire pit was perfect. Hot outdoor shower and facilities were a luxury and really well maintained.

Beautiful spot by the creek. Views of the mountains and nice flat ground for tents. Peaceful. Lovely little creek to take a dip in. Good communication with host. Facilities are clean and warm shower ! Perfect.

Had an amazing stay! Leanne was super helpful and welcoming — not far away if we needed anything. The campsite itself was big, spacious, and really well-kept. The creek was so refreshing to swim in, and the toilets were clean with the bonus of hot showers! Definitely planning to come back again.

We have stayed here a couple of times and it’s been great. Leanne communicates well and greets you on arrival. The camp spots next to the creek and well maintained, sign posted and come with a fire pit.

Leanne has a lovely patch here at Crystal Creek. We stayed by the creek at the Rock Pool site and it was lovely. The grass was lush and site flat making for easy camp set up and having the creek right by us was an excellent outlook and cooling on warm day. Having a hot shower available is a nice touch. The creek was also great for wild life spotting with the water clear enough to be able to spot fish, turtles and an eel. We're looking forward to going back.

A lush, beautiful, peaceful place to stay - camping by the gentle flowing creek is great and the little forrest area is just stunning. Leanne was easy to communicate with and everything was positive. There's a big outdoor shower room and clean toilets. refreshing experience and will definitely stay again when exploring the beautiful area.

I loved camping at crystal creek springs. Leanne was fantastic to communicate with and the camping area was quiet and clean. The stream running through the campsite was awesome to swim in and the outdoor shower was a great addition!

Communication with Leanne was fantastic. We booked late and she was able to juggle around things and accommodate us for 3 nights. Site 4 is the furthest away with about 40m in between that and Site 3, which is I think the pick of the crop - although is in between Sites 2 and 4 - just depends what's important to you....access to creek or only 1 neighbour. Toilet and shower very clean and a bonus to have whilst off-grid. Murwillambah an easy 20mins drive and lots of hidden creeks/swimming holes which were recommended to us to explore in the area. Thanks Leanne for opening up your property to us.

Well thought out, sites are spaced out giving privacy. Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful flowing creek, lots of wildlife. A calm and tranquil space. Definitely recommended.

Great spot, about 4 others camping but very well spaced out and didn’t notice them. You set up tent and fire pit right on the creek. Clean toilet, shower if needed. Grounds are immaculate. Leanne was very accommodating. Thank you for sharing your place.

A beautiful drive to get to the campground. It’s an open ground with not much shade in the mornings - was fine on a winter’s morning but bring shade during summer. Nice to be by the creek. Other campers are fairly close but it wasn’t a problem. Toilet and shower were clean and well-equipped. A pleasant stay

We stayed two wonderful nights at this place. Toilet was very clean and with the outdoor shower it was a very comfortable experience. Sleeping to the sound of running water is just magical. Thanks Leanne.

A large grassed paddock with several campsites, most by the running creek. There were a few trees by the creek, but otherwise an awning or similar would probably be needed for shade. Clean portaloo and separate roomy outdoor shower. The owner's home sits on the hill behind the camping area, but was not obtrusive. Although the site is not elevated, the views of surrounding hills were lovely. Fire pits were available but I had to buy wood in Murwillumbah. I was the only camper so I had a lovely couple of nights in my hammock enjoying the night sky.

Gorgeous spot with good basic facilities and a good balance of tree-shade and sunshine. Leanne is easy to communicate with. With only six camping sites, one has a lot of room for privacy and enjoyment. Listening to the sound of the creek is very soothing. I don't know what the solution is for when people don't clean the toilet behind them and there is not enough water to wash the toilet brush!

Great spot to camp. Right by the creek and nice distance between camps. Very peaceful and relaxing. Porta-Loos very clean and a great bush shower. We took our bikes and rode the rail trail on Saturday which was only 20minutes drive away. It was a bit wet on Saturday afternoon and evening but we still enjoyed our stay.
