Amazing sunsets. Good, clear, open area. Fire-pit and firewood was readily available. Local wildlife was not disturbing. Great service from the host.

Site 2 - Country Camping on the Coast
We stayed at Country Camping on the Coast for 4 nights and 5 days in January with a group of 4 people, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience.
The campsite was plenty spacious and comfortably suited the recommended maximum of four people. The ground was decently flat, making it perfect for swags or tents with no trouble at all. The site has a great balance of shade and sun — while we did experience some heavy rain at night, we were still able to enjoy lots of sunshine during the day, which made a big difference.
Privacy here is excellent. Aside from the occasional car passing down the road, it felt very peaceful and secluded. The only people you’re likely to see are Ian, who is an absolutely amazing bloke and a great host, or his two lovely little inspectors🐕 who occasionally stop by to check on things, they’re very friendly so make sure to say hello.
This is a self-maintained campsite, so there’s no power, toilets, or showers, but that wasn’t an issue at all. A petrol station is only 2 minutes away, and the closest town is about 5–10 minutes down the road, which makes supplies easy to access.
The location is excellent, being close to Basin View and Sussex, which allowed us to enjoy kayaking, swimming, fishing, and plenty of relaxing. Wildlife is abundant around camp — we saw bulls, cows, sheep, birds, and other animals, which really added that country feel.
Any small issues we had were resolved swiftly and easily by Ian. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A very pretty spot between cows and a forest on the other side, which actually creates shade in the morning for those who want to sleep longer. The host is very kind and came to say hello and give some tips about the area. There are no toilets or running water, so be prepared.

Beautiful grassy area beside a creek not far from Jervis Bay Area. Host is very friendly and communicative. Highly recommend this for a campsite in the area!

Ian was really helpful on arrival and super welcoming. He had great information about local spots too! The site was awesome, real quiet and peaceful, but still in a great area, close to many of the local hotspots. Waking up in close proximity to the farm animals was right up our alley too! Loved our stay here

Ian met us at the camp as we arrived, showed us around, had a chat and a laugh.
We met Nigel and Mavis, Ian’s two little dogs, that also came down to make sure we were alright!
The camping space was lovely, well maintained, freshly mowed grass, fire pits and the two spots had access to a few stacks of firewood around the camp.
The spot we chose was the first as you drive in, overlooking the creek. Quite a large space, which fit our 17’ caravan no problems at all. We had a few cows and sheep nearby to give us a nice country feel, kookaburras laughing, an occasional Rooster crow and Nigel and Mavis showing up periodically to check on us and let us know the perimeter was secure.
One tip; don’t go down Wandian road, the dirt road turnoff from the Princes Hwy, take the sealed road turnoff close to the Servos! The dirt road is wild, especially pulling a 17’ caravan!!
Well done Ian, you a great host and a legend. Would recommend the camp A+ 9/10

First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to Ian for putting this land up for camping! It's so considerate and kind.
Secondly, we were running way behind on our schedule and didn't get there until almost 8pm and Ian was kind enough to still welcome us and show us around.
And third and most important, the cows 🤣 my partner is a huge animal friend and some sort of "Disney princess" that animals just come to him. He spent a lots of his time with petting the cows and having fun.
It's a wonderful place, stargazing is spectacular.

Ian is such a lovely and very welcoming person. We drove from Melbourne and reached around 11pm, he was looking out for us to show us around, how nice of him 😊. The site is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and clean. Will highly recommend this place

We loved camping here with our little family! It was a nice green and flat grassed site, firepit and wood provided on site to use, plenty of space even with another family camping on the other site. The kids got to feed a baby lamb some milk each morning which was a highlight, day trips to the beach as only 20min driving distance. Thanks for having us!

We went across the Australia day weekend where every where else was packed and sold out. We enjoyed the peace and quiet at Ian's. Ian was so lovely and happy to tell us areas near by. We enjoyed his animals coming down to the fence line for visit! The area is shady and flat, the directions were very clear on how to get there and easily accessible.

Beautiful little spot. Lovely view of the farms animals i.e. guinea fowl, horses, cows, dogs etc. Unfortunately it was raining so we packed up early, but otherwise, very peaceful. Great to be able to have a fire with fire pits provided and plenty of timber. The Host Ian was lovely and met with us upon arrival and departure.

Small campground, lovely views and host, was perfect for a stop over. No facilities so you need to be self contained, was fine to access with our 2wd (dry weather).

We had a great stay at Ian’s site! Ian was very helpful and accommodating, and we had the pick of sunny or shady spots to set up. Was very peaceful and relaxing and loved seeing all the farm animals just over the fence!

Ian was very nice and told me about a few things in the area!
There were a couple motorbikes driving around at like 8pm. A bit loud, but didn’t bother me much, they left after 15 min.
The camp itself had two firepits and there was enough of space for the two camp spots!

Favourite stay so far. Ian came down to welcome us on arrival. The area was quiet and clean and only two campers on the site at a time. Perfect location from Jervis as well. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here and will be rebooking for next year. We were able to pat the calf that was in the paddock right next to us. Limited to campsites which is great because it didn’t feel overcrowded and camping on top of each other
